If you happen to be in the area or running errands on 99, like me, check this place out. Been here for around 3 years. Owner, Shawn( hope that's right, my apologies if not) , is a good guy. Greeted me as I walked in. I had already did my research so I was unusually quick with my order but still asked for a few seconds to make sure. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and upgraded to onion rings, which I'm very happy I did. I asked for ranch and blue cheese for dipping. Unfortunately no blue cheese but chose tartar as the second choice, (Thanks Dicks' lol). Also a fountain drink. I believe my order was just under 22$. Not bad. Place was empty save for Shawn and a cook who was working on an order, call in I presume. Anyway , got my drink, coke and found a spot towards the back. There is also a cooler with bottled drinks, which I usually get but I wanted to see how his fountain option was. Good balance of syrup to water and the carbonation was on point. Lots of seating, can accommodate a decent lunch crowd or dinner. Wood tables, and a long bench , which I chose. One t.v. Which was showing a tennis game but it was muted and music was playing. Not too loud. Good background noise. Shawn brought me my order. It was piping hot and looked great. I said thank you and he said it back, ahhahahaha. Good guy man. The food was delicious. On the menu it says gourmet burgers. It was a good, good burger. I would say far better than your drive thru burgers save for some classics but still above par. When I grabbed my drink I believe I saw my patty hit the grill. It was formed perfectly so I kinda assumed my thawed from a frozen stock but I didn't hold to anything. I wanted to wait till it was served. Great balance of flavor with all the toppings. Nothing stood out, in terms of over powering the coming together of everything. It tasted great. Good size. I'm a big guy and I felt I might not finish it towards the end but I managed hehehehehjeh. The onion rings were Great. Far better than a lot of other places, both drive thru and sit down. They were hot. They were crispy. The onions were juicy and succulent. Now, if the were frozen , which I don't know , he hit them out of the park. All in all , a good choice. I'll be back. Check this spot out.

First visit 6/12/21: Double Cheeseburger w/fries = $10.99 Bacon Burger w/fries = $9.29 Two milkshakes= $4.99 each Tasty, left full and satisfied (5 stars) Second visit 3/6/24: Cheeseburger w/fries = $13.25 Bacon Burger w/fries = $14.75 One milkshake = $6.75 Speaking only for myself, kind of meh, left full, probably won't return (3 stars) With tax & tip, this visit was a little over $44. Ouch. Talk about inflation! Enough said.

Good Burger is an understatement, definitely more of a great burger. I ordered a double patty and well, I could not fit the burger in my mouth despite my many attempts. You'd think this is a bad sign, but it shows that the burger without any extras is huge. Though pricey, all burgers come with fries and the fries are pretty good. They're not necessarily crispy, but they're flavorful for potatoes and have a slight exterior crisp. Price is comparable to higher end burger joints though, so no big complaints. Milkshakes on the other hand, were costly and very airy so the volume felt off. Flavorful though! California Burger - without the extra patty, this burger is already difficult to eat. I'd consider my bite size to be larger than average and this was a monster. Slightly sweet bun contrasting with the salty and savory ingredients release a ton of flavor. Bacon adds a smoky profile. Avocado is fatty and adds a creaminess. There's just a lot of deliciousness going on. Fries are also a great pair, soft enough to serve as a break from chewing the monstrous burger. Blueberry Shake - light blueberry flavor but insanely creamy. The flavor is unique enough where I would recommend it! I've had similar blueberry shakes and every time they're just so solid. No artificial taste, not super overwhelming, and very rich in flavor. Downside is the shake is fairly airy and while the volume fills up the cup, it's not very thick or dense. They provide a thin straw which makes the shake last longer, but other shakes are thicker. Strawberry Shake - again, airy shake that's not thick combined with a thin straw to give an illusion of a thick shake. It's strawberry, which is common and a good control group to test. Nothing spectacular, if looking for the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry, I'd guess elsewhere is better. Stick to the more unique flavors here.

This might have been the best bacon cheese burger I've ever had. Thinking of all the steak house and burger joints I go to, this has the freshest patty that's generous in size. Actually everything is generous here even in our times of shrinkflation. The lettuce was as much as a side salad and all very green, yet well proportioned with the rest of the sandwich. Fries were crispy and tasted like fresh cut potatoes. Onion rings tasted fresh as well both large crisp onions and batter. Only thing I was annoyed with was that the ranch was 50 cents and I didn't know I had to pay for it until after I hit the condiment bar. But if that was the only negative thing, you better bet your buns I'll be back soon. Oh and it was a little cold in there...but man, the food was amazing and the people were incredibly nice and helpful!

I am normally not a huge burger person but Good Burger's Cali Burger was sooo good!!! It was a huge portion but I ate it all really quickly. Rarely are there places where I think about their burgers but I am still thinking about their burger. It had a lot of flavor and it just tasted really delicious, there's some kind of special sauce maybe? Recommend calling ahead to place orders since they cook everything fresh. Their Oreo milkshake was super tasty and hit the spot also. I can't wait to go back!

Pretty good burgers most of the time. They seem to have lost the passion that was there when they first opened. My main problem is that my orders are often wrong. Some of the requested items don't make it to the burger or non ordered items like cheese wind up on it. Tried the chili. It was just bad. read more

Feels good to have a local spot i can get a big ass bacon cheeseburger, with some of the best fries you will have. the fries give off a double fried texture and have me salivating thinking about them! Their patties are very large, i went for a double cheese and could barely finish it. I am 6'2, 190 and wouldve been just fine with a small fry and a bacon cheeseburger. i will be back to try more of the menu but it feels good to buy local and support a family that is crafting some fire food. read more

Huge language barrier apparently exists here. here. Looked to have a take-out order for (1) double bacon cheeseburger, (1) double bacon cheeseburger w/onions & (1) california burger w/(3) orders of onion rings & an order of fries. Pretty much straight forward here....yet not the case, though. ~ No bacon on either of the two cheeseburgers ~ Received additional onions on both burgers. Not grilled or sauteed ~ No receipt in the bag Called them back & let them know my profound disappointment regarding the order. Typical stonewalling & more language issues ensued as the owner stated he couldn't recall the order from just 30-minutes beforehand.... End result? I feel sorry for this business owner as I will undoubtedly find another restaurant to spend my discretionary dollars at, but as for my wife....well, she will not be as hospitable & gracious within that close-knit community. Let me also add that this was her birthday dinner here. Her choice, but ultimately your loss, folks. read more

This was literally the worst fish and chips I've ever attempted to eat. It was inedible. I literally could not even chew the rock hard fish enough to be able to swallow it. Also I ordered chowder with my fish. Instead I got some kind of smelly brown mush. Chilli? I couldn't identify it. I will never eat here again. read more

We tried this place for the first time today. Burgers were quality, preparation was perfect. They had good variety of food choices. We had the Onion burger and the BBQ burger Both were very good. Staff was friendly and engaging, dining area was clean and comfortable, light music. This place was a nice surprise. read more

A restaurant review site named this one of the top ten places in Seattle for a burger. Their assessment was spot on! I ordered the "Classic". It was everything you'd want in a burger: crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, pickle, onion, a nice sauce, and perfectly seasoned patty on a sesame seed bun. Minor gripe-- the burger wasn't hot (maybe they were waiting for the fries to come up?). Speaking of fries, they were piping hot, seasoned well, nicely crusty on the outside, and pillowy soft in the middle. I'll definitely make a return trip and try one of their other burger options. Bonus: the service was very friendly. read more

With all the choices of burger joints in the vicinity, this burger joint stands out among them as the top tier burger of burger joints. Good Burger restaurant was very clean and inviting, the menu was easy to navigate and just the right amount of choices to choose from. I had the double bacon cheese burger with the works and fries and a coke for less than 20 dollars. The burger was huge and I'm going to be full for a long time, the fries were top notch too. This is a fairly new business in the area and MA and Pop stores need our business. I'm definitely coming back! read more

After much trial and error I found a really good veggie burger. They cook it until it's crispy on the outside and put lots of veggies in it. I am no fat vegan so I didn't even have cheese or their house sauce on it and it was still great. My husband had a hamburger and fries. He said the burger was really good. The fries are crisp and have an excellent seasoning on them. This restaurant is newly opened. I would recommend you stop by and give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. Oh, it looks like they make their milk shakes the old fashioned way. We saw several customers order them. read more

Excellent, big burgers! I like the classic cheeseburger- juicy tomatoes, pickles, and onions. Good, tangy sauce and nice, fluffy hamburger buns. Not a fan of the fries here as I don't like the double fried style fries (super crispy). But if you like those and good burgers, this place is for you! Those who are prone to heartburn....Pepto and sparkling water are your best friends after this meal. read more

I ordered here quite often. It's really hit or miss. Sometimes the fries are amazing, and sometimes the oil tastes old and they're darker. Just received an order, and got three side orders of bacon. All the bacon was burnt to a crisp. Just a waste of money. read more

3.5 stars. Called in an order for pick up yesterday. No one answered the first time and there is no option for confirmed adjustments online so after I called a second time and I got through no problem. Ordered a cheeseburger (with all the toppings - lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, house sauce) and my partner got a bacon burger (plain). The house sauce is essentially a thousand island dressing. The bacon on the burger was tasty and crispy...and apparently there was a lot of it. The patties seemed smashed, but the overall taste wasn't anything to write home for. Each burger comes with fries so that's a nice individual touch. The fries are crispy, but weirdly crispy. Not exactly fast food fry crispy, but more like overly cooked, yet not burnt crispy. If you want something pretty standard for that burger craving then this place is for you. Also the parking lot is kind of small. read more

Good burger is a great burger place. The restaurant is clean and updated. The fries have the fried bits on them which I love. We've also had the sweet potato fires which were yummy too. I chose the mushroom burger, my SO the bacon cheese and was happy. He is a burger fan, and this is one of the top on his list. The ratio of beef vs toppings was perfect! read more

Good burgers and value for your money. For about $8 you get a quick cooked fresh burger and fries. I've been twice since they opened and will likely go every other week because it is good food and nearby. Decent burger joint in Shoreline. Small, independent shop that does a good (had to say it) burger. Burger was well assembled with fresh veggies on a juicy patty. Bun was decent too. Meat needed a bit more seasoning and a special sauce would have smoothed out the flavor. Fries were crispy and tasty. Overall I would say this is similar to Burger King but with a more homey vibe and better fries. Good but not great. read more

Happily surprised to discover this great little place in my neighborhood. The Burger was well made and huge! Upgraded to Sweet Potato Fries and then added an order of onion rings. It was way too much food for one person but I'm glad I splurged because both the fries and onion rings were awesome! Real quality food worth the price. Definitely trying the Milkshakes next time! read more

My family tried this new restaurant for take out and we really enjoyed our food. The burgers are not small, nice charbroiled flavor and the toppings were fresh. The fries were great and even better that they're included in the price of the burger. Quick and friendly service, and the online ordering was very convenient. This place is awesome! I saw this and thought about the Nickelodean All That sketch from back in the day. Upon entering, it was really clean and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and quick. The food tastes great! I have not had a burger this good in a long time. Charbroiled patties with great toppings. They even use real cheese. Prices are really reasonable for this area as well. You have to try this place! read more

Got takeout tonight and it was a great experience - walked in at 730pm and it was 'busy' but not crazy busy. Staff was attentive and friendly and I placed my order. The energy was really good and the kitchen was bustling preparing orders for in-house dining, take-out, and pick-up. My order was ready in a very reasonable amount of time and it was super fresh. The burgers were outstanding (BBQ burger and a Gardenburger with cheese) as were the sides (fries and onion rings). Also, prices were reasonable. A major improvement over the previous burger place in this spot....super excited to have them in the neighborhood! read more

We live right up the street and since the food is so good, we try over and over and over again and it always the same experience: endlessly disappointing. Sitting there for 15 minutes with empty glasses and not a bartender in sight, or waiting 20 minutes in an empty restaurant only to finally order and have the server tell you they just sold out of what you wanted is not the way to run a restaurant. I'm only giving it two stars because the food is so good, but I'm afraid we've been disappointed one too many times. Until they can either hire staff or train their current staff on how to deal with their sections, we're out.

I recently dined at "Good Burger," and I must say it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome. The menu had a fantastic variety of options, and the food exceeded my expectations. The Cheese burger I ordered was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were incredible. There ware more than enough fries. My wife had a sweet potato fries and it was yummy and great alternative if you are sensitive to calories. It's really hit or miss at this place. Food is made very fast always under 10mins and solid burgers crispy fries. I have a few gripes with this place though, the fries have no seasoning whatsoever, their fish is sometimes really good, others really doughy and almost fake tasting. And this only happened once but I used my card to pay (normally cash) , and they tipped themselves? I wish I still had the receipt but order total was $28, receipt said 31 and some change with the extra charge on tip. They don't even have an option at the store I don't know how they did it.
