I had the opportunity to try Cafe at Mountain View again. The interior and decor is so pretty! Lots of seatings indoors and outdoors. I enjoyed their turkey club sandwich. There was lots of smashed avocado which I appreciated. Great portions for the price. The tomato bacon jam that they use, adds a nice sweetness to every bite. All the ingredients tasted fresh and worked so well together. The creamy tomato basil soup still continues to be my fave. Very good and consistent from my last visit. I've always wanted to feel like an elite Google tech bro in Silicon Valley, so touring this visitor cafe on the Google campus that's open to the public is the closest thing there is! We visited on a summer Saturday, when it gets quite busy. The interior and decor of the cafeteria is very visually appealing, clean, and minimalistic. There's a wide variety of items on the menu, including a huge selection of baked in-house pastries like cupcakes and eclairs. We ordered a massive feast fit for even the hungriest Google employee: Strawberry Dragonfruit (4/5): This drinks just tastes like ordinary juice, but it's a big cup and very refreshing. Oat Latte (5/5): This was our biggest suprise -- comparable to coffee in Seattle! It goes down the throat smoothly. Crispy Ruben (5/5): The corned beef is a little too greasy, but it definitely is cooked crispy like bacon and very well seasoned. Served with sauerkraut and Swiss cheese on toasted rye, this was our favorite item! Smoked Salmon Toast (chef's special) (2/5): The toast is smothered with a generous amount of some kind of salmon pate-like cream cheese mousse, which made this dish way too salty. The smoked salmon itself was okay. Chocolate Eclair (2/5): This eclair didn't taste that fresh, maybe it was from yesterday? It also had too much thick white custard cream inside, oozing all over our mouths and a giving us a richness overdose. Overall, the food and ambiance is actually pretty decent for a convenient lunch when you are at the Google Visitor Experience. Out of curiosity, I recently visited Google's campus to try this cafe which is open to the public. I ordered the porchetta sandwich and it was delicious. While I typically don't eat dessert for lunch, I couldn't resist ordering the pumpkin creme fraiche layer cake. I found it to be quite tasty too. Service was prompt and friendly. As others have mentioned, the Google visitor parking is kind of far away (12 min away by foot according to Google Maps). Nevertheless, the menu is enticing enough for me to treat those 12 minutes as an opportunity to get more steps in my day. read more

A really cute little pit stop for those new to the tech area and wanting to take a nice stroll around the Google campuses and see all the usual tech campus things. Cafe is cute with a pop-up shop inside and all the food is reasonably priced. Service is quick and they give you a pager to pick up your food later. Seating can get hard to find, especially during lunch hours on weekends. The grilled cheese ($5) - Top Notch! Crunchy, cheese, well-toasted bread. Exactly what you'd want in a non-soggy grilled cheese at a great price. Tomato Soup ($5) - Paired perfectly with the grilled cheese and wasn't too salty. Only feedback was that it could have been a bit hotter (was more lukewarm). Butter Noodles ($3?) - Not that special, definitely not that warm at all and felt kinda cold / butter had coagulated so it felt like mostly eating empty carbs. There's quite a bit of selection, enough to keep your tummy happy if you're tired from walking the trails all around. There's lots of seating outside with covered shade. The quality of the food was okay. The sandwich was not made fresh... tasted like they just heated up a premade Reuben so the meat was tough to chew and the bread was overreacted. $9 Salad has no protein source. They do say it's served fresh but unfortunately not made fresh. Butter croissant was $4.50 and although it's as big as an 8inch plate, it was tasted like a regular croissant and unfortunately, no butter was provided. We also had asparagus soup. Total price for was everything was $34. There are some pretty cool art sculptures to check out. We came here on a Sunday morning and there was quite a few people but still some open tables. Staff was very friendly in taking our order. We waited about 20 minutes for our food which is longer than we expected but not the worse. The food is very reasonably priced and the drinks are definitely on the cheaper side but still delicious! For drinks, we got the drip coffee and basil strawberry lemonade. For food, we got the tomato soup, avocado sandwich, turkey club sandwich, and a blueberry muffin. Our total came out to $38.19 for all of the food and drinks. The sandwiches and soup were good, tasted fresh and the sandwich also came with half a pickle. We had high hopes for the blueberry muffin but it didn't have much flavor at all- not very sweet, it had the density of pound cake, and the crumble wasn't sweet and crumbly like we expected. Was so excited to see that a google visitor experience cafe had opened back in October 2023 and had to check it out! Upon arriving, I noticed that the workers were super attentive and kind. I loved the interior of the building and it was just astonishing how big it was! We decided to try some food from the cafe and I loved how they had sourced from local bakeries and cafes nearby. The food is also locally sourced and seasonal which is amazing! I can see that they're trying to withhold the idea of being more environmentally friendly. We ordered the popular kale salad, tomato soup, butternut squash soup, and a grilled cheese. I think the grilled cheese was the best I've ever had and the price was reasonable as well! Between the 2 soups, I liked the butternut squash one more since the tomato one was a bit too tangy for my taste. But the kale salad, oh my this really let me down. People were raving about how it was so good and for $10. It was SOUR. Like I love sour candies, passion fruit, and lemons but this was beyond sour. I couldn't even eat 3 bites without starting to feel a slight burn in my throat from the acidity. Luckily we got it switched to a Caesar instead which was much better but I noticed many people around us had also ordered the same salad and barely touched it. The Bay Area just got another look into the tech companies that surround us and I look forward to more events and opportunities to explore! Came an hour before they closed and honestly that's all you really need to visit everything they have to offer. Started at the Google Store to view their latest and greatest from watches and earbuds to the latest folding phone which you can purchase right on the spot. Along with exclusive Google merch. After that, you can walk next door to the cafe and grab a bite to eat. My girlfriend and I had a grilled cheese that was really gooey and had a soft crunch due to using local vendors. Also had a coffee called "The Engineer" and it was an interesting honey cold brew that had a weird after taste. (Wouldn't get it again) What was interesting too, they had cut up mini samples to pass out, we weren't sure if it was because it was close to closing time or they just had extra. We just thought it was a nice lil thing we experienced. Lastly we went to the Tiny Makers pop up and it featured a lot of local vendors who craft showing off what artist in the Bay Area has to offer. This was such a fun experience. We went on a community day so it was crazy. Tons of people, families, and kids. Kinda surprised at the high rating. But I only got drinks which three of the four were not good. Strawberry dragonfruit drink tasted like syrup. Vanilla latte iced was sour. To be fair, I did not know what I was expecting when I visited the Visitor Experience Center for the first time. I mean, how do you convey all the tech the Google has to offer? I guess I was expecting to be able to walk inside the enormous building that is the Gradient Canopy. In reality, there is just relatively small areas to visit/see. At the Google Store, it is interesting to see all of the products offered by the company. Plus, there are YouTube related merchadise (t-shirts, mugs, pens, etc.). If you are an Apple adopter, this is not the place for you! The Cafe @ Mountain View most likely gives the general public an idea of the types and quality of the food that the Googlers get to enjoy. While the pastries looked inviting , we were more focused on getting something substantial such as the salads and sandwiches. The indoor and outdoor seating is plentiful and gives one the option to bring your dog/pet to the area. The seasonal Autumn Panzanella Salad was tasty, filling, and healthy for the non-meat eaters. The Porchetta Sandwich definitely met my fix. While it is not on the same level as Roli Roti's at The Ferry Building, it is convenient as I do not have to drive up to The City. The pork was a bit overdone/tough and the cracklings were on the soggy side. I can pretty much get my fix any day of the week which is a good and bad thing. SO COOL!! A must visit when you come to Silicon Valley. This is part of the huge Google headquarters complex. There are several Google corporate buildings that you can walk around and look at. Parking is at the Ampitheater and then you cross the street to the Google Visitor Experience. Start here. It's the building with the overlapping triangle/pointy roof. Sort of looks like a metal tent. Here you will find the Google Store and Google cafe. There is free water and lemonade right outside the Google Store. You can buy cute souvenirs like stickers, T shirts, totebags. You can also look at Google electronics like phones, ear buds, etc. There are employees situated everywhere and eager to help guide you. It was open on Sunday too! read more

I was biking around shoreline park when I got hungry, and this place popped up when I searched for food. I never recalled Google having a visitor center, so I had to go check it out. Turns out that this visitor center opened very recently (October 2023)! While the visitor center looked quite intimidating on the outside, it gives a calm library-like feel on the inside. Google put all its tech devices for display inside the visitor center, and you can buy pretty cool Google merch too! Although the visitor center was really cool, I mainly came here for the food inside! When you order, you can see displays of the food on the counter to help you decide what you want. After you order, you go find a seat inside or outside, where the staff will deliver to food to you! There are plenty of seats inside and outside, and the service was nice and fast! Noogler: 5/10. I got it because of the name and I had clue what it was. Turns out it was just steamed milk with a bit a cinnamon, and it tasted alright. Brownie: 8/10. I got it because it looked really appetizing, and it didn't disappoint. It has a strong dark chocolate flavor and was pretty dense. A wonderful dessert. All Day Egg: 9/10. Although it is quite pricey for an egg sandwich, it was the best egg sandwich I had so far! First off, the bacon was very sweet, crunchy, and so good. The egg had a perfect running yolk and was cooked nicely. The bread, sauce and cheese ties up the sandwich well for a great experience. If this is what people working at Google get to eat everyday, I am envious of them haha. While I only visited this place for an hour, I highly recommend checking it out at least once, whether you're a local or a visitor. Everything is single floor space so easy to walk and navigate. The cafe is attached to the pop up shop as well as their huddle room. The huddle space is a space separated by game side and a table Side where you can work and eat. No eating allowed at the games table. Popup shop with cute. The cafe employees were so friendly, they had so many free samples of the baked goods. My son had a great time especially because it was his birthday. I also got the salted chocolate chip cookie which was nice and chewy inside, but I prefer my cookies sweeter. I'll admit it. I got suckered into coming to the equivalent of the Eiffel Tower of California. And on a Sunday afternoon, it might have been even busier than the Eiffel Tower. Unbelievably, the line for the actual store was egregious. I can't think of the last time I physically lined up to buy something. After walking around a little, we decided to get something at the cafe. After a short wait in line, we ordered at the counter. My friend ranked her drinks, the h-oat chocolate, and strawberry dragonfruit juice as good, but not great. She said no need to get them again. Autumn panzanella salad - This salad was a good deal for $10. It had squash, Brussel Sprouts, pomegranate seeds, cranberries, pine nuts, goat cheese, and a balsamic sort of dressing. I was impressed at the number of ingredients. The prices are shockingly reasonable. There is plenty of seating indoors and out. The drinks come pretty quickly, but the salad felt like it took a while - maybe 20 minutes. There were a few items sold out. They list where all the produce and items are sourced. Some of the pastries are from The Midwife and the Baker. Overall, my salad was good and well priced. The scenery outdoors is pleasant. This is a review of the Google Visitor Center as a whole, not just the cafe. Based on the website, we expected something with grandeur. The "Gradient Canopy" building itself is massive and beautiful to drive up to. To our surprise, hardly any of it was open to the public. Seems like a private conference center. We naively thought this was Google giving back to the community by opening a nice public space -- and expected more of a tech museum sort of feel, but nope! The only areas of interest open to guests were: 1. A tiny Google hardware store 2. The cafe (which is beautifully decorated with nice outdoor patio seating, but feels just like a Google employee cafe that you have to pay for) 3. A tiny pop-up shop featuring local artists 4. Outdoor sculpture area 5. Charleston park - which has nothing to do with the Gradient Canopy but is just across the street. An open patch of grass with a water feature 6. Android sculptures which the security guards encouraged us to visit even though it also had nothing to do with the Gradient Canopy, just regular fixtures of the Google campus If you know someone who works at Google you are much better off visiting them as a guest and touring the actual offices, which are much more interesting and Googly. This was a nice novel place for my toddler to walk around in, but not a destination worth making a dedicated trip to read more

Was excited to come here because the food looks pretty healthy yet nourishing! Overall, nothing stood out too much, but they were satisfying. Autumn panzanella salad - Really love the use of dino kale and the roasted veggies, but the dressing was maybe a tiny bit too sour for my taste. Buttered noodles - Honestly kind of bland. Could use more salt. Artichoke sandwich - The flavors worked really well with each other, and it's a great vegetarian option! The pickle it came with was really crunchy and added great texture. Tomato focaccia (not pictured) - Nice and fluffy. Since it's pretty cheap, it's a nice little snack, and the tomatoes are pretty sweet. Price - surprisingly affordable. When you dine in, you get a number card and sit down, and then the servers have to go hunt you down somewhere in the wide dining area and give you your food. So nice that we've recently visited twice :). Came in on a Friday afternoon and then a Saturday for lunch. It was a little busy on the Friday, but a little less so on the weekend. A lot of art installations nearby, so many folks were taking pictures and walking around before and after their meals. It has a completely separate entrance from the Google store, but is right next door. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Menu is clearly listed on the wall, and I LOVE how they have a display case so you can see what the dishes look like/sizes of the portions. They have tons of local businesses they feature (shoutout to the midwife and the baker!), and the prices were pretty good. We ordered the roasted carrot and potato salad (dressing was amazing and it was topped with delicious crunchiest), the artichoke sandwich (so so good), ham and cheese baguette, buttered noodles, and red velvet cupcake (honestly one of the best we've ever had - the frosting was amazing). For drinks we got the hot chocolate and iced mocha. Both were decent. My biggest takeaway was how phenomenal the service was. Everyone was so helpful, and attentive. They have a ton of seating inside and outside, and folks were so good at making sure you got everything in your order. We came back with my MIL and SIL, and I'm looking forward to visiting with my parents (thanks to all the vegetarian options). read more

Really superb menu options and my goodness the flavors were perfection. I loved how while the gluten free labeling isn't perfect, the staff were very knowledgeable and pulled out a binder to go over allergy concerns ahead of ordering. The ambiance of course is incredible cause the google experience is just a wonderful place to hang out in general, but man, I would drive across town to eat here again. While I didn't use the WiFi the 5G is incredibly fast just FYI. Nice open space to stroll around after lunch. I brought the kids here to exposed them to the tech industry. This is a nice Google campus with modern art displays(see pictures) and most importantly, kids had fun riding the Google bikes around the campus. You get Kids may not be tall enough to reach the paddles. They only have adult bikes. Google stores offered an abundance of their Google lines of products. Google store is very modern looking. It's right next to the Google cafe. We didn't try anything there since we had lunch before coming. Maybe next time. Definitely a great place to enough some fresh air and enjoy the scenery. read more

In terms of the big tech companies in the Bay Area, the Google Visitor Experience has been the most welcoming by far. One of my friends came up from SoCal to visit recently, and we've been wanting to check out the new visitor experience at Google. So we did just that on a Saturday afternoon. I knew there was a parking lot somewhere, but we ended up doing street parking across the street on Joaquin Rd. When walking up to the building, you can't help but admire its architecture and all the sculptures around the building. The interior is pretty spacious. Most of it is dedicated to Google products, similar to the layout of an Apple store. In addition to Google electronics, you can purchase Google or Youtube branded clothing, journals, bags, and more! Google employees (full time employee, sorry contractors) with their badge get 20% off their merch purchase! We then check out the cafe next door. We had lunch prior to arriving, so we opted for a cookie and a drink to share. The cookie surprised us - we thought it was going to be a crunchy cookie, but it ended up being a soft, gooey cookie. Super yummy, but I wish it was a little bigger! The Strawberry Dragonfruit drink was much better than I thought! Not too sweet but full of flavor. I would come back again just for more of that drink because it was surprisingly delicious! Afterwards, we explored the park next door and the main Google campus using the Google bikes. Technically you're not allowed to use them unless you're with an employee (which we were because my boyfriend who works for Youtube was with us), but the staff who were assisting visitors didn't seem to mind at all whether we had an employee with us or not. If you're able to borrow the Google bikes, I strongly recommend it as it was a great way to explore the entire campus, given how vast the whole Google campus is. I was in Mountain View for work. I ran 3miles at the marina next door. After I drove over to the google store parking area. Not a bad place. I would take friends/family here as a tour of south bay. The workers recommended steak sandwich. The drink barista workers need to work on their customer service rude and gave me attitude. I came over to pickup my drink and they said someone took it. I said I didn't pick it up. They had to pour mine. After I went on the google store and purchased one kid shirt for my daughter and one adult size for myself. read more

Such a great place to be! They gave great selection of sandwiches, bakeries, cakes, cones, salads and etc. the customer service was very fast, efficient and friendly. The ambiance was googley!!!! Lol it was great cafe/ restaurant with small market (The village market) and kids ground with fun games that the kids were able to get busy! The village market was very unique and beautiful! It seems that this market support local arts, entrepreneurs and small businesses! It was fun to shop from here and knowing that im helping local businesses! I ordered smoked salmon tartine and it was delicious. I had a bite of ham and cheese and baguette and it was very delicious! Overall experience was great and i suggest everyone to stop by here! read more

Ambience is really great, right in the heart of Google Mountain view campus. It is open to public. There is a Google store, some arr installations and pop-up store to hang out. Food is average, service is quick. Good stop for a quick grab, not full meal. read more

Overall 3.5 stars. Ambience is 4 stars, food 3 stars and service 4 stars. Nice high ceiling, bright, open space in the dining area. Big tables. Had the Turkish Eggs, Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup. Turkish Eggs had two poached eggs in cold yogurt with paprika butter with sprinkle of Rosemary and two half pieces of toast on the side. Nicely poached eggs with runny yolks and soft egg whites. First time having this dish so had nothing to compare it to but didn't really live up to the hype. It's just like eating eggs with yogurt and toast. Couldn't really taste any of the smokiness and butter my cream flavor from the paprika butter. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup on the other hand, was great. Really good tomato soup. Soup was closer to Vodka pasta sauce than tomato soup so it's pretty good and not the usual sour tomatoey flavor. It's more creamy and it's more sweet than sour. Grilled cheese was toasty outside and gooey cheesy salty inside. So went perfect with their tomato soup. Also got four cupcakes: red velvet, vanilla, and blueberry. And chocolate chip cookie and brownie. Cupcakes were ok. Brownie was the best, chocolatey, not dry, thick, not overly sweet. Staff were nice and friendly, ready to help. read more

My 99 year old Mom had wanted to visit Google for a couple of years, so for her birthday, we took her to the Visitor Center for lunch. We sat on the patio, and enjoyed coffees, should, salads and sandwiches, and for dessert had luscious cupcakes, Google's staff was fabulous, from the attendant at the drop off who cheerfully greeted my Mom and wished her a happy birthday, to the welcomers on the patio who helped secure a table and get us set up, to the Cafe staff who helped me set up a memorable day for my mom, complete with a birthday candle for her cupcake. A joyous, casual place to gather, highly recommend. Thank you, Google! read more

The drink was absolutely refreshing and delicious. But remember to order for here instead of to go, the portion difference is crazy. The inside of the cafe is very cute and aesthetic and the servers are friendly and nice. read more

Nice to check out if you're close by. We came to pick up something at the Google Store and didn't know they had a cafe/hang out spot attached. The cafe is decently priced, especially for the Bay Area. I enjoyed the salted chocolate chip cookie. There's a game area that's great for kids, as well as a pop up shop selling things from local artists. They hold events here at the "huddle" as well. Parking was unclear as there's no clear signage, but it's across the street. We had to ask an attendant before we found it. read more
