I love Jamba Juice, I really do, I could live off Jamba Juice! But this isn't Jamba Juice anymore. It's Jamba... I personally don't know if the rebranding is working for them, because they aren't cooler or hipper(not a real word) at all. Jamba is overpriced with random beverage combination. It was a really hot day, so I stopped by to get a smoothie to cool down with. Their smoothies are generally 8-10$, depending on size, but for what you get, I felt that this is on the more expensive side. I got the plant-based mango drink, which was nothing mind-blowing but as expected (though slightly more tangy/sour than I expected). There were also some mango chunks at the bottom, which showed they used real fruit but also that they could've done a better job with the blending. The amount you get can be a bit inconsistent though - I ordered a medium, and my smoothie was about half an inch below the cover, while the customer in front of me ordered a large and received a whole large and a nearly full small smoothie from the amount they made him. It was okay. I don't plan on coming back, unless it really is another hot day and there are no alternative options available. read more

Now the bad: The service here has been subpar numerous times. One time I had to remind the employees what I ordered about five minutes after I originally ordered it, even though it wasn't that busy. My usual pick me up spot to visit right after coming out of yoga class. I am never disappointed in this place. The store is clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly, believe they are local students of the nearby college campus. There is plenty of options to choose from and if you know a thing or two about Jamba Juice you will know that they have a secret menu, well guess not so secret anymore. Before venturing off or on your way over, take a look on your smartphone and do a little googling for their secret menu. There is a small outdoor seating section which tends to be a high pedestrian traffic area during the summertime. My four year old loves this place. Whenever we drive by Grand and Snelling the JAMBA JUICE yell always comes from the back seat. I like it a bunch too - expecially that they will pour off some of my order and put it in a kids sized cup at no extra charge. Nice. They offer all sorts of stuff, sweet grass (which I totally do not get) and oatmeal...which I have had a couple of mornings, and its oatmeal. You can't really rock out oatmeal. You can screw it up, and they do oatmeal fine. A trip to Jamba Juice is always accompanied by a trip to Breadsmith next door, which is also very cool. I can't figure out if smoothies are good for me or not. I hope they are. If they are not, don't tell me. The 4 year old does not care, she just loves them. So many things I love about this Jamba Juice, the first being that it's there! I love the smoothies - Pomegranite Paradise is my fav, and Orange Smoothie is my 12 year old's fav. I've tried others, but keep coming back to the Pom. But, there's more to this place than just the smoothies - the music is great and they are next door to Breadsmith and the new St. Paul Cheese Shop. Smoothies are always delicious, but im subtracting stars because the employees dont know whays in their food. No employee in the entire store, even with the aid of an allergen book, could tell us if there was dairy in their sherbert! They all just looked at us dumbfounded like we were supposed to solve their problem. At one point the employee said "sorry, we're not trained well enough". Today I made my first visit to Jamba juice, I was honestly disgusted by my visit. I ordered from Tasheena T. She took my money and completed the transaction at the register. But then, she turned around and started making my drink with out changing her gloves, during a pandemic! Even though, there was another employee standing there, who hadn't touched my money. Tasheena T. Proceeded to make my drink, I asked her to change her gloves after dealing with money. She then rudely yelled that she had changed her gloves, in response, I said I was watching the entire time and she hadn't changed them. She refused to change them and also refused to have the other employee make my drink. She finished making my drink, whole time I'm wondering how many peoples money/debit cards she come in contact with, wearing the same gloves. At this point, I didn't even want the drink anymore, I asked for a refund. She refused my refund and yelled at me to leave the store immediately..okay, that's fine..and I took the drink and threw it away and left. So basically I paid for an overpriced nothing. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and your store is spreading germs and employs unprofessional people who have no consideration of a simple request of changing gloves, while people are dying! I will be posting this same review to every place I can find to post it. You guys should just close until the pandemic has passed since, your store is NOT taking our countries current situation seriously. Honestly, even if there wasn't a pandemic, handling money and food without washing their hands or changing gloves is gross, money is covered in all kinds of awful things that could make anyone sick. read more
