They also have a great beer selection and really good beer prices for the South Bay area. Today, I have to give the food mixed reviews. I enjoyed my knockwurst with grilled onions, sauerkraut and brown mustard. The sausage was tasty and the bun was soft and sweet. The krinkle fries held the ketchup well but were otherwise a little dull. I had to add salt. My wife felt the same about her fries and also the steak wrap. She said the steak was tender but not super flavorful, nor did the tzaziki have much flavor. The baklava was sweet and crunchy, but again the dough could have had more flavor. A lots of authentic Mediterranean & German bakeries to choose from. We tried various baklava & really think it has great texture and not too sweet. My veal jager schnitzel came with large portion & tasty. The mushroom topping was crunchy & not overcook. The sauce is well blended. The crispy and tasty fried veal really complement the whole dishes esp. when you paired with some German beer. I also like the dolma, hummus & babaghanoush. They are great appetizer. Located right at almost the end of Castro Street by the train station is this Turkish gem. Whenever you are in Mountain View and you want to try some real nice middle eastern food with more of a Turkish spin I would make this your stop. Whatever it is that you like they have it. Along with beers for you to savor during your meal or their "Happy Hour", they also have coffee and desserts. WE recently made a stop here for lunch and I had the Falafel wrap and it was great. It was the perfect lunch for that day. It most certainly has its own twist and was a bit different than what I have had before, but I loved it. The staff are great and friendly. Searching for a place to grab a quick meal, my party and I stumbled upon this restaurant. I found the environment very pleasant and the food to be alright. The prices were very fair, but I felt the food was just average overall. My party did not like their items and felt that what they paid for was not met. They have a great selection of alcohol but the advice they gave to my wife on how to pour her beer backfired as she ended up drinking 40% foam. I think the vibes were really cool, but something threw me off. There was an obvious greek theme they were going with but i felt like it was also pretty german due to the food and beer. I like the desserts. My favorite one has to be the napoleon because the taste was creamy and sweet but not enough for me to get tired of the flavor. The tiramisu tasted average but a little more on the sweeter side. My friends got beers and they liked the hibiscus one and a cider that i forgot the name of. The man at the cashier tried to advertise himself verbally to me and it was very gross. Not ok, at all. That's never what I am looking for at cafes & bakeries. Employees should never be treating customers that way. That's harassment, period. When I called him out on his crass behavior, he denied it and started to attack me verbally. He sounded deranged. It was pretty scary, as he approached me after I left the cashier area. The other customers-- including a family-- at the caffe noticed his alarming behavior. I felt very disgusted at his behavior and left without buying anything. This place is a decent place to gather with a big group. They have both QR code and counter ordering, which makes it easy to have separate checks and manage people showing up at different times. Also, their patio (on the side facing the Caltrain station) has plenty of tables with bench seating. Since the patio tables are pretty close together, it's easy to spread a group across a few of them, though it makes getting out a little hard for folks in the middle of the bench. But, the food is nothing special. The quantities are okay for the price, but the flavors aren't that pronounced. Solid first visit to Olympus. They have 15+ German originals on tap, though they were a bit light on the stout/porter selection (which I was surprised by during the January/February timing). Staff was very friendly and let us try out several options before deciding on a few beers. Would definitely recommend their Happy Hour, which I believe is daily from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Anytime you can grab a nice German pint for ~$5-6, it's worth an end of day walk or co-working space for finishing up work. Would like to come back and visit again to try a few of their food menu options! Their location is on the edge of the train tracks / bus route, so it can get a bit loud at times if you're sitting outside. Overall, nice to see that there's a spot with plenty of available parking nearby. read more

We do regret ordering the Blueberry Pancakes though. The blueberry flavor was lacking and we were expecting more blueberries in it. The rest of the food did make up for it though! My partner loved her Chicken Wrap! She said it made up for the pancakes! And the fries were so delicious! I couldn't stop eating off of her plate. I also love how they give you ketchup, ranch, and hummus with the order. With the Nutella Texas French Toast I do wish that the pieces were thicker and there were more strawberries. Olympus really delivered a fantastic experience! We ordered a mix of dishes including the hummus & pita, chicken sandwich, schnitzel plate, and tres leches--and every bite was spot on. The schnitzel plate was crispy and flavorful, and the tres leches dessert was hands down my favorite--light, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending. The outdoor bar had a relaxed, inviting vibe, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate a special request for caramelized onions with the schnitzel, which honestly took the dish to the next level. Stopped by after dinner for some coffee and dessert. The desserts all looked and sounded great, I would've wanted to try more if we weren't all so full. It was really cozy and the heating allowed us to stay outside. But the food was not great. We were a large group of people so we ordered different types of desserts and tea and hot chocolate. The tea wasn't bad but the hot chocolate was way too sweet. Nobody could eat the desserts because they were very sweet, old, and not tasty at all. This is why I am giving three stars. Swung by for the first time in a while for brunch on a Sunday and it looks like the Turkish cafe has combined with a bit of a German pub. Fear not, they still have all the delicious options from before. There is plenty of outdoor seating and you can order at your table via QR code or at the counter where they'll hand you a number. I genuinely enjoy the breakfast options here, but some of the items can lean into being rather pricey for what they are. I brought home some desserts as well; each one will probably drop you about 7 bucks, which is about what you would expect if you were picking something up from a boutique store. Highly recommend as they are delectable! Turkish Breakfast (2.75/5): Ultimately, all this is referring to is slices of sausages, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheese served with a boiled egg, two small pastries, and some honey. Everything on the plate was quite fresh and high quality, but realistically speaking, I just can't justify this being nearly 18 dollars. Shakshuka Breakfast (5/5): Came out piping hot on a cast iron and was so, so flavorful with the eggs cooked perfectly having that runny yolk. The dish comes with thick, dimpled Turkish bread as a carby vessel to soak up all that deliciousness. Creme Brulee Cheesecake (4.25/5): A tad too sweet for me, but flecks of vanilla bean runs through the entire slice, which is delightful. The soft, creamy texture only adds to the feeling of luxury with this dessert. Pistachio and Ricotta Cake (4.25/5): The rich creaminess of the ricotta paired with the pistachio mousse is perfect, especially when you get an edge bite with bits of crunchy pistachios, it adds that textural contrast you're looking for. Some items I didn't get this time, but would still heavily recommend would be their Turkish tea and rice pudding; unique and delightful! Very cute outdoor seating area! I came here for after work drinks with coworkers, and overall it was a good experience. They have a large selection of beers, but unfortunately only one type of cider. However, they also serve wine if you're not a big beer drinker, and their house cabernet wasn't bad at all. We ordered the Feta Fries which were cooked very well, but had a lot more garlic than feta. This place is more like Mediterranean food than Greek food as yelp suggested. We ordered chicken souvlaki & kofte kebab to go. The chicken in chicken souvlaki was tender & cooked perfectly but it was too salty for me. They also only gave small amount of rice. The hummus that comes with it was delicious. Went there with a bunch of friends for a late evening grub. The place looked lively and there was a bit of a wait before we got to order our food. It was very pleasing to see them offering board games that you could enjoy while having your meals. We ordered a bunch of items namely, three Greek salads ( 1 of them was modified ), chicken and lamb souvlaki plates, salmon plate, veggie sandwich with fries , Tiramisu, Napoleon and a Carrot cake slice. The good quality could be between a 3.5 and 4 as some parts of the meat were not cooked well while the desert items were great. The lamb was a bit hard to chew on and had that smell in it that was not taken care of. Salmon plate was great and I ended up eating the side Pita bread with a couple of sauces that came along with the salmon plate. The chicken plate and the burger came out ok to good while the salads were good.
