I once ate here a couple times a month. But with all the great new food in the Twin Cities, Good Earth has failed to keep up.

This was a pleasant surprise while visiting the area and suffering through a meal at Wahlburgers the day before. Service was on point and the food was healthy, interesting and very tasty. My husband loves a good burger and almost decided not to get one here after the terrible burger the day before, but he did and he was so happy. It was a delicious burger and our smoothies, soup and kids meals were all a huge hit too. We will definitely visit here again when we are in town! read more

My group was happy to find a fresh, healthy dining option. The waitress provided good service. We were disappointed they wouldn't let us sit outside as we'd been at a conference all week and stuffed in a small room with no windows for long days; they said it had rained earlier and they didn't want to re-open the patio area. Despite food allergies in our party, we were able to find food to accommodate everyone. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. read more

Good Earth is my go to place when I am in town. It is a rare combination of fresh, healthy, and delicious! I love the Thai Chicken Wrap, it is so good that I can't convince myself to try anything else when I am there, but I have heard the planet burger is very good as well. Service is always very friendly, and the inside is also very nice as well, with shops all around at the Galleria to explore. A must if you are looking for a healthy spot on a nice night out! read more

Sad. We've always enjoyed eating at Good Earth but our breakfast this morning was the worst. Service was terrible -- we finally had to ask for a server. Our experience went downhill when the food arrived. Absolutely tasteless. The mushroom omelet had no seasoning -- I added salt 3 times and it was still tasteless -- and was actually just a pile of soggy unseasoned mushrooms in flavorless eggs. The huevos rancheros came with a cold tortilla right out of the fridge and not warmed. Not one person asked us how we enjoyed our meal. Guessing they didn't really want to know. read more

Let's start with the pricing for drinks... $4.50 for brewed tea and $3.75 for a cup of coffee (that I had to ask for a refill for)? Really? I can go to any of the twin cities coffee shop and get a better value. Two of us ordered a cup of asparagus soup, very tasty for $4.75 each (reasonable). Then we shared an entree - thinking that for $16.95, one chicken curry would be a good amount of food (we weren't overly hungry for lunch). Well, the chicken curry arrived with a small cup of rice and the portion of curry would hardly feed a single person. The sauce was thin and not much flavor; I think there were about six or eight cubes of chicken. The vegetables were lacking. Again, this entree was for $16.95. The total bill came to $37.32. Nothing I hate more is to pay good money for bad, overprice food and drinks. Definitely will not go back as there are so many great restaurants in the Twin Cities area (even though this was the Galleria location - expectations were that this would be good.) read more

I know it's in the Galleria, but it's getting a little pricey. $3.75 for their tea! The usual free bread basket is no longer free and only $2, but still it all adds up. Lunch for 2 with tip - no dessert was almost $50. My husband has gotten their burrito for 35+ years, so we'll be back. Would like to see more veggie dishes like veggie bowls with ethnics flavors or similar. read more

Always amazing food! When I started my weight loss journey and searched for a place that had GOOD healthy foods that I could eat and I've been addicted sense! Me and my family go at leave one every week or two when it's nice out. We visited last Friday and it was amazing as usual! Our server (Brent? I believe his name was) was amazing and his customer service was impeccable! The only problem I have with this restaurant is the people who go to it. It's a lot of rich old white people who have an entitlement problem. But that isn't their fault, it's the area they're in. Other than that I will forever be visiting good earth! read more

Helpful staff and a lovely meal! My son has a gluten allergy and they accommodated! I had called in earlier in the day to make sure they could accommodate his needs and the woman on the phone was so helpful! I think her name was Allie or Ellie. Anyways 10/10 would recommend to a friend. read more

The meal was excellent however the service was horrible. We ordered the soup of the day but received a different type of soup. We tried it before we realized it was wrong and mid bite the waitress came over and took it out of my hand. She brought us back the original soup we ordered but she was very rude and would not let us keep the original soup. read more

Good Earth - we really, really want to like you. And in the past, we have! But what's up with the cold breakfasts, the slow service, and the generally mediocre food? Step it up! We want a good quality, healthy, natural restaurant, and we want you to stay in business. But you really need to get it together. Please do! read more

For some reason, this place reminded me a lot of Mill Valley Kitchen in SLP, from its menu, to its interior, to its clientele. I'm pretty sure I could plop this restaurant in the middle of San Ramon and it'd fit right at home. Good Earth is, after all, inside the Edina Galleria, where I tend to window shop more than actually shop (unless it's the occasional $5 random gadget from Crate and Barrel. Who needs more white sauce cups? I do!) Anyway, we went here for late-ish dinner on a Saturday, and was seated immediately. The ambiance is definitely more family-oriented versus first date, and there were plenty of large groups and families around us. I got their seasonal harvest wrap, which has preservative free turkey, wild rice, cranberry, sweet potato, and other things... Basically, thanksgiving in a wrap. Apparently, regulars wait all year for this. I gotta say, I wasn't that blown away. Yes, the server warned me that because the turkey was preservative-free that it would be a little chewier, but it wasn't the texture that did it for me. It was just kinda underwhelming. I probably would've been better off ordering another item. The squash soup was delicious though, perfectly squash-y and soul-warming. For dessert, I got the pumpkin cheesecake, just to round off the Fall-themed dinner this was becoming. That was actually incredibly delicious. I mean, you can't really go wrong with pumpkin and cream cheese. All in all, I wouldn't be opposed trying this place again, just wouldn't go out of my way to do so. read more

This mellow spot features some amazing breakfast food! The 10-grain hotcakes were absolutely delicious. They serve a completely natural lemonade sweetened with whole apples and no added sugar. The Good Earth teas originated from this line of restaurants and really still fit right in. I tried the Organic Shade-Grown coffee on my second visit and it was one of the best cups I've ever had. Contrary to another review, I was gladly offered as many refills on my coffee as I could take. If you're in the Edina area and looking for a breakfast treat, stop in here! read more

I was expecting this place to be great so I was very disappointed. The food was ok, but horrendously overpriced for the small portions. My almond tuna melt was served open face, which to me seemed to be code for "we are too cheap to actually give you 2 pieces of bread to make a whole sandwich." I don't plan to go back. read more

We go here at least a couple times per week for breakfast. We love the egg white omlettes - especially the Wild Mushroom omlette. Everthing always tastes fresh! read more

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat, decided to sit down as the restaurant part was empty. No host, stood up front while employees walked by and just looked at us, ok so we sat ourselves after 5 min thinking it was seat yourself. Didnt get greeted until I stood up and looked around for someone. So at this point we have been there about 15 min or so, no big deal a little annoyed. BUT then we order tea and 2 club sandwiches and a HALF hour later the sandwiches show up. Went in for a quick bite to eat and it took over an our to get out of there, mean while servers are talking about, wondering around in an empty restaurant seemingly trying not to serve anyone one with any sort of speed or care. Coming from someone who started as a server, I was so annoyed and astonished that I took it upon myself to actually write a review. Food took to long but was great as usual. (this was 4 oclock on a sunday) read more

We have been coming to The Good Earth for years!! The past two time the service has been awful and they charge you for EVERYTHING now! We were even charged for a side of cheese and when I asked for a to go cheese for my daughter who is a picky eater, they tried to take the one my daughter was eating! Not impressed! read more

Tasty food and vegan friendly! Our waiter Daniel went above and beyond providing excellent service.

Consistently excellent high-quality healthy food. The diverse menu has something for everyone. I've had the egg white basil omellette, thai peanut chicken wrap, hot veggie sandwich, and their monthly specials (great deal- $9.95 for a small 3 course menu). I've never been dissapointed with the quality or quantity. My husband loves their harvest wrap (turkey, sweet potatoes, wild rice)- yummy! And they even have healthier desert options- I love their sundaes with fat free frozen yogurt, berries, and mixed nuts. I love this place! Note: the Roseville location is a lot less crowded than the Edina location. read more

Great food but pour service, went there for my daughters birthday and we the waitress was really helpful but for sure you can see that they ware under staffed on a bissy Sunday brunch. We waited for 60m to get our food with a 2 year old. Not what I expected from a restaurant in Galleria. read more

45 minute wait not a great start. Menu looked great. My Porcupine Turkey sliders lacked flavor, but the flatbread pizza we ordered for the table and my toddler's dinner possibly the best I've had. Fresh pineapple, caramalized onions, and bacon a great sweet/savory tast. Roasted corn chowder fantastic. My husband ordered a chicken salad sandwich and clam chowder, soup good but bone found in chicken salad. We really should've complained but our waiter was rushing us out the door. I would still give their breakfast a try... but pretty disappointed that milk costed an additional $2.50 for kids... and the Kid's Menu started at $4.95! I would not consider that a kid friendly menu! Just an OK experience but has the potential to be great. read more

We did not actually get to taste the food. We were seated and ignored for 20 minutes. We had several wait staff pass us without making any eye contact. We finally got up and walked out. I don't beleieve they even knew we were there. Will not go back. There are too many other great restaurants to go to that want your service!!! read more

Amazing Lemonade, but the Good Earth Bean Burrito is not the best in the world though.

This is our default for when the wait at the Original Pancake House across 70th street is busy. And today being President's Day, we opted to come here instead of wait 40 minutes. But we waited 40 minutes for food here, too, and the experience was marginal at best. Lots of tables available, yet our server was nowhere to be found. The cost of coffee is not a lot different from a latte, and it took 10-15 minutes to get a latte. The food was lukewarm when it did arrive and the Huevos Rancheros turned out to be a breakfast burrito. And why the heck are bathrooms now unisex? Yuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!!!!!! The only unisex bathroom I want to use is the one in my own home. I expect more from a Parasole restaurant and will not be coming back - too many GOOD choices in Galleria. read more

Wayyyyy over priced... Decent food but apparently inflation hit this restaurant decades before everyone else... $3 regular (12oz) coffee with no free refills?! I'll go elsewhere. read more

Use to like this place until a mouse was freely running around the dinning room tonight. Yuck, disgusting! It was frantically running under random tables. I pointed it out to a nearby worker, who saw it to and didn't seem too concerned continuing to go about his job. read more

Our server was fine. Not the server who came over and talked to my husband and son. I know my kids were not sitting there like pretty dolls but neither were they so crazy that we deserved to be talked to impolitely. Come on what is this place? Its just another restaurant. NOT a kid friendly place. My husband and son said that their burgers were good but not better than Lion's Tap or The Red Cow (so I gave them 2 stars for that!). If you are a biracial family you won't like it there...and the ppl in the restaurant are typically homogenious. The menu is too long and thats a sign, they way too much stuff on their menu making it impossible to deliver dishes that are worthy of swooning over or writing about. Nothing great...just another wanna be ambiance. read more

This is one of the local go-to's for our family since we are mostly vegetarian. They have some good food options, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the kids like it. The sweet and spicy tea is the best. read more

I was under the false impression that "Good Earth" meant that I would not only get wholesome choices but that it was a place where when I ordered a breakfast with eggs I could choose eggs from "free range chickens". Sadly, these practices belie your "good Earth" theme. The waitress just informed me that ..." It's too expensive!" I used to recommend your restaurant to other thoughtful people like myself but today has changed this because your values are not worthy of consideration. My husband wishes to add..."the coffee was awful!" read more

The Good Earth is one of my favorite restaurants! Everything on the menu is good, but I especially like the vegetable saute with melted cheese on top. I love the Good Earth hot tea too! This is a great place to meet a friend for lunch. read more

Food was lukewarm and cold when we received it. Our service was slow, and server not around very much. I have been going to Good Earth in the Galleria for many years, and I have noticed the decline in service. I'm disappointed because their menu offerings are good. read more

This. Place. Rules. They have awesome food and tea! Take a wheatgrass shot with caution though. haha.

The good earth is a local resteurant. It has fabo ambiance, and is much to fancy for children. It is very expensive, which makes it classy. The food is far too healthy for children. You get a bowl of fruit. Don't eat the green melon in it. It is terrible. Order the mahi mahi. It is awful, but fun to say. read more

My entire family loves this restaurant. The food is high quality and healthy. They also cater to specific dietary needs. And they serve fruit to the kids while waiting for your meal. read more

Love this place. Not only easy to eat healthy here, but they make healthy very tasty! I love the Egg white tomato basil omelet. Flavorful and low cal. Add a shot of wheat grass and you feel good about yourself all day! Also, the spicy Good Earth brewed tea is poured in your cup like the coffee is and is amazing, hot or cold. read more

The restaurant says it closes at 9. At 8:50 I got there and wanted a shake to go. They said they shut the kitchen. Then I said I just wanted a shake and they said they can't use the ice cream machine anymore either. I am very disappointed because I work at a cafe and we can't shut down the kitchen or start cleaning anything until the time that we advertise that we are closing. Will not be coming back. read more

This is one of my go-to places. We just had another great brunch here and whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner - I can always have a good meal here. It's casual, in a nice mall, but the 5 stars are because I can always count on the menu to have some regular items, some seasonal items, but bottom line I can always find something healthy and fresh. Local is always a good idea as well! And they are wonderful about making sure there are gluten free offerings that are delicious, our server had a long list in her pocket when I asked. (I'm supposed to be gluten free but I often just pay the price for non gluten free if the preparation looks interesting and yummy. I have no will power when it comes to this.) 5 stars for making dining out easy for the health conscious. Not always so easy when you eat out a lot. This time we ordered the pumpkin pancakes - I would recommend heading there to try these before the season is over - they were remarkably good! The pork steam buns were a fun and tasty preparation. In the flat bun you usually see served with Peking Duck for example, but the Green Tea preparation of the pork was yummy and tender. I can't remember which salad we ordered! But I think I've tried every one on the menu - they're all good, all fresh, and we always order the one that seems to pair well with the entree coming. I didn't order wine, but usually have good luck with what they recommend for pairing. And their juice drinks are delicious. It should go without saying, but I will in case you don't know - the tea is yum! Service can be a little.....spacey.... but it's so friendly here I wouldn't complain about it. I think it just gets busy and the servers always seem to be trying to go out of their way to do a good job so they get super busy, but all good - this can be the sign of yummy things coming your way. read more

We hosted a party here and it turned out very well. Atmosphere and food satisfied a wide range of guests. Staff was very helpful in helping us organize although the room layout wasn't ideal. People had a great time and that's the main point. read more

Based on the menu, I thought this place was going to a really quirky fun place to eat. It is actually connected to the mall, and the interior essentially looks and feels like a Denny's or Perkins. My husband got the bean burrito which was more of an enchilada. It was fine - but easily could have been much better if we had gone to a Mexican restaurant. I got the vegan bahn mi - there is something wrong with food that they basically take a sandwich, remove the meat, and call it vegan. You can build a really fantastic vegan meal if you do it correctly but this was not done so. It was edible but that's about it. The bahn mi sauce completely soaked the tortilla wrap it came in, the portobello "bacon" was just sliced portobello mushroom (you can actually make "bacon" if you do it correctly"), and the salad dressing tasted like laundry detergent. Not to mention that for the qualify of the food, it was very overpriced (each of our mediocre meals was $13). The only plus side was our waitress was good, and the rest of the staff was friendly. Would not recommend and will not eat here again. read more

We just spent more than two agonizing hours at the Edina Good Earth. We arrived after the lunch rush, and it started out beautifully with some delicious soup and bread. We eagerly waited for the rest of our meal.....and we waited and waited and waited. We asked our waitress to check, and then we waited again for her to come back. Finally, she returned to tell us it would be out shortly, and we waited again. It wasn't a complicated order - chicken, spinach salad, stir fried vegetables, a shrimp tortilla. It finally arrived and it wasn't worth the wait. Rubbery chicken, stir fried vegetables that tastef canned, a so so salad. The shrimp was prepared well, to be perfectly fair. We did complain, and the waitress apologized profusely, although it felt insincere. We suspected that our order had been lost but no one would fess up. She said she would get the manager, and we waited another ten minutes for her. She apologized too, and comped the chicken, and offered us dessert. This was all well and good, and should have been enough, but we all left there just feeling like no one woulld truly acknowledge just what a sub par experience it was and how LONG we were there. It even took forever to pay our bill. We had watched several tables of people arrive, eat, and leave, and the servers were in the process of prepping the tables for dinner. Anyway, it was very disappointing. read more
