    Avo Toast
    Morgan W.

Visited after work with a friend for a healthy bite to eat. Ordered the Choco-Nuts Smoothie and Avo Toast. I loved the smoothie but the toast was just OK as it lacked flavor, still good though. The server working was super friendly and knowledgeable about the different juice offerings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a small shop so seating is limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If planning to visit later in the day make sure to check their hours as they are not open very late during dinner hours.

Passed by Extract Juicery after all the social media buzz recently from fellow Yelpers who attended a recent event there. Everyone had great remarks, so I had to give it a try! Staff members here are really patient! I had a 25% discount coupon and wanted to take advantage of that, so it took me a while to figure out what I wanted and never felt rushed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Solid petite juicery spot. Not a ton of seating but enough for a small crowd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tried their protein toast and it blew me away. Just the perfect of everything: avacado, eggs, chili flakes with a drizzle of what I believe is lemon and oil. The toast was perfectly toasted and overall it's the perfect snack. Washed it all down with a pitaya oatie smoothie and it was just the amount of blended goodness I needed for a midday pick-me-up. The beet-iful cold pressed juice was also a hit! Love when I can get my hands on a healthy juice with beets in there. I personally hate eating beets as I prefer drinking my veggies :) Had a sip of the mango and cream smoothie and loved it too!! There's a parking ramp near by which is super convenient. No hassle or having to pay for street parking. Be sure to take advantage of their pick up window for any on-the-go orders.

The owner was there when I first visited. She was so helpful in guiding me through the menu to choose something I would like. It was a high quality delicious drink. I'll definitely be back.

Recently my adult son, adult daughter and I gathered for a weekday breakfast at this trendy place. In my experience the descriptor "trendy" often has a somewhat negative connotation. It can be associated with long lines, high prices, harried staff and mediocre food. IMHO none of those things are associated with The Breakfast Club. We started by sharing an order of Monkey Bread [ (roughly a cinnamon/caramel dough baked in a bundt pan (or at least something round and hollow)], topped with icing and with sections that one may tear off). A bit messy but overall a great start to the day. My son and daughter both ordered more conventional breakfasts and both were very pleased with their choices. I went with the Senor Borracho which I found flavorful and delicious. I love a good Huevos Rancheros and the Borracho is an interesting twist on the classic dish. Service was excellent. The coffee was decent and mugs were kept full. Noise didn't seem problematic. Parking could be an issue at times.

So I had to check it out! I was a first timer and just went with a build your own bowl. It was so damn good. I'm going to be craving this spot again. Definitely will come back and search for other locations. I got half romaine half quinoa with black pepper chicken, cauli, roasted corn, raw cabbage, olives, roasted mushrooms, fresh jalapeños and 2 types of dressings on the side (just in case one wasn't good. lol). The jalapeño green goddess was amazing. But the ranch was so good too, lots of fresh dill in it. I ended up being fat and dumping both in my bowl. It made it so good to balance the quinoa. Idk if it's because I have been up since 4am and haven't eaten or that it was just perfection. But I am going to be dreaming about it all week. lol. I may have to hit them up again soon. Ps the fresh fruit teas are interesting and very low sugar. I was grateful they had sugar packs to add to your likeness. Usually I drink iced tea with no sugar but it tasted off to me without adding a packet. Ps the gal who helped me build my bowl was so patient and did a great job giving me input. Excellent service. Everything looked pretty clean. And they had fresh avocados not the nasty spread crap. Again, I loved it. Would be back. Update: literally the next day I ordered it again when I was in Duluth. lol same exact order. I'm obsessed. It doesn't look overly exciting but the flavors are there. Give it a whirl and thank me later. lol

The space itself is cute, and there's seating for small and medium-sized groups! Exposed brick and bright colors invite you in to this tropical bowl, smoothie, and coffee shop. The service was not great...we waited 45 minutes for two cortados, a smoothie, and a bagel. There was one small group in front of us, and they waited like 25 minutes for their products as well. The food and coffee were only okay...the bagel, cream cheese, and salmon was an extremely small serving for the price, the Blue Colada smoothie came out a bit gray in color which wasn't super appetizing, and the coffee was fairly standard. I was also disappointed that they didn't have dairy milk options for their smoothies...I'm not a soy or oat milk fan...and they definitely had dairy milk for the coffee, so why not allow that sub for the smoothie? Likely won't be returning, but I guess it's an okay spot if you are interested in a smoothie and have some time to chill! The Acai bowls did look solid!

I finally took a sample after hearing these people sing the praises of sea moss. About 2 hours later I had a stomach ache, was tired, was achy everywhere and it lasted through the next day. I looked up sea moss and found out that is where manufacturers get carrageenan, and makes people sick. Lots of people avoid this ingredient like the plague. It was a FAMINE food, like tree bark! If you take a sample of this I recommend you do it like the guy in Parks and Rec. Dump it in the trash and ask for another.
