Got the Matcha Chia Pudding. Healthy and delicious! I love matcha so this was great! The staff were super friendly and they have jars full of questions on the tables making it a fun date for my partner and I while we waited!

A couple of Yelp elite events have introduced me to acai bowls. I am now a huge fan. Last month, I learned about Nautical Bowls. I visited this one in Edina. Parking is interesting in this area. I dropped by after work. Street parking was packed on both sides. Add snowbanks to the equation and it was a test of patience. There is a small parking lot attached to this store. There were only six parking spots. I backed into one and then walked over. I had the friendliest woman welcome me into the store. She was great helping me out with a bowl that would suit my cravings. I wanted one with strawberries, coconut, and granola. It was tough selecting a bowl from the menu because they all sounded good. I ultimately ordered the big island bowl, which had blue majik, acai, pitaya, mango, coconut, vanilla chia, granola, strawberries, goji berries, and hemp Seeds. All bowls are plant-based. I love that they are dairy-free. Credit cards are accepted here. I tapped and was good. I then waited patiently as my bowl was being made. I got it to go, as I had a couple of places to visit before heading back to the hotel. There was a trivia jar on a table that was shaped like a surfboard. It was cool trying to answer questions as I waited for my bowl. The woman called out my name. My bowl was ready and was carefully sealed with a lid. I thanked her and happily walked out with my bowl. I visited a couple of stores before I headed back to my hotel room. My bowl was still cold and frozen by the time that I got there. Nice! I devoured my bowl in my hotel room. It was delicious. The flavours made my tastebuds happy and likely activated some that needed a nudge. The ingredients were bright and so fresh. I loved the crunch granola with the different fruit textures. Each scoop was different and enjoyable. Towards the end of my recent trip, I found out that there's a Nautical Bowl in Eagan. I feel the need to visit that location next, although this location wasn't far from where I typically stay when I'm in the Twin Cities. I'm a fan. I look forward to returning to have a healthy bowl without the guilt. (60)

I've never been one for Acai bowls but my goodness has this place and others really popped up all over the place. My daughter and her friends love them! So what mom would say no to fruits and things. I'll take what i can get! Champlin was cute, no wait and the staff was upbeat and friendly! Keep it up! I do wish there was a smoothie option like other acai places.

This new Nautical Bowls opened off of 50th and France, so naturally I HAD to treat myself after my workout! It was the perfect summer day for an açaí bowl. This is next to Sotarol and Agra Culture - there is off-street parking and a small parking lot. I was pumped to see they had outdoor seating available - a handful of tables and chairs, picnic blankets, chalk and hula hoops. How cute! The interior is a blast of vibrant color: from the beach scene on the walls to the fun surf board tables, everything feels clean, bright and fresh. And the menu is aesthetically pleasing too! There are several signature bowls to pick from, or you can build your own. The bowls are a bit steep at $7-10 for the smallest one, then roughly $12, and then $14-16 for the large. But when I saw the size of it I understood - they are pretty big! I went in with the notion that the small would be my meal. I picked the Surf Bowl, with açaí, coconut and cacao bases - and granola, banana, peanut butter, and hemp seeds as toppings. I asked to have blue majik instead of açaí as one of the bases, but you can't change out bases on the signature bowls unfortunately. The staff was super upbeat and friendly - I felt very welcomed! My bowl was ready really quickly even with a few people in front of me. I ate my bowl outside on their lawn, and it was so delicious! It was truly filling with the toppings and layered bases, and so refreshing for summer. For me, prices make this more of a meal than a snack, or great to share. Delicious!

I am a huge fan of açai bowls, and I have always wanted to try this place. It is quite a drive for me, but so worth it. The I got the bowl was peanut butter and it was delicious and savory. Cannot wait to return to have another one. The staff was very helpful and who doesn't love a clean space to eat.

If you've been to Nautical Bowls , you know they are the PLACE TO BE during Minnesota summers. Nautical bowls serves up some awesome açaí bowls with a huge variety of tasty & colorful bases, toppings, and fruits. NEW this summer are two fantastic and beautiful bases: Ube and blood orange. I got these two together with some mango base as well, and I think this combo just might be my new favorite! Definitely the best açaí place I've ever been to. These bowls are extremely tasty, have flavors for everyone, and are particularly refreshing on hot summer days, and the branding & people who work there are positive and helpful.

Nautical Bowls Dinkytown is offering a 5 for the price of 4 deal on all their smoothie bowl offerings!

Nautical Bowls in Dinkytown was such an awesome find!! Buy 4, get 1 free on all of their smoothie bowl offerings AND you get a complimentary cooler to carry them home in. INCREDIBLE! The staff was so kind and accommodating in answering questions. The atmosphere is pretty fun too. Lots of water/lake themed decor with a huge lake scene mural! Only downside is parking is a bit tricky for those traveling in cars.

Eliana S.

These bowls were delicious, although overpriced for the smallest portion size. I also appreciated the conversation starter questions on the tables! Wish there was some more decor or liveliness for the ambiance.

Giving 2 because I do enjoy the bases and think the flavors are very fresh and nice. But the past couple of times I've been have been super disappointing. For $16 for a medium, i think the açaí or whatever base should be more than half full. There also was so much granola and peanut butter on my bowl, it just overtook everything else. It's overpriced for what it is, especially when it's just full of the cheap filler toppings.

I live in California but this bowl rivals any bowl I've had out on the West Coast. Fresh ingredients and more options for a base than you will traditionally find. Excellent for a hot summer day!

I was delighted to see that they have a great selection of fish-free kimchis along with the traditional anchovy and shrimp containing kinds. I admired the gorgeous alpaca items--the hats are fun and they have some of the most gorgeous knots I've ever seen. Don't miss their mittens and gloves: warm, beautiful, and oh-so-functional (you can fold the tops off for extra dexterity!). I also went through the supplements and beauty section and bought some vitamins (I do love my vitamins) and a lip balm. I was born and raised for a bit in South Mpls and I find this area to be a bit challenging sometimes especially with them narrowing Lake Street down to single lanes. Makes me avoid the area as a whole. Definitely not MGM fault but generally unfortunate. You do have to pay for parking, ramp or metered. Upscale-ish grocery store in downtown. Their prices are somewhat accordingly; definitely higher…read morethan you'd see in Walmart. However because of this, they do have some nicer things than you can't get at Walmart, such as duck or goose, nice bakery items, prepared meals, craft sodas, etc. You'll pay a bit more on regular items as a result. Personally I was impressed how much stuff they crammed into this little corner store, as they have bath, kitchen, and decor items as well as cards and magazines upstairs. Now for the ugly. The bathroom is quite hidden in the basement, only accessible in the center "seating area" (meant to service the adjoined Caribou Coffee, most likely), and requires a key. The key can only be obtained from the cashier monitoring the self-checkout zone, and of course you will have to make a purchase to do so. Kindly, the employee working it allowed me the key before purchase, and I got some soda on my way out (scout's honor, right?). The bathroom was fairly immense (four stalls, three urinals) for a locked bathroom, lol. It was clean though. Another fair warning, there's a two hour limit in the parking lot, and furthermore you must remain on premises for those two hours or risk being towed (at least, that's what the sign says). So if you're hoping to park here, pop in for a quick purchase, and then spend time at shops elsewhere downtown, this spot isn't an option. I get it, I do, but it's still frustrating, especially on days where there's too much snow to parallel park elsewhere.

On our last day in Minneapolis I happen to notice that we'd be able to attend this Sunday event. Farmers Markets in California all range in size so I didn't really know what to expect for this one - holy cow! It was huge and lots of different local things. They had Minnesota grown produce, handmade products, fresh flowers, baked good and so much more. I was introduced to Ty's Gingseng (https://www.tysginseng.com/) who grows and sells 6 year old ginseng powder - which is very high quality. I also bought relish from Red Ron's as well as some sausage links from another vendor. To be honest I probably could have spent at least 1.5 hours here if I wanted to really study all the booths and check everything out, but we had brunch plans and needed to depart within 45 mins.
