Steve and Rakim were incredible. They were extremely Prompt, professional and efficient. This was our first time hiring movers and all our doubts are gone. We would be hiring them again on our next move, perhaps a house that we'll own. They event helped us with extra stuff since they finished under three hours. Kaci and I highly recommend them. Christina, the owner was very professional and accommodating when we spoke to her on the phone. We only gave them two days notice and she made it happen. We moved from a 1300 square ft home (20 years) into a 2700 sq ft home with stairs. Henry and his crew got the job done. They wrapped everything and were very careful. There were some scratches and missing screws but for the most part, we were very happy. Felt bad they missed the lakers game. read more

Yesterday we moved finally and we were very happy with the service Good Deeds provided. From the beginning with setting up all the details of the move with Danielle to changing the dates many times with Rodney who could not be more accommodating. We then had the great fortune to have the best two gentleman move us, Nigel and Cam were efficient, professional and extremely polite. With many corners to get up two floors they were confident that they would succeed...and succeed they did! In this time of Covid 19, Nigel and Cam we're prepared with face masks and gloves that made us comfortable. We are grateful to all of you, thank you for all that you did for us! read more

We had the best experience with good deeds! They are true professionals! We changed our move in date probably 10 times but they were kind and accommodating each time. We had a team of 5 guys that came to move the house and they were amazing! I was so worried about our new house and new carpet getting ruined with the movers but they took extra care and I couldn't find a single ding or dirty mark anywhere. We didn't realize how much stuff we had and we couldn't have done it without them, truly! They were extremely efficient. You won't be disappointed! read more

These guys were great. Great of communication, easy to book and punctual. Got the move done for a good price.

Sergey, Juan, and Curtis were amazing for our move. My husband and I are expecting a baby and really would not have been able to handle a whole move on our own, so they were such a life saver for us. They were super professional and kept in constant communication. Wrapped and protected all of our furniture. Also helped with assembling and disassembling all of our furniture, which was so helpful. Plus they worked super efficiently and quickly. Price was super reasonable also! Would definitely book with them again for our next move. read more

This moving company has been amazing all the way through. We found ourselves having to move unexpectedly and from the first phone call they were great to work with. They were great at communicating with me about all the cost included and Sal was so wonderful and called us early to arrange everything the day of so when they got here they were ready to move our things. My husband mainly interacted with Sal and the three other gentlemen who came but he made a point to tell me how awesome they were! They were on top of everything and made our move that much less stressful! Seriously recommend & they have great prices too. read more

We've used Good Deeds for 3 moves, and they're amazing. The movers are great - they'll pack everything that isn't packed already and handle all of your items with care. They moved our tvs and soundbars and remounted them in our new homes, and on this move they also moved our washer and dryer and reconnected them. The movers are great people, and wonderful to work with. Also, we found that they are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!! read more

I wanted to write a review about Jorge, Sean, and Korbin, along with the owner Robney. I recently used these guys for my move from La Mirada to Anaheim Hills. Everyone on this team was very professional and worked very hard. Its been 2 weeks since the move and I thought I had two of my speakers stolen as they were no where to be found. I called Robney the owner to voice my concern about the equipment and how I saw it getting loaded into the truck, but haven't seen it since. He assured me his guys were good guys and have been there for over 3 years and told me that if I still did not find them, he would take action as his company does not allow for theft or anything along those lines. I told him I would continue to look and luckily I did find these 2 speakers. I called back and informed him of the good news, and he was thrilled for me and did tell me that he is happy I did because he trusted me and if I felt that his company did lose or steal anything, then consequences would have been made. To me this showed a lot about the integrity of this business and customer service. Some companies would just deny the fact anything occurred or say we signed off on the waiver and that it wasn't their problem, but Robney didn't. I want to thank Jorge, Sean, and Korbin again for their hard work that day of my move, and apologize for the misunderstanding. We will be definitely referring this Company out and would highly recommend their services. read more

Good Deeds saved the day! I had originally planned to enlist the help of a couple of relatives but they became unavailable at the last minute. I didn't know what I was going to do. After reaching out to various other companies (who wanted to charge me up the wazoo for the last minute notification) I came across Rodney and his crew over at Good Deeds. Being that this was my first time using a moving service, I must admit that I was a bit nervous. I was moving from one upstairs apartment to another, about 15 miles away. I chose to move on a Friday so that I'd have the whole weekend to get everything moved in. The movers called to confirm my preferences and were very friendly and knowledgeable. From my research I found them to be quite reasonable as far as rates go. They made sure that my vanity mirror was wrapped and blanketed tightly and they even disassembled my bed in no time. I was probably being a little annoying. I kept walking around asking questions lol. Sorry guys! However, they made it a breeze and were very patient and courteous. Plus, it was particularly hot this day. I felt so bad for them lugging my stuff up and down all the stairs but I heard no complaints! They even gave me some helpful tips. I thouroughly checked that all the items were transported and handled safely and they were! I couldn't be more pleased and I'll be sure to contact Good Deeds should I need to move again. read more

This is a late post but it's been on my mind for a while. Like many other reviewers, I was extremely impressed with all the rave reviews Good Deeds has received. I had several good options for moving companies and ended up selecting Good Deeds, however my experience was not as expected. The Good: - Communications/Marketing is courteous, responsive and they always picked up the phone - Movers are professional, friendly, and - Robney came out to survey all my furniture and boxes to provide a more accurate estimate. He too was very amiable and - Pricing was competitive and they were willing to work my unique situation - They broke a few items, but that can happen and they were good about compensating me for it The Bad: - I had to follow-up with them way more times than necessary for them to send me a contract. Perhaps it has to do with the COVID-19 lockdowns, restricting how long they stay in the office combined with less staff and more customers, but a little better communication would have put me more at ease as I wasn't actually sure whether they were going to show up on the day of my move The Ugly: - Time went WAY over expectations. Robney, whom they said is the most accurate estimator, said my move would take about 2.5 hours, 3 hours max with 4 movers. If using 3 movers, he estimated it would add 1 to 1.5 hours, so I opted for that. My move ended up taking 6.5 hours and that was only to load PODS just outside the garage. At one point the lead foreman disappeared for half an hour. Ended up catching the dude dropping a deuce and chillin on his phone - The packing job was--shall we say--unconventional. It was creative, for sure. For example, they used our sofa cushions as padding for glass and fragile objects and used our leftover folded boxes to wrap our items like a taco - I had two 16 foot PODS, but they were very l extremely inefficiently packed. I saw large empty spaces left unused, which meant many items didn't fit. So we had to make multiple trips to move the rest of our items. All in all, I don't recommend Good Deeds. I still tipped them well because the guys worked hard but there are better options for moving companies. read more

Good Deeds helped me move from CA to TX and then again from FL back to CA. Both times they handled the move with care and professionalism. An update: I forgotten to show them the Yelp deal I bought. So when I contacted Rodney the day after our move, he guaranteed to mail a check to me. Stay clear of this business. I hired good deeds back in October to move a 3 bedroom home. All was great when scheduling and everything seemed very straight forward. There was going to be 4 professional movers, a truck, and equipment. When they arrived, they brought 1 professional mover, 3 random dudes with no moving experience and a translator. On the contract, they scratched off 4 moving and added 1 more to make it 5. That was. huge red flag and I should have listened to my gut and told them to leave. During the move, the 3 non professional workers were going extremely slow and were barely able to lift a simple box on their own. What should have been a 6 hour move ended up bing a 12 hour move and they were still unable to finish. By the end of the day, we ended up with a ton of boxes and stuff on our driveway and a ton of broken and disassembled furniture. read more

Excellent service!!! Steve, Kyle and Chris made my moving experience seamless! Would highly recommend!!

Moving? You need to know about Good Deeds Moving! This is one of the few times I've experienced a company that lives its name. They also live up to the name, "good dudes moving"! This was our crew today: Chicago, Chris, and Twan - can't forget Rodney, who set it up. We have worked with a heap of movers over the years and I will stake my reputation on these guys. They will do all my moves, my families' moves, and my friends' moves as long as I can help it. Everything was wrapped in blankets and clear wrap. It was all basically waterproof when they were done. They then took it all and professionally packed the truck and our gear made it to its destination unscathed. They couldn't be more courteous and respectful of our time and they hustled from sunup to sundown. By the way, Rodney is a man of his word and we never felt like we were taking a chance by choosing them based on their reviews. It's obvious from the tone of the few negative remarks we've seen here that some people just cannot and won't be pleased. That's life. We look forward to engaging with good deeds for all of our moving needs going forward. Thanks for the great experience, guys! read more

These guys were amazing. We made a 1 week reservation with no problem. The staff did a great job communicating our reservation and made last minute changes without issue. We got Steve, Joe and Andrew and hit the jackpot with them. Today was the hottest day of the year and they took it like champs. They showed up on time, and did a stunning job wrapping all of our furniture. I was never worried about anything getting damaged. During the move they were great to talk to, even sharing laughs. 5 stars doesnt due them justice. I would highly recommend this company. read more
