I needed a skunk removed. When I first talked to them it was a little unclear on what the cost was what I needed. After I paid them then I saw lots of things were add ons. Not saying dishonest but not clear. They said they don't kill them but were evasive when pinned down on that. The wildlife rescue places claim that all the pest guys kill them. So we bailed on them after 4 days and no skunks caught in their cages. We hire another guy who got the skunks out in a day, no murder. So, I think they are probably fine for some things but for skunks, I'd try someone else. They did give a very partial refund since they caught nothing. read more

Top-notch service relocated 3 raccoons: prompt, responsive, and highly effective! Highly recommend. At least one raccoon took up residence in my palm tree (one story up, about 10 feet from the downstairs door and at eye level with our living room windows upstairs). Raccoon feces can be highly toxic plus this raccoon was unafraid, territorial and growly and made noises much of the night; I don't want to risk my visitors/houseguests having a bad interaction. Berkeley Vector Control told me that they do not cover private property but there are raccoon relocation services and a designated area for releasing them. I opted for the $425 package, which includes up to 2 adult raccoons and any babies, and the option to pay $100 for any additional adult racoons. They promptly brought a trap and set it up. It uses dry pet food and no poison, and latches closet without injuring the animal. Two different uncontrolled off-leash tiny dogs came onto our property. (Neighbors, please control your off-leash dogs! another good reason to use an approach where nothing toxic or injurious is involved). One ate some of the food and the other ate all of it. They didn't get caught in the trap or spring it. The service talked me through how to reset the door; when I asked if I should buy dry pet food since I was going to the grocery store, they said they'd be in the neighborhood and can refill it, which they did. That night, the first racoon was caught. They picked it up the next day, confirmed it was male (babies more likely if female, plus we ascertained there were no baby noises from the tree; they would have made noises if parentless overnight). I saw two more adult-ish raccooons wandering free (I think these two live on an adjacent property, not my tree). They set out the second trap (avoiding Fridays so they don't have to pick up on weekends); it too quickly caught one and they took it to relocate, and the same happened with the third racooon. read more

I'm reaching out regarding the rat control service he provided at my property approximately two months ago, for which we paid $690. At that time, James placed baits and sealed entry points. Unfortunately, we've noticed signs that rats are still active. James came back and discovered that the baits left in one section of the basement were eaten, indicating that not all entry points were successfully sealed. This suggests the initial service did not fully resolve the issue. Given the short time since the treatment and the ongoing problem, I request a follow-up visit at no additional charge to inspect the property, reassess the exclusion work, and complete any necessary sealing or treatment. James said he spoke to his manager and he will give one bait treatment and seal the hole on 6/13/25. In the morning of 6/13, I sent him a text message and he replied that the appointment was cancelled and made another appointment on 6/20. On 6/20 he said the appointment was cancelled again and would be changed to 6/23. I was not available on 6/23, I contacted him but he didn't reply to me. read more

I can't say enough good things about One Stop Wildlife Management. Over the last several months, I woke several mornings to a very strong skunk odor in my back yard that took over a week to dissipate. There was never any visible signs of skunk. When it happened for the third time, I decided it was time for professional intervention. I was fortunate to find One Stop. I called them. They came out within 24 hours of my call to assess the situation and recommend how to handle it. They identified that I had a dead skunk under a small low to the ground deck at the rear of my yard. It was raining that day so no further work could occur. We scheduled an appointment for the following week. When they had a cancellation for the day after their assessment visit, they reached out and came and completed the work. They removed the skunk and then thoroughly secured the area under the deck and under the fence at the rear of my yard to prevent future intrusions. The work was completely thoroughly and efficiently. James was careful with the plants and the watering system in the area where he was working. Nothing was damaged as a result of the work. The price they charged was very fair for the scope of the work they did. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I hope that I do not have any future issues with wildlife in my yard but if I do, I know who I will call. read more

And they captured the 1st Opossum (1.5 ft long) immediately on 2nd day. Initially I thought I had Raccoons but it turned out to be Opossum. Then 7 days later, their trap captured the 2nd Opossum (similar size). Their price for initial setup fee and follow-up fee per capture are very reasonable too. read more

We found an opossum in our garage over the weekend. Local animal control was closed and we were directed to the Berkeley police non-emergency line, who advised that we open the garage door and hope the possum left on its own accord. She was not interested in doing so. I did a frantic Yelp search and found OSWM. It was 30 minutes after the listed business hours on Sunday, but Brandon answered the phone and arrived within 20 minutes. He removed the possum within a few minutes. I highly recommend One Stop Wildlife Management. We had skunks trying to make a home in our crawl space, and I hired another company to address the issue. I wish I had started with One Stop Wildlife Management! The other company set up traps, which caught a raccoon. When I called to inform them that a raccoon was trapped, I requested that it just be released, not relocated. At that time I was informed that they would euthanize any wildlife caught in the trap and that the raccoon would be neither relocated or released, but killed. I was at work and not able to release the raccoon myself, and found One Stop Wildlife Management through yelp. I explained the situation to James, and within 30 minutes he had gone to my house and freed the raccoon. I had the other company remove their traps, and James came out the following day to take over the job with the skunks. James was incredibly nice, professional and thorough. Used One Stop in 2020 when we discovered a skunk in our yard. One Stop removed the pest and set traps for 1 week. The cost was affordable compared to other providers. However, over the course of the week, they were unreliable and would not show when they said they would and did not communicate. We finished the week and left it at that. 1 year later we are dealing with skunks again and contacted One Stop for removal. They canceled without notice and refused to reschedule because our home is in San Francisco. Although their price is competitive, I do not recommend their service as they are unreliable and when dealing with pest in and around your home a professional service is required. read more

We'd actually like to give One Stop Wildlife Management 4.5 out of 5 stars! One early morning we heard scratching and scuffling in the attic/what sounded like between the walls of our 2nd floor (kids) bathroom. I had yelped One Stop Wildlife Management and decided to ask for an initial inspection. They were immediately available the same day I called. James was very warm, knowledgeable and was able to address all of my questions. With a one-way exit door installed, the mama raccoon came out as James predicted but she got back through into our attic again by breaking through another brittle vent on our roof. We ended up replacing all six vents on the roof, the mama raccoon eventually came out again but was starting to hide out in our next door neighbor's space. After a thorough attic inspection and cleaning, James discovered five raccoon babies in our attic. We ultimately decided to lay a trap to capture the mama and reunite her with her babies which One Stop Wildlife Management secured in another location. All in all, it took five days and a little over $1000 (which compared to some other vendors seemed fairly reasonable) to address the vent replacements, and animal removal. We really liked James - he was very friendly and nice but wish he had been a little more prepared, e.g., he used our ladders to get onto the rooftop when he said he would need to return to the office to grab theirs, had asked for a box to put the babies in which he ended up providing, and would have been nice if they had shoe covers so not to mess the interior of the house since we have carpeted floors upstairs to get into the attic. There was also one day where James had an emergency animal removal for the state but there was a lack of communication with my husband so he was wondering when James was returning - he ended up coming later at the end of the day and took care of everything. All in all, James was great and Brandon was very responsive whenever I messaged him. We give One Stop Wildlife Removal 4.5 out of 5 stars and would definitely use them again! Thank you so much guys. A raccoon tried to break it into our yellow jacket trap and got caught in some string and a bush behind our fence. I hope everyone uses one stop when it comes to wildlife control these guys are amazing  I was having an issue with a skunk living under my shed in my backyard there was a pungent smell all over my backyard which made it impossible to relax back there. I set an appointment with Brandon and he came out within a few hours of our conversation. He did an inspection and explained the process of trapping and skunk proofing my shed to ensure there was no access for any invaders in the future. He was extremely thorough. We hired Brandon to deal with a family of four raccoons that were frequenting our back yard and getting way too comfortable.
