Over the next two years, we hired two different companies to perform full removal programs. Both claimed they had fully inspected the crawl space and eliminated all entry points. Unfortunately, when the rats came back, neither company honored their warranties. We then hired 3 Step Rodent Proofing. During their inspection of the crawl space, they found and documented with photos all of the entry points they identified and sealed. In addition, the service technician discovered a water leak and showed us exactly where it was located. We would have never known about this leak without the photos he provided. We were shocked that the previous two companies never mentioned the leak, which turned out to be caused by a bad water pipe connection from the previous owners' remodel. After the work performed by 3 Step Rodent Proofing, the crawl space was rat-free. We did not see another dropping around the vents. About a year later, my wife thought she heard noises under the house. I was pretty sure the sound was coming from our HVAC system, but decided it was better to be safe than sorry. I contacted 3 Step Rodent Proofing, and they had a technician out within the week to evaluate the situation. They performed a thorough inspection of the crawl space and the house and found no signs of rats. They also told me to call them back if we saw any droppings or heard any new noises. Based on our experience, they were the only company we worked with that was thorough, documented their work, stood behind it, and remained responsive after the job was completed.

The communication was excellent, even on a holiday weekend I got called back within an hour of reaching out with questions, which I certainly did not expect! They arrived promptly for appointments and were thoughtful about avoiding tracking dirt into our home. They worked with us to customize their work to our coastal climate and were very transparent about exactly what materials they would be using (all top of the line, industral-grade!). I have pets and toddlers and they took my concerns about chemical disinfects seriously and offered several options to make sure I was comfortable with what was used in our home. They really seem to take pride in their work and enjoyed sharing before and after pictures to demonstrate all the improvements they made to our crawl space. I could not be happier with my choice to hire them, and plan to work with them again when I'm ready to replace my attic insulation.

For 150 i expected they would do more like checking for potential sites, sealing them, maybe adding something as a deterrent. I could have bought the spray myself for $7 from amazon to do this. I can never bring myself to believe it that a business could refuse to follow a court order for so long. I spent endless time and energy during this period and I hope you, whomever reading this review, could save your life and stay away from this company. What's both funny and frustrating is that this is not really a "win" for me - I'm literally just getting back my extra money paid to another provider to clean up Pacific Pest Mgn's mess. I cannot even collect interest because they filed SC-105 when I was out of the town, so the case was automatically closed after 10 days without the typical 10% annual interests (total $237.55).

These guys are FREAKING NINJAS! When I started this…read moreposition in Los Altos Hills, I quickly heard about how there were rats chewing on their Range Rover engine wiring and how they had paid for repairs twice already before asking me to take it in for the 3rd time. I thought... Hmm, If the rats are THIS ballsy, there must be more out there. So, I came to Yelp to see who I should trust to get this under control. "Peninsula Rodent Control"... seemed obvious enough, so I called. Carlos said they could swing by and take a look. Carlos came by with Francisco and I greeted them at the front door. They said they would take a walk around and go on the roof and under the house to assess the job. In under 30 minutes he texted me to come outside. It could have been 15 minutes, but I don't want to seem like I'm exaggerating, LOL. It was FAST. NINJA FAST, know that. Carlos took me around and showed me SEVERAL nests they found as well as photos they took of entry points to the house. He assured me he would be able to help and I was SO ON BOARD. We set up a work day and they came back and completely RAT-PROOFED the house from the inside and out. HOME SECURED. Carlos knew the species of rat, its habits, and how to get the upper hand with little effort. He also showed me 5 rat nests on our property up in the trees. CARLOS taught me WHAT TO LOOK FOR when checking for activity, WHERE TO SET TRAPS outside and what kind of traps were best to get (and why!). I would also like to point out the fact that this was not the first time this family had "professionals" out to look for pest issues. Never once did anyone point out the fact that the foundation of the house was completely open on the front side allowing direct access to the rats! Nor did our weekly Landscaping service alert us of the 7 (yep, we had tree guys come to clean the trees and they found 2 more!) nests in the trees. Carlos = MAGIC I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found him and his crew. Crazy Voodoo level service. Oh, AND while he was up there he also took photos of a couple trouble spots in the roofing! Talk about Above and Beyond. If he's available, you better book him up. You will not be disappointed.
