The communication was excellent, even on a holiday weekend I got called back within an hour of reaching out with questions, which I certainly did not expect! They arrived promptly for appointments and were thoughtful about avoiding tracking dirt into our home. They worked with us to customize their work to our coastal climate and were very transparent about exactly what materials they would be using (all top of the line, industral-grade!). I have pets and toddlers and they took my concerns about chemical disinfects seriously and offered several options to make sure I was comfortable with what was used in our home. They really seem to take pride in their work and enjoyed sharing before and after pictures to demonstrate all the improvements they made to our crawl space. I have given NorCal multiple chances to fix the problems but they have not answered my calls,…read moreemails or texts. They came out to fix my rodent issues in the crawl space and attic. Max came out and seemed like a nice guy. I thought he did some things in a strange order, which means that rodents would still be there. Sure enough, rodents are still there after multiple visits. Their business model is based on how many animals they remove so of course they have an incentive to keep coming back it seems. I sent them video evidence and they did not respond. They keep sending me reminders for invoices for incomplete work. They were also supposed to put a barrier attached to a door for a crawl space where rates were eating their way into the space. That never happened so of course the rats still have an entryway. On a related note, their technicians do not wear shoe guards, so they walk around your house with the same shoes that are walking over rodent droppings. I do not recommend them at all. I used them based on the great reviews and the family owned business model.

While others were positive I was seeing a wingless subterranean termite, they identified the insect as harmless. Since I am nonetheless nervous about termites, I decided to take advantage of their free inspections, which is typical of the industry I believe. And a good thing. About a week later and just a couple days before they were to come over, there was a big deposit of Frasse in our bedroom. I took a picture and posed the question to Gemini and Meta AI, which both identified it as from dry wood termites. When Robert came, he did the same. Robert explained the immigration details well. Kept in touch. Fumigator who put tent on also was communicative. Does not appear that I received a call in advance from person who took tent off. Would have liked that. Overall, I am happy with the results so far. Well, at least I feel like they did the work and I am hopeful that I will not see any termite Frasse in the next three years, which is their guarantee. I would use them again for a fumigation.

Their initial visit was extremely thorough - checked the attics, crawl space, exterior and roof. Photo documented the evidence, activity and prepped a treatment plan. Basically locked down all entrance points from the roof to the crawl space, cleaned and sanitized the activity points. This place is now a rodent fortress. Unfortunately a few must have been hunkering down in the walls because we had telltale signs of traps working within 2 days. They came the next day after we noticed - removed, sanitized and reset traps. We will see them in a week for a recheck. I'm confident in their services. Already showing results and they offer a year guarantee. It wasn't cheap -- there were others that came in lower on the quote, but it's worth the extra $ for the confidence in their quality of work and quick results.

This home was to be listed at $3.5M and this home had possible active termite Infestation. The owners wanted to fix. 24 hours before the day of appointment , I explained to the Presto technician I couldn't make it to the property to meet him. I explained beforehand there's a lockbox and provided him the code. The Technician acknowledged. He technician did only an exterior walk through of the home and provided a $$$ unreasonable quote which was much higher than what I expected. I also realized the Presto technician NEVER did a walk through inside the home. I know this because there were no interior photos in the Presto quote and my lockbox showed no access for the key removal. In summary, I received an incomplete and a very high $$$$ quote from Presto. I went with another vendor who was much more realistic and reasonable and in line with the termite work. I explained this to owner Jim via phone call and followed up with emails afterwards . I still have our communication correspondences. Jim Rossi acknowledged and wanted to make it right. I explained to Jim I went with another termite company because I was very disappointed in his company's incomplete work and because I always have a second vendor on hand for any real estate services. I thought that was the end. A few days ago, I received a letter from a collection agency saying Presto was coming to collect $106 for the incomplete termite visitation. I explained to Jim Rossi that his organization was very unprofessional about all this but Jim didn't listen and proceeded to collection from my brokerage. I called the collection company and left a VM to explain but they agency never responded to resolve this outstanding amount. I asked Jim to drop this petty charge due to his ego being hurt or whatever and move on and make sure going forward his team does a more complete and thorough job with termite inspection especially for high end homes in Cupertino, CA.

What's both funny and frustrating is that this is not really a "win" for me - I'm literally just getting back my extra money paid to another provider to clean up Pacific Pest Mgn's mess. I cannot even collect interest because they filed SC-105 when I was out of the town, so the case was automatically closed after 10 days without the typical 10% annual interests (total $237.55).
