Went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. Wasn't too busy. They have a good menu. We got pretty simple breakfast, but it was all good quality and quantity. Service was really good, they even brought our pup water. There was plenty of seating outside and the restrooms were clean. Would definitely recommend and would go back for lunch. read more

Ehh... Nothing special about this place. In fact, makes me question the validity of the Yelp reviews and how this spot managed to get above average. The food was bland and service was even weaker. We came here on a Sunday during brunch hours, I got a crab Benedict with a side of hash browns while my husband got a burger. Unless you like your food lacking flavor (I mean, there was not even a trace of salt or pepper), this spot is mediocre at best. I had to get the attention of four different employee just to get ketchup and a utensil. And the girl working the register was real immature to be servicing the front - kept laughing at patrons for no apparent reason while seeming confused on how to take payments (scratches head w/confused look on my face). After being seated, no one came to our table for a solid 20 minutes. We had to ask someone to fund us a waiter, who then failed to bring us water when we asked (someone else had to). We also had to ask multiple times to get our other drinks. Our waiter only stopped by very infrequently. I ordered the vegan tofu scramble, which was decent, but they gave me flour tortillas instead of corn, which is not good for a gluten free gal. I've been eating here from time to time over the past ten-plus years, it's my go-to breakfast place in Smell Segundo. The service is fast and friendly, and they haven't gotten an order wrong for me. The food is basic, but very, very good, and always hits the spot. It packs out on weekends, so be prepared for a wait. When it's crowded, the room does get loud. The counter is a mess, because there are too many seats crowded into a too-small space, but the tables are perfect for up to four persons at a time. There is one big group table. I like this place - it has a very chill, cozy beach vibe. I'd recommend coming here for a casual brunch or lunch. I ordered the carnitas breakfast tacos but subbed out the pork for ground turkey. Really chill spot, went with my family after their flight in from the east coast. Nothing fancy but had plenty of options if you have indecisive folks with you (sorry in advance) but it was really easy to find. Was seated soon as we got inside and the greatest blessing PARKING WAS FREE! Because if you know anything about LA is parking is the absolute worst. So that was the gift in itself. Would I go back, for sure. Beach town vibes and the beach was right up the street so it was a win win. read more

First time dining at this location and we had a really great experience. First of all, we were lucky enough to have Beto as our server! He was the most friendliest and most respectful host we've encountered in a while. He was patient, checked in on us to make sure we have everything we needed and he was pleasant as well. Second, the ambiance was nice, love how the restaurant is bright and clean. We were seated right away on a Friday brunch time. Third, the food. I ordered the California omelette which had bacon and mushrooms. I thought the omelette was a bit dry but I still enjoyed my meal. Love the hash browns too! The fam got a skillet, cheeseburger, eggs and pancakes and my son got the jr. breakfast with egg whites, silver pancakes and bacon. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Free Parking is available either on the street or structure next to the restaurant. They are open until 2pm only so try to get there early. As much as we enjoyed the food, the service from Beto made it even more enjoyable! Definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend and I were very excited to finally try this spot, as I've driven by it a few times. We sat at the bar while waiting for our server, and I politely asked another nearby server if it was possible to put on the Dodgers game. He rudely responded, "Is it on Fox?" When I said I wasn't sure, he curtly replied, "Then no." This unfriendly exchange dampened our initial excitement, but I chose not to make a fuss and just said okay. The service overall was just okay. I would have appreciated if what I believe to be the manager had checked on us. Good service makes a huge difference, and unfortunately, this place lacks it. None of the servers, food runners, or bussers who came behind the bar smiled or acknowledged us, which I think is a major red flag, especially when sitting at the bar. Good Stuff is always a favorite. The food is always great. We recently took an out-of-town guest for a bite to eat. When we were initially seated we quickly realized that the level of noise inside the restaurant would be an issue for my husband. He has sensitive hearing. Our server was so kind to move us out to the sidewalk patio even though no one else was seated out there. He went out of his way to provide awesome service with a smile. We had a wonderful time.
