The image shows the exterior of The Dripping Root, a juice bar located in a brick building. The storefront features large glass windows with colorful, abstract decals including flowers, shapes, and a bottle graphic. The business name is displayed prominently on the brick facade. Two black benches are positioned outside on the sidewalk, and the scene includes a cloudy sky and nearby utility poles.

Cute spot. Woman-owned. They only have 2 or 3 acai bowl options but the one I tried was very good. The fruit was very fresh. She also sold fresh cold-pressed juices. I just don't recall if they were organic or not.

Such a cute, clean place with amazing owners. It was an inviting place to check out and love to have a spot for healthy snacks.

Smoothie Bowl - Two smoothie bowls with various toppings, including fruit, granola, and seeds, are positioned on a wooden table. The background features a colorful wall with abstract shapes and a quote that reads, "When you feel good, you glow, different." The setting appears to be a cafe or juice bar with a lively and artistic decor.

I wish I could give this place six stars! Made our way here en route to the airport one morning, and this was the PERFECT pre-flight stop! The second you walk in you can't help but be happy! Lovely plants, colorful murals, and the most friendly staff. Got to chat a bit with the owner and she is the sweetest human! The menu is really straightforward: fresh juices and smoothie bowls. So many yummy options, but I landed on the "pink" smoothie bowl. A fun blend of fruit create the smoothie base, topped with granola, chia pudding, fresh sliced fruit, and turmeric. Delicious to the last spoonful. Great value for the price! Can't wait to keep coming back to this spot and telling all of my friends about it!

Neon logo - A pink neon sign spelling "Dry" is mounted on a transparent backing on a wall. The sign is shaped like a water droplet. Several potted plants with green leaves are placed on a black surface below the sign, including a snake plant, a jade plant, and other leafy varieties. The setting appears to be indoors, with a neutral wall background.

Cute and cool little juice bar. I had the Citrus Immunity which packs a nice kick of ginger flavor. The smoothly bowl is a great way to start your day healthy. Quick service and enough room on a Saturday morning to grab a seat and enjoy!

A hand holds a clear plastic bowl filled with a smoothie topped with granola, blackberries, blueberries, and a strawberry. The background shows a window with curtains, some indoor plants, and a clothing rack. The setting appears to be indoors near a window with natural light.

First off I'm so happy to have a local black owned business in my neighborhood. So oroud. I stopped by this past week, and grabbed some juices and a smoothie bowl. All were deliscuous. The juices tasted so fresh and pure. I love Getting all this without all the hassle of juicing at home and the 2 hr clean up. I also love keeping up with my immune strength with access to all their goodies. I'll def be going back often..

Just one pretty corner and all of them are beautiful!

Each corner is its own beautiful something. From the bright vibrant colors, to the live plants, great smiles, awesome products, and good quality of merchandise. I can't wait to come back. I tried five different kinds and I loved them all.

A person is holding a bottle of green juice labeled 'Greentox' with ingredients including kale, apple, pineapple, celery, kiwi, cucumber, and lime, in front of a colorful wall. The wall features a motivational quote that reads, 'When you feel good, you glow different,' with bold black letters and abstract shapes in pink, orange, yellow, and green.

I had a great experience at Dripping Root! I had their Greentox juice ($10) and I believe their smoothie bowls are $12-14. The juice was very fresh and tasted so good! I know they also offer packages to purchase their juices. The flavor of the bowl was amazing! This place is such a treat if you're in the area. It's bright with beautiful artwork. The staff were friendly and helpful as well! You should be able to find parking on the street. Great location!

This mama daughter team are killing it with their gorgeous new juice bar. Limited hours Thursday to Sunday.....and things sell out quick!!!! So get here early! The açaí bowls are as delicious as they are creative. Definitely making this a weekend regular treat.

I love love loved this spot! Extremely cute, tons of plants and fun colors, and really delicious and nutritious. Affordable, too, for all the fresh fruits and veggies. Adorable merch. So many local artists and cool people involved in this.

    Juice and cute mural!

Such a cute place! Fresh juice and a bright atmosphere with super friendly staff - can't get much better. I got the sunshine and nipsey drip flavors - I love carrot juice so I preferred the sunshine flavor but they were both good!

Nipsey Drip fresh juice and a smoothie bowl - A smoothie bowl topped with granola, fresh blueberries, and banana slices is shown on a wooden table. A bottle of Nipsey Drip juice, labeled with flavors including passion fruit, guava, lemon, pineapple, and apple, is positioned next to the bowl. The background features a cafe interior with tables and chairs, illuminated by natural light.

This place is a gem! I visited for the first time week with my mother and we both tried the fresh juices. They were so flavorful and tasted very fresh. I also tried the smoothie bowl and it was really good. The owner and her mom were working and were friendly and the spot was clean and unique. Loved it and will be back!

Smoothie bowl - A man wearing glasses, a baseball cap, and a white hoodie is seated at a table in a cafe, smiling at the camera. In front of him is a clear plastic bowl filled with a layered smoothie bowl topped with granola and blueberries. The background includes a plant and a pink tiled wall, indicating an indoor setting.

It pains me to leave a review like this to a black owned business in Saint Paul, but I am severely…read moredisappointed in my experience today. If this company has cameras with audio, I would encourage them to listen back to order 6525 that was placed today, March 19th, 2026 around 5:45 PM. I came to support this establishment because I have yet to do so since the opening, and was excited to contribute to the success of a black owned business. The grounds were clean, and the music was a vibe. I placed my order at the Kiosk, and paid nearly $25 for a $9 juice and $10 smoothie with tax. Both products were wonderful. However, that's not my concern. The service was without a doubt unprofessional and uncomfortable. The man serving the community today began to chat with me, catching up because we were familiar with one another from my previous employer. After asking where I was working now, he began to solicit me with job opportunities within Life Juices and on his own personal product line, offering me $500 to assist him with marketing. (Mind you, this is very similar to the conversation we had when I met him the first time, he let me know then that he's co-owner of Life Juices and also offered me job opportunities.) When I declined, he asked why do "black women" act like this or that (I don't remember exactly what was said) At this point, I'm annoyed and offended. After I respectfully read him his rights, I told him I don't want him to make my juice and I'd like my money back. He randomly referred to himself as a Pharaoh and let me know that he would begin making my order. As I'm waiting for my order, two other patrons walk up to place an order. The man serving took this as an opportunity to poke fun at me with one of them, saying I don't recognize a Pharaoh when I see one, and dapping up the stud. Now, I did my best to be a good sport. They began to joke that I don't even know what Pharaoh means. I decide that I'm not going to pay attention anymore. As I bend down to give my three year old juice, the patron leaned over to ask "do you know what pharaoh mean" I responded and said "it means King". She then returned to the conversation with the man working discussing how women need to do better when they see a Pharaoh (that's just a paraphrase) Now if you get a chance to listen to the audio, I was referred to out of my name during this conversation (meaning the b word) and I'm trying to figure out how did we get here when I just came to order some juice that I didn't even want in the first place- just supporting a local business. SMH I'm so upset, honestly. The audacity of these people to refer to me out of my name in front of my three year old son was so distasteful. The audacity to include this random patron that I don't know to poke fun at any person, but me..? a person who just supported your establishment. All because I declined your advances? If you're reading this, shame on you. Do better.

Fantastic concept, poor area. I'm all for supporting local and will come back here as it is close…read moreproximity to my home. Contrary, the University area does not allow for a relaxing environment so this is a spot that I will forever grab and go. I appreciate what Life Juices is doing after revamping a run down Dairy Queen into a healthy storefront. Highlights include hand made items which take a little extra time so you know it's fresh, side patio with plants and small herb garden along with some colorful Adirondack chairs and unique items with a food menu in progress. Sadly, I had 1 homeless person ask me to buy items and it ruined the vibe. In addition, there were questionable activities happening while I awaited my order. Ordering is done on a kiosk with a vast array of choices from pressed juices to smoothie bowls to smoothies. I opted for a peanut butter protein shake with dates and it was so good! I also purchased 3 pressed juices. Each item is almost $10 and then there were $6 taxes? I thought food was tax free? Regardless, I'm finding out that eating healthy in general, is more expensive. I hope Life Juices is able to attract the population it wants as the area for me, is the wrong one but right product. I'll be back!

Ooh, I typically am in agreement with most Yelp reviews, but my experience was lacking today…read more Service: Meh. Certainly not bad, but nothing really all that good, either. I didn't see any "warm fuzzies" toward me or any of the later customers. Coffee: I calorie-splurged on a Peanut Butter Mocha. Frankly, it was overly sweet and there was little evidence of peanut butter. Definitely not one of the better mochas I've tried. Danish: I was disappointed not to see any breakfast items on the menu, so I ordered a danish from the limited selection (at 8:30 am on a Monday) and hoped for the best. Just then, a screen flashed up a "bacon breakfast waffle" for $5, so I went with that instead. Breakfast Sandwich: Ooh, not good. First, very small, and sufficiently microwaved from freezing that one half of it was hard as a rock. Definitely not worth $5, let alone $2. Very disappointing. Environs: Sort of a mid-sized cafe with perhaps 10 small tables. I scored one near a power outlet, but I couldn't figure out which WiFi was the correct one, and all of them were password-protected. The staff were busy, so I just went with my phone hot spot. Bathrooms and the tables were clean. Hopefully, my experience is an anomaly, but I'm not going to make the effort to find out.
