I had a small mice problem in the house. Got 3 quotes....one was $5000 ($4000 after all my "discounts " Ratman and one other were an out half that much! I liked both companies and one of the main reasons i chose ratman is because they are certified by the structural pest control board. I mainly needed rodent proofing so I couldn't get back in the house, but they are able to help with trapping an ex exterminating if necessary because they have the license. Gilbert came out and gave a quote and Andres came and did the work today. They did a fantastic job. Both of them are friendly, checked every nook and cranny to make sure there's no way they would get back into the house and gave me tips to make sure I don't have anything that interests them like not leaving my cats. Amazing customer service! They did their work and came back for weekly trap checks until there were no more. Then I found one in the garage! Even though it isn't part of the warranty (since garage doors can be left open and it's out of their control), Gilbert came by to check on the house. The traps were still clean in the crawl space, so we confirmed they came in some other way. He looked at our garage, saw a crack and blocked it, and also saw the garage door rubber was cracked so blocked it for now until I can get the garage door rubber repaired. I wouldn't believe this story if I wasn't a witness to it. ALL TRUE, I SWEAR.... A large rat took up residency in my garage during a 3 month remodel. During that time I spent $100's on traps and poisons to no avail. A security camera setup in my garage showed the bastard eating the peanut butter off the traps as he set them off 5 separate times without getting caught. Adding to the misery, he chewed holes through my drywall into the house 3X, causing my contractor extra grief and throwing my budget out the window. It's hard to find an honest, hardworking company like Gilbert and his team. Before finding Ratman Pest Control, I had another company come out and try to upsell me for a $30,000 rat slab! When I called Gilbert, he was able to fit me into his schedule pretty quickly. He arrived right on time and walked around the perimeter of my house, explaining everything as he went. I have a deck in the backyard that has always been an issue. Gilbert explained that he could trench the deck and use steel mesh to prevent rodents from digging underneath. I've also had problems with animals crawling underneath my bay window, which Gilbert said could be wire meshed as well. He also checked the garage door and chimney area (similar to the bay window situation) with suggestions to improve those areas. I've been living in my townhouse building since May 2022 and the company that management has been using didn't make a difference. They've only added 3 traps to our kitchen (when we told them they're upstairs and in all rooms of the house), and have came to "see what they can do" 3 or 4 times and no progress.
