Excellent service. Great job. Caught a gopher and a mole for us. Good value for money too.

They were great. We had a gopher issue and they came up to set traps and did the necessary follow up. It was definitely worth it and will use them again. read more

Hello everyone, I called in Palo Alto Gopher trapping services. They came in, inspected my yard, identified gopher tunnel entry points and laid traps inside the mouths of gopher tunnels and closed them with soil. Jaime was a thorough professional, took him less than 10 mins, came by two weeks later and asked me if i had seen any activity. I said no. He seemed pretty confident that he may have caught a few. He started removing the traps and sure enough he had caught two gophers. One in my front yard and one in the back. He removed all traps, disposed the remains and buried all holes. I was very satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend these guys if you need help with gophers. Attached their card below for reference. read more

Gopher Trapping Pros San Mateo - Gopher trappings business card - Wildlife Control Near Me - Hayward, California

The folks at Gopher Trapping Pros were professional, and reasonably priced. They quickly evaluated our Gopher problem and put together a plan to address. No more gophers! I highly recommend them. read more

They were easy to work with and knowledgeable. They took care of the problem within one day. They seem quite busy, and being flexible was helpful if you need to grant them access to your place. They took care of the problem in their first round, and they knew the behavioral patterns of the gophers and where they were more likely to be present. Their service fees are reasonable. read more

I highly recommend the service. Gophers have been plaguing our garden for over a month and it has been peaceful for few weeks now. Jamie's team installed the traps around our house and followed-up twice after the installation. They work fast and I didn't have to keep track of scheduling follow-up. read more

I used Clark Pest Control for almost two years. If I was lucky, they would catch one gopher every several months. It got to the point that they were putting ~30 traps in my yard, but still didn't catch anything while I could clearly see that there's new and extensive gophers' activity. I finally gave up, and decided to go with Gopher Trapping Pros, and they caught 5 gophers in their 1st visit!!! Yep...they might cost more per visit, but at the end they provided results, which Clark couldn't. On top of it, their service guy was very polite and professional. I'd definitely recommend them! read more

I have used Jaime and his associate Carlos multiple times and would recommend them highly. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. Once you see surface mound activity, they will spend time locating the tunnels and setting traps in both directions, since one never knows which direction the gopher will be traveling. Then, they will typically return in one or two weeks to check the traps and dispose of the gopher they have invariably caught. If you have gopher/mole/vole problems, these guys are the best. read more

5 star all the way. This is the second time I have had to call in the pros. They are are very responsive and handle business. I highly recommend Gopher Trapping pros. read more

So the gopher trapping pros do a good job with what they do. However their communication leads a lot to be desired. If you have animals (dog/cats) that dig, you will have to do your own coverage of where they put the traps to protect the animals. My dogs actually dug up a trap and I let them know--they didn't seem to care. Also they expect to just text you that someone will be coming one day and to leave the gate unlocked, and don't understand that for personal safety and safety of animals and themselves around animals--that they need to tell you when they will be there or a time window at least so you can put animals inside. Prices are very reasonable.. read more

They successfully caught the gopher in less than 2 days both times we hired them

Simple, straightforward and reliable. This was an easy experience to get rid of a mole.

Very honest, professional company. I had been told by a friend that gophers had been killing our new plants. Jaime took a look at our garden and explained we didn't have gophers, we had moles. He taught me how to tell the difference and explained that moles don't kill the plants. No work needed, no charge! We will definitely use these folks if gophers ever show up... read more

I have used Gopher Trapping Pros for couple of times and Jaime is amazing and easy to work. I have tried to catch gopher my self for 6 months or so but not successful. So I called Jaime and he helped me to resolve all gopher issues. Would recommend his service to anyone. read more

Met with Jaime, he gave me a quote on the spot and I thought it was really a good price and value (especially compared to other quotes I had received). They came out next day and installed and by the end of the month they had caught 10 of them! (I saw the first 6) Some folks were trying to charge per gopher, which is a great business model for them but super expensive for anyone having more than a few, and apparently where there's one there are many! read more

I called this morning and Jaime came out today! He arrived on time, smiled, and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. I am posting this before any mole/vole, VARMINTS, have been trapped. I am posting this because I am so confident he will follow through. He stated he will come back three times over the next month to ensure they are gone. He puts traps in the ground, kid and pet safe, with a blue flag to let you know where each trap has been placed. read more

These guys are the BEST! 10 Stars! Finally, I've got my yard back. I never knew such relief from these rodents. And ever knew I could get rid of them so reasonably! Thank you! read more

Does not respond to messages after claiming they're available for a date 3 days ahead. Very unprofessional and waste of my time.

Jaime was fast and efficient and after calling him in once, there are no more gophers! I tried a few DIY attempts myself and didn't catch or kill a single gopher. Let's be honest, just call a pro and they'll take care of it for you. His prices were reasonable and he was responsive and quick to schedule me in. Would recommend to all my neighbors! read more

An annoying gopher was digging up holes on our lawn. I would uncover the holes but gopher would quickly re-cover them. Tried sonic spikes, juicy fruit gum, chili pepper but nothing seemed to deter the gopher. Finally decided to call in professional help and saw the great reviews with Gopher Trapping Pros. Jaime was very responsive, provided a fair quote, and sent someone out the same day to lay 3 traps in less than 10 min. The trap immediately worked because a raccoon came that night to dig up and eat the dead gopher out of the trap! There were no more gopher holes after that. Traps were picked up the next week. If you're ready for professional help to get rid of those annoying gophers, highly recommend Gopher Trapping Pros to get the job done in an efficient manner at an affordable price. read more

Discovered a hole in my front yard which was multiplying each day. Called Gopher Trapping Pros as i was leaving on a trip. They responded immediately, gave me a very reasonable quote (I've had this service done before by another company who in comparison charged an arm and a leg), and took care of the problem while I was gone. I was one happy camper on my return. I highly recommend Gopher Trapping Pros! read more

Jaime Carpio could not have been more professional, efficent and goodnatured. He trapped multiple nasty little critters from my yard and those of the neighbors. He told me all I needed to know about the culture of gophers and their tunnels. (As an aside, I tried putting onions in their holes. Turns out they love onions!) read more

This is hands down the best service and value for money you could get in the Bay area. I initially turned to DIY mole hunting after hearing the prices and then Jaime came to the rescue. He caught 3 moles from my front yard and laying traps at both back and front of the house. Definitely recommend. read more

Reasonable pricing, very quick response, and no more gophers! Great experience and I recommend using Jaime!

I knew something was not right when I saw "tracks or tunnels" under the earth, but I chose to ignore it thinking it was the dogs in the neighborhood. But one day I was taking care of my plants and I stepped on something and heard "Eeekk! At that point I knew I needed someone to come out and help. Had no idea what I had and had no idea who to call. Called a few people and then figured out I needed a rodent/gopher trapper. Looked on NextDoor and Yelp and found a few companies. I promptly called a few companies. Jaime was able to come that very day and was on time. He explained everything that he does and what he saw on my landscaping, and I hired him on the spot! I really didn't care too much about the price as long as it was reasonable--and it was. AND I didn't want to hear Eeek again. He set out about 10 traps with blue flags and said he would be back in about two weeks. After two weeks he came back and said he caught two voles/moles? (they sound sooo much alike) asked if I wanted to see them and I said no, then yes. I saw two dead animals. He said that would probably be all that I had but kept the traps in and would come back in another two weeks. I had him check the rest of the landscaping and he showed me areas that had moles in the past but no longer and stated he didn't see any more signs of animals. Finally he came for his traps and again I asked him to check for more signs of voles and he didn't see any more signs of animals. I got the bill via paper mail (which is fine for me) and I paid exactly what he quoted. Overall, he was great. He came on time, stuck to his quote and managed to find and remove several animals. He was very patient and answered all my questions and checked around my house for signs of further animal infestation. I would probably hire him again read more

Amazing service ! We have a ton of new fruit and flowering trees and lawn space all over our front and back yard covering about one third of an acre. Gopher trapping pros help maintain and save all the work we put into the yard over the years by trapping and removing tens of gophers , moles and ground squirrels from our yard every spring and fall. They are very prompt and efficient , just the best ! Best value for the money compared to anybody else we talked to in the Bay Area. read more

Yelp has come through again with a great referral. Originally, a neighbor via NextDoor recommended Jaime. These reviews reinforced what she had said. I realized I had a gopher issue a few weeks ago. I tried all types of "home remedies": pouring coffee grinds into a hole, castor oil into the hole, and even let my 60 pound dog do his intimidation act. Nothing worked. I hated the thought of killing any animal, even a rodent, even a buck- toothed critter who probably needed braces. Havoc continued. My yard started to look like it was having a bad hair day. Torn up grass and shredded plants had become the new normal. Jamie was great. He came out the day after I spoke to him; put down a few traps (no poison) and came back two days later, where he reported he found two gophers. He then put down some more traps and said he'd be back in a few weeks and if there were no more gophers, I was fine. We'll see what happens when the two weeks is up. So far, no more activity since he caught the two. As others have commented, Jaime is exceedingly pleasant, responsive and knows what he is doing. His prices are reasonable too, which is nice. read more

It was a pleasure working with Jaime and his employee. The employee came out during Covid-19 and I didn't need to speak to him face-to-face. He just planted the traps in the front yard and came back twice to remove the gophers and I was told he caught three of them. Now the lawn doesn't look like the surface of the moon. It's been a couple of months since the worker got rid of the gophers, and they have not come back. I plan to call Jaime again if they do. read more

Happy to support a local small business owner! I called Jaime when getting quotes for the dirt mounds that showed up on my front lawn. His rate was very reasonable and to his credit, he showed up the same day I called, as he happened to be in the area. (He also said I could pay him at the end of the service since I couldn't get home in time to meet him... wow!) Within 24 hours of the initial service call, the dirt mounds stopped appearing. It's been a week since my initial call and he came by today to check on the traps. In checking the traps he found a 5" gopher. Way to go! He answered all of my questions and seems like a really good guy. He's going to stop by another time to make sure all gophers/moles have been trapped. By the way, he doesn't use poison with his underground traps. Thanks for your help, Jaime! I'm going to share your name on NextDoor as we've seen gophers terrorizing our 'hood... read more

Woke up one morning and discovered mounds of dirt in our backyard. Had no idea if these were gopher mounds or moles or voles, so did a Yelp search and found Gopher Trapping Pros. Seemed reasonably priced compared to other places and Jaime came out to our house and confirmed it was gophers. He set a few traps around our backyard and a week later a gopher was caught. Also managed to catch a second gopher during his last visit (they come 3x per service), hopefully those pesky gophers won't return anymore! Jaime is super friendly and responsive, would definitely recommend him to others. read more

These guys have been responsive and effective. I live in an area where it will be an ongoing issue but, after they set some traps the pests are gone for a while. I will continue to use their services read more

Highly recommend Jaime and his business. We have used his services on and off for a little over a year. When we have a problem, he or his employee comes by quickly, sets traps in places I didn't even realize was activity, and comes by a week or 2 later to check the traps. Before we sought out this company, we tried catching the darn things for MONTHS with no luck, and much damage to our landscaping! His rates are very fair and so much cheaper than other companies that want to lock you in for an entire year contract. Again, highly recommend! read more

Great service - fast, friendly, reliable. We had moles and tried everything to get rid of them. So glad to find these guys.

We've been battling gophers for fifteen years--they've destroyed so much vegetation and landscaping on our property. We've used Jaime and his fantastic crew for about two years now, and there's barely a gopher hole to been seen anywhere. They're so thorough and tenacious--highest recommendation! read more

Jaime and Jaime took care of my gopher problem within a few weeks. Would recommend them to others.

I highly this company. I called Jaime on a Sunday and booked an appointment for the following day. Two weeks later, he came back and removed the traps and one dead gopher. It was such an easy experience. Jaime is very courteous and professional. He promptly responds to calls/texts. read more

I recently finished a construction project in my backyard and planted a ton of beautiful flowers. One day my Gerber Daisy was just laying on the dirt with the stem entirely gone! I noticed some piles - actually my dog did of gopher holes. I did a lot of research trying to find a company to just get rid of the gophers. I honestly did not have any interest in rehoming them. They were just become somebody else's problem that way. I called and made an appointment and they came over all the way from the Southbay. I was super impressed with that. Anyway, Carlos laid some traps down for me after doing some expert go for detection and sure enough, we caught several. They came over to clean and change the traps/reset them and we caught another one. They came out three times and since then, we have had no gophers. Super reasonable, totally worth it, excellent service, and I cannot recommend them enough. I have recommended them actually to several of my neighbors and friends and they are also very happy. read more
