gotta love the name, and i agree! it's a new burger joint replacing Aurora Burger (who had the misfortune of opening smack in the middle of 2020). friendly counter help. the drive-through was steady. by the time i left, about 50% occupancy. the interior is clean and bright. the ladies room was spotless. i ordered the mushroom burger with only onion and house sauce and the homemade chili. a hefty 1/3 lb burger loaded with sliced mushroms in a good bun was delivered. when i say "good bun", i don't mean the currently popular brioche-style bun that is too much bread that ruin the beef patty to bun ratio. the bun held up to the 1/3 lb patty, the mushrooms, and the house special sauce. house special sauce: this was a very good sauce applied with a light touch so it did not make the bun soggy. it was not the thousand island type sauce or a ketchup-mayo-sriraccha sauce commonly presented as "house special sauce". i normally decline the special sauce, but i will keep this one. the chili was room temp. rather than asking for it to be warmed up i took it home and reheated there. the chili was GOOD! i might have been there too early for the chili pot to get up to temp. Good Burger will be a good stop on my way north during lunch time. read more

the burger was great needed a little more sauce but still great i'd give it a 4.5/5, the fries were pretty good 4/5, the shake was pretty unremarkable, had a strange texture to it both times i've been so 3/5. the health rating is only good so that's important to note. read more

It was definitely heartbreaking that Grinders closed, but Good Burger is a nice replacement. I had the Double Cheese Burger and it did not disappoint. It's a big burger! I normally don't like it when I feel like I'm going to have to have a shower because the burger is a mess, but I looked past that in this case. The whole space, including the bathrooms, are nice and clean. Fries are included in the price of the burger. Nice spot. I'll be back! read more

After moving up from Cali, I didn't have a go to burger place, but I think I found my spot!! The ingredients are fresh and classic burger was flavorful and delicious. Also loved the onion rings and fried calamari!! It's crispy on the outside, just the way I like it. My daughter couldn't stop drinking their milk shakes as well. Once you taste the burger, you know that you've found your burger joint. I visit every time I got a chance. Tried many different kinds and never disappointed. Ok food, but the prices are high and your order takes 3 times as long as they tell you. I placed an online order for pick up and they confirmed it would be ready in 15 minutes. After arriving 20 after I ordered, my food wasn't ready and they said they needed more time. While waiting, we watched two different people who went through the drive thru get their food before us. I understand being short staffed, but they're not handling customers in the right order. Additionally, 45 minutes after ordering, I still don't have my food. Then I got the food but my order was wrong. I ordered a "Classic Chicken Burger" and they made a Classic Burger. The way it was packaged, I had no way to know until I got home and I was too exhausted after that to bother going back. Will not return. read more

I stopped by Good Burger on a Saturday afternoon to grab a quick lunch and was very impressed and full by the end of my visit. The staff is so friendly and the food was amazing! The prices were also reasonable! I'm from the city of Seattle so finding a burger and fries for $13 was amazing. You get a basket of fries with your big burger and everything was cooked perfectly. I could tell they use fresh vegetables in the burger and the fries were so crispy and not oily. Will definitely be back with my husband and am excited to try other items on the menu :) read more

This is a hidden gem! Discovered this through Doordash and became my favorite burger place. The burgers are very tasty and they use only fresh vegetables. They always pack the orders with care and arrive fresh. The best part is the price starting at $9.49 for a huge burger with a generous portion of fries. I had the teriyaki chicken burger. It was fantastic! Fresh and well prepared. The portion was large. I ordered it with the sweet potato fries and couldn't finish it. My mom said she was really hungry. Since we had never been there before and weren't sure of the portion sizes, she asked for an extra patty. Not necessary! She couldn't finish hers, either. Definitely the best burgers nearby! The toppings are fresh and always really yummy. Always happy to get burgers here. Good menu options, friendly employees, quick service. Delicious, filling, very satisfying burger and fries at a great price. One of the better burgers I've had in a long time, and I'll definitely be back soon for another. We also had chocolate milkshake and chocolate malt; both were fantastic, nice and cold, creamy, thick shakes! Ordered online through their website and it was easy to use. Food was ready in 10 minutes. When we arrived, we were happy to see that all staff were fully masked, our food was hot and ready to go, and shakes were stored in the freezer to stay chilled. Burger is Ok, but the Fish and Shrimp just blew me out. If you go to Cash and Carry now it's called Chef's Store. You will see those Calamari Strips and Breaded Shrimp. I was expecting a Home Made Calamari and Shrimp. Better by my own and Cook it at Home. I can save and get more. Fries too, expecting a Fresh one. OK, but not great. Maybe we came on an off day based on other reviews. I had the seafood combo. The clam strips were great and fries were tasty. The servings of fish were huge, but so dry and flavorless that I didn't eat them. I ate one bit of shrimp but the texture didn't seem right so I didn't eat the rest. My husband got a bacon burger with two patties and was impressed with the size of the patties. He though they tasted frozen though, which is a bummer. The bacon looked like the pre-cooked, very thin pieces you buy at the grocery store, which was disappointing. Service was very friendly and food (ordered to-go) came out piping hot and very quick. My previous experiences with Good Burger has been mostly positive. Their burgers were great, but the wait time was typically over 15 to 20 minute wait each time. However, today, I ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries and waited inside for over 45 minutes before I finally went to the counter and asked for a refund. I asked the guy working the front what the hold up was, and he told me there were several online orders. I then asked to speak with the manager and he told me the manager would be in sometime next Tuesday the following week. Very frustrating situation all around. Good burger but be prepared to wait an hour or so for it. They prioritize online orders over the people who are dining in, despite the fact that they can advise doordash/uber of the estimated wait time. read more

I stopped in for lunch intending to have a beef burger. To my surprise they have a cod fish burger on the menu. Fried fish burgers are one of my favorites so I had to try it. Yeah, it's a good burger. This ain't no McD's fish sami. I will be back to try the rest. PS nice place too. read more

Been here 3 times now. Burgers have always been really good. Not mind blowing, but solidly good. Big, a little sloppy, didn't cut any corners. However, and I'm not sure if they need to change the oil or I got a bad batch, but the fried on the 3rd trip tasted burnt. Normally, their friend stuff is seasoned well and crispy. These fries, on the 3rd trip, were crispy but barely and seasoning and simply tasted burnt. ‍ We will definitely be back but hopefully they read their reviews and hopefully I just got a bad batch of fries. read more

We had the fish and the cheeseburger. Both were well made, and we found the fries perfectly done. Crispy outside and soft inside. The only thing we would fault is the tartar sauce. What's provided is the sweet variety, not the piquant NW style. read more

On a cold or wet day, though, there are a couple dozen tables inside, and one of them has a firepit in it. You walk up a ramp from a busy street, and inside you see old dock pilings and ship rope cordoning off the upper bar from the main dining area. Kids are welcome, at least part of the day. We rolled in for a late lunch, and found a HH menu on the table. Perfect timing! 25% off drinks and apps. Our server was friendly, knew the menu cold, and had everything written down right away. They clearly know what they're doing here. We had waters before we knew it, and cocktails not long after. I got the southwest burger, which is messy af, but worth it. Good flavor all the way through, cooked perfectly medium. She had the seafood basket with tots, which was all also exactly at temp. The chunk of whitefish was steaming hot, really juicy. Scallops were legit. Big props to them for their tartar sauce--awesome dill pickle flavor. It gets loud in here, and rumor has it the owner is often in the corner, keeping an eye on everything. I could see it being pretty insane for a big game. They have lots of Kraken signage up, and you know it's a Hawks bar too. It kinda seems like everybody in Edmonds who's fun to be around has probably hung out in here, maybe multiple times. It definitely felt like the whole neighborhood was welcome and well taken care of. We had 2 entrees and 4 cocktails for $80. These days that's getting to be a fantastic value, especially at a place where they do everything right. I'd happily come back.

I've given it a try twice and it still didn't live up to my expectations the way I used to remmeber it sadly.

Also they were half the size of the normal fish n chips. The fries were just warm. I'm not sure why they took so long to cook the food. The clam chowder was scary. It was just water and didn't have the thick chowder consistency. I don't know if they just gave me food that was below quality standards or if this was the normal service. Well this is my first and last time visiting this location. I never have this service or low quality food at my local Ivars.
