On the insulation day, they spent more than half the day just cleaning and sanitizing the attic, sealing air leaks, and blocking rodent entry points before putting in the new insulation. We call Creature Catchers (CC) as we'd used them in the past to catch a 35pound raccoon in our backyard! CC is a family owned business- husband-wife team, Andy and Sandra. Andy came out and did a complete attic check. He found a raccoon mother & baby(s) had made their home in our attic. Instead of setting up traps, he chose to do an "eviction," which means he banged around with a stick to disrupt/scare the mother (he couldnt actually reach them due to home insulation etc.). That night the mom and babies left!! I HEARD them go:))) No Harm- all good:))! Andy later re-did our vent screens to make sure no more entry points were available. CC KNOWS what they are doing.
