Typically, at the second stage of preparation, staff confirm protein choice and ask about any modifications. On this occasion, that confirmation did not occur. While briefly distracted by a question, grilled chicken was added to the bowl. I always substitute blackened chicken. When I noticed the error, I politely asked if blackened chicken could simply be added and stated I would gladly pay any additional charge. Instead of resolving the request, the employee at the second station began lecturing me about how I "should have specified" the type of chicken. I responded calmly and said it was fine. However, she continued, adding that they "don't want food wasted." At that point, I clarified that it was food I was purchasing and therefore not her concern. Rather than de-escalating, she continued in a raised and condescending tone. The interaction felt unnecessary and disproportionate to what was a simple, easily correctable request. Even the employee at the register appeared visibly uncomfortable. What made this experience especially troubling was not the initial mistake , mistakes happen, but the public scolding that followed. Being reprimanded loudly over a minor request, felt humiliating and unwarranted. Customer service should prioritize resolution over reprimand. A calm clarification or simple solution would have sufficed. Despite the interaction, I still left a tip. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. This location has previously delivered excellent service, and I would like to see that standard upheld consistently for all patrons.

First, they do use Herbalife powders for the shakes and other items. Second, there are no nutritional facts posted online or in store which is not good for those counting calories or with any allergies or other dietary restrictions they need to look out for. However, I think an Herbalife smoothie is going to be better than fried chicken or a cheeseburger and fries in any healthy universe so whether I know what all that entails or not, the shake is the lesser evil. My main personal gripe is there are no visual representations of the menu items except from Instagram and that doesn't even cover a fraction of their extensive menu. Also, I was expecting my drink to be cute like all the pix I have seen, so was disappointed that my shake looked so basic. Not even chocolate on the inside of the cup along w toppings. The flavor was fine, a bit icy the first day, and I got about two servings from the regular size for my appetite. I wouldn't say it was anything special though.
