    The arch from their deck

This place was incredible! Stumbled into the venue on a recent trip to St. Louis and was so happy that I did. Had the fish and chips which were HUGE and delicious. The service was impeccable and the view was world class!

The view from the bar is lovely and I enjoy my glass of wine. Overall the service was excellent, but the food was a miss. The shrimp were huge and should have been delicious, but they were tough and sitting in ice with unappetizing dark water underneath. The roasted cauliflower did not have the texture of something freshly roasted; it was soggy instead of firm and caramelized. Combined with the uniform temperature throughout, the dishes tasted pre-made and reheated rather than cooked to order.

Came in while visiting our daughter. We are actually celebrating our one year anniversary. View is awesome and staff was great. Food was amazing! Ribeye melted in my mouth. Salmon was super delicious too. Definitely made our anniversary dinner great.

The patio has a beautiful view of downtown and the arch!

Ramsey's Kitchen was PERFECTION!! Everything was delicious, especially the crab cake. It is now my favorite crab cake in the St. Louis area for sure.... did you see all that crab meat?! Literally no filler, just like I like them, I'm still dreaming about it! The restaurant is on the 8th floor of the Four Seasons hotel downtown and had the most amazing view of the arch. The service was impeccable, and we got many amazing recommendations from our server. The food came out quickly and everything was hot and delicious. The only complaint is that I was charged more for the wine I got, and didn't realize it until I got home and started looking through my pictures and happened to look at my receipt which showed a different price than the menu photo I took. It was pretty unfortunate considering the food was already pricy. Guess I need to pay better attention to what I'm charged for next time. I really enjoyed my experience, and I can't wait to return! I could eat one of those crab cakes every day!!

View from outside the restaurant on their terrace!

We LOVED this restaurant! We were really taken care of by our server, ambiance was spectacular, and the food is classic, comfort food. I would especially recommend the hazelnut chocolate mousse cake. :)) Delicious!

Lovely view from the 9th floor of the Four Seasons. Nice bar with plenty of seating. My $37 lobster roll was a 1 out of 10. The butter toasted bun was the best part. Maybe 2 oz of mediocre lobster. Delicious fries. Friend had the burger. He said it was outstanding. Nice service - I will go back but have a burger instead!

I took my wife here for our anniversary last year. Beautiful restaurant. Our server was very friendly and on point. I was a little disappointed in the risotto. I personally think it was a little bland. Needed some of the Moroccan sea salt. The salt was on top of the Beef Wellington. The complete dish was amazing. I was very impressed with the taste of the dish. We also ordered the cheesecake that came with a cherry and cranberry compote. Now that compote was phenomenal. It's well worth the price.

It was little confusing to get there, definitely go through the 4 seasons hotel and not the casino! Food was good, I really liked the sticky cauliflower and the beef Wellington was so good. The servers were very polite and quick. It had a nice feel and little more upscale dining. It had a nice rooftop for drinks as well

Love his restaurants in Vegas, so was looking forward to trying this new restaurant. And I must say that I appreciate how he keeps his standards high! Service Food Ambiance The greeter took us to our table, and our waitress was not too far behind to take our drink order. She was very nice, and attentive. She was also awesome at describing the menu, and Gordon Ramsey's concept of the menu. The Mac & Cheese (so smoky and cheesy), and Crab Cake (so much crab!), were amazing starters! We then moved on to the entrees. We had the scallops w/pork belly, and the 8oz filet. Both were simply delicious! The scallops actually melted in your mouth! I asked for the filet to be medium, and it came out a tad bit past medium, but still pink enough to easily cut, and enjoy! We were celebrating so we went with two desserts. One was the Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the other was the Strawberry Eton Mess, and they both were spectacular! That Eton Mess was something I'd never had before but will be all over that again! Great visit!

Ate everything. Was not impressed. Sat in the bar area for 20 min waiting to have my order taken by 2 bartenders serving 9 customers. No one ever waited on me. After being seated, I ordered 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, one side, and 3 desserts. Told the waitress nothing spicy. The sticky cauliflower was spicy. The ribs were tough and full of fat. The fried fish was so dry I only took one bite and sent it back. It was never removed from my bill, not boxed up, nor was a manager sent to my table to discuss it. Horrible service for a "Gordon Ramsay" restaurant. The Beef Wellington was delicious. The Brussels sprouts were amazing and all 3 desserts were good. The bone-in prime rib is $98 I don't see that going over well in St. Louis. I was very surprised to not see a tasting menu at a restaurant of this caliber. My recommendations, wait until Friday when the outdoor seating opens. Their patio is amazing! Skip the appetizers. They sucked. Split the $69 beef Wellington. It's big enough for two. Order dessert. I was in Charleston, NC several days ago and the food was half as expensive and twice as good. Do better Ramsay! I was contacted by management recently with an invite and credit toward food to return. To be continued.....

Great night out. We got dressed up, used valet parking and had a wonderful meal. Our waiter was great and we tried most of the menu between the 4 of us. The steak was one of the best I've ever had. Loved the beets. Potato leek soup was fabulous. The rolls were very average. They are the only thing I was not impressed with. This is a very expensive meal but it did not disappoint. The view from the restaurant of the city is one of the best

Songbird makes great use of its space and should be near the top of your STL brunch list. A reasonably-sized (not-overwhelming) menu, great coffee, delicious cocktails, quick, attentive service, and undeniably delicous food. I took off on a redeye this morning (coffee courtesy of Blueprint), and landed on the Farm Sampler: two scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, sourdough toast, sliced avocado and sauteed shiitake mushrooms. Phenomenal flavors and textures. Toast is typically an afterthought for me, but the buttery crunch of the sourdough has to be spotlighted. The Bee's Knees cocktail was also a wonderfully refreshing prelude to the approaching STL summer. The time has come, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say: wake up, reserve, enjoy.

I was very excited to try them but left knowing I would not return. I waited 40 minutes on a weekday morning for a bar seat for one, standing because all the waiting area seats were taken. The hostess/waitress was very nice when she got to me, but you could tell that the amount of customers was simply too much to handle. Now, this was okay - I should have made a reservation, and it's not the staff's fault they were overwhelmed. However, the service once I sat down was patchy, delayed and distracted. I had to remind different servers of my presence, multiple times. I was willing to overlook this if the food had been fantastic, but unfortunately, their most popular item, the combo breakfast sandwich, was so incredibly heavy. The first bite was crispy, oily and fatty deliciousness, but by the third bite it was simply too rich. The sweet overtone of the honey was lovely but did not cut through the grease. By the time I finished half, I understood why several diners had left the other half uneaten. My personal preference is for a fresh, umami yet balanced sandwich that does not make me feel queasy after finishing it. This was not the sandwich for me. There was a long delay after I finished eating for them to bring me the check. My whole meal took around 2.5 hours. I had arrived starving and, I like to think, with an open mind. These are my honest, unfiltered observations. It is wonderful that so many people want to try their food and that their new space is bigger. Their decor, glassware and menu were cute and tasteful. I also love that they grew from a farmers market food stall and that they source their ingredients locally. With their level of popularity, I think they should focus on preserving the quality of their service and food.

We thought we had to wait for a long time, but it actually went quick (like 5 minutes) when we got there. We did not realize this place had an upstairs, until our waiter guided us. This place looks very large on the inside compared to what it looks like on the outside. The restaurant also had an rustic atmosphere. With exposed pipes, rusted decor, and 80's memorabilia on the shelf. We ordered coffee here, and one of them came in a Christmas cup. Even though it was six months away. My wife chuckled on how they served her coffee in a Christmas cup. Mine came in a plain white cup. But I still excessively chuckled on how funny the menu is and the staff are. The staff are very attentive to how your food tastes and make plenty of funny jokes with you. They also are very descriptive on what the specials on pancakes and omelettes are. As well as being very honest. I ordered the Benny's Got Beef Or Belly with Brisket. I know, long name. I watched the weather while my food was being prepared, and occasionally looking at the PBS TV nearby. My wife was drawing with my 11 year old daughter (and writing "secret messages") as their food was being prepped and prepared. When my food finally came out, I immediately took a bite. The brisket was very juicy and tender. And the eggs were delicious on the side. I tried this place several years ago. Was still the same good taste that I remember when I took my wife to this place. Very amazing place. Will come again.

Whether it is the quaintly appointed guest…read morerooms or the delightful library and parlor, each area of this former residence is unique and meticulously maintained. While it is not likely the norm, the owners, Mark & Leslie, met us at the front door, quite literally inviting us into their establishment. It was simply the most welcoming manner in which to be introduced to this treasure and Leslie quickly engaged us with the history of the home and how she and Mark had recently become the owners. We chose this destination based upon the significance of the Fleur-de-lis to my love, a native New Orleanian. Given St. Louis' rich French heritage, the mansion was originally outfitted with four chimneys that feature the fleur-de-lis design and the pattern is repeated throughout the home. While we enjoyed a quiet morning coffee in the back of the property, a lovely shaded patio area, she noticed how many places the symbol was present. She actually made mention to Mark & Leslie that they could make an activity out of counting/finding all of the fleur-de-lis around the home. What a fun idea! We were fortunate enough to book the Tower Grove Park room, a spacious room fitted with a king-size bed and a two-person jacuzzi tub. There is even a 'fainting couch' for that extra French touch! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the decor and accoutrements were exceptional, right down to the pocket doors and writing desk. But a B&B is set apart by the fare served in the morning, and this is where Mark, a chef by trade, and Leslie, a self-taught baker, knock it out of the park. That morning's menu included a fruit starter, fresh juice, Leslie's home-baked sourdough toast and home-baked English muffins, and Mark's egg and sausage soufflés with country potatoes. The entire breakfast had us completely over the moon! We felt so at home that we wanted to clear our own place - so we did! The rates are competitive and well worth every moment spent here. There is parking behind the property, as well as across from the property, and each guest is allowed a unique security code so as to gain entry while you are enjoying your stay. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this getaway, and Mark, Leslie, & assistant Sammy made us feel like family from the moment we crossed the threshold. We'll be back - and you should give Fleur-de-Lys a try!
