Nice small bar with upscaled lunch items for both lunch and dinner. Got the crispy chorizo deviled eggs which were gluten free. The chorizo was not crispy, but the eggs were slightly spicy and vinegary. I like it okay. The bartender is very low key and happily he didn't socialize because I think he, like me, wanted to be in his own headspace. Not a lot of tables, but I found room easily at the bar. The place was vibing because o fan after work social from a local office. I'd give this 5 stars, but I'm seeing too many employee personal items on the bar.

Cool ambiance in here and cool drink selection. The False Confidence was REALLY good, had great richness and depth of flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the Come Again; it basically tasted like a grapefruit Shirley temple. I couldn't taste the sesame component at all. Our friends enjoyed their cocktails. Would return again if in the area, would be a good place to catch a game (they have tvs) or hang with friends and grab some bites, too.

Because Good Bar is conveniently located down the street from Lumen Field, we popped in for Happy Hour on the way to N2 of Metallica this weekend. The bar was busy, but service was quick. The Mediterranean salads and hummus plate were excellent! The 6 Summers cocktail offering was good, as well. The space's interior is fascinating to study with its epic crown moldings and vault doors. Multiple seating options with outdoor tables, indoor tables, bar seating, and additional options on the mezzanine.

The food that never came... we waited for 45 minutes for a flatbread. The bartender in the back never gave the kitchen our order.

This was our worst experience on our mini vacation in Seattle. I was surprised at all the reviews of "friendly service" because that is the opposite of what we got. We stopped by while we had an hour to spare before a walking tour and this bar was nearby. We ordered 2 sodas and a mushroom flatbread pizza. There was only one person sitting at the bar and one table of four, so I figured our order would be quick and easy. The bartender, who also served as the cashier, took my order. I asked if I could use a large bill. It was about 4pm in the afternoon which I know is early for a bar but he took the cash. I would have rather he refused and made me pay card because afterwards, he was so gruff it made us feel unwelcome. We waited patiently for 40 minutes for our flatbread pizza while slowly sipping our sodas. I could see the people at the kitchen were moving around but nothing was coming out. We only had about 10 minutes to get to our location and I was confused why we hadn't received our order. By this time, the bar had picked up with more people, but still, not one thing had come out of the kitchen. My husband asked the bartender if our pizza was on the way and he begrudgingly responded, "I don't know. I have no control over the kitchen" and continued making drinks. By this time, we were already late so we headed out the door. I didn't even want to ask for a refund because I just didn't want the bartender's energy anymore. I don't want to go this route but we were the only patrons of color in the place and he just didn't make us feel welcome. I haven't felt that way in Seattle at any of the places we visited but I could tell that he just didn't want to serve us. I noticed also that he went to two other tables and delivered plateware and silverware for food they ordered but he had never given us any. As we were walking out the door, I noticed one of the kitchen staff taking out a pizza out of the oven. I asked my husband to go back in to maybe get the pizza to-go. He went in and talked directly to the kitchen staff. There were two people working. One person said it was his very first day (maybe that's why it was slow?) but the other experienced kitchen member confirmed through the food tickets that he had never received an order for a mushroom flatbread. The prosciutto pizzas they were making were for other people who came after us. It seemed as if the bartender never gave them our ticket for food which explained why it never came! He gave me a table number to get the food delivered, but never gave us dining ware. My husband explained the situation to the guy at the kitchen and he agreed that it was awful treatment. When my husband repeated what the bartender said to him he responded "that's ridiculous" because even though he was busy, he could have checked on our order. The bar was almost completely empty when we arrived and he never cared to check on anything for us. And was this done out of spite because he broke a big bill for me? Was he racist? I'm really not sure but all I know was that in my two visits to Seattle, I have never had such poor customer service. I'm grateful that the kitchen member gave us a refund; I ended up using the cash to tip our guide for the tour we were late for. I was excited to try a local spot, a neighborhood gem- but all I got in return was feeling disrespected and unwelcome. People from Seattle, you deserve better. Out-of-towners, there are so many bars and great places to eat around Pioneer Square. I do not recommend The Good Bar. Nothing out of the experience here was good. If anyone reads this review that works there, see the picture attached for a view of the bartender who served us in the background. I took a photo of our empty table for the food that never came.

Not sure why Kurt looks so sad because this place is great.

Good Bar is back! I thought this was one of the pandemic casualties . One of the best classic/ modern bar ambiance in the city. Glad to see it return with new ownership but still great drinks with better service. The bartender Sarah is great there and I would return just for her friendly banter and ability to serve, suggest drinks and carry conversations will all the bar patrons. I will for sure stop by any time in Pioneer Square. The Rhubarb mule is a must and the Marion-berry sangria is great as well.

Good burger (beef and lamb, comes with chips!)

When you first arrive, it's super cute! And then when you see the menu you may think it's limited but the bartender worked with me to make what I liked because they have a full bar and they're flexible. My friends ordered some food to share and I saw that the burger came with chips. I asked if I could buy just chips and he just brought me a plate no charge! They're really nice and accommodating. They brought us a pitcher of water for the table and took care of us for drinks. Highly recommend!

Rum tiki drink- forgot the name but I had a couple

Delicious cocktails! Great bartender and a cool place to hang out. Just walk to the hotel in Pioneer Square.

I came here for a 20-person meetup with this amazing fashion-forward group of women. The service was incredibly slow, the food left us disappointed and looking for something better. Drinks, tbh, I don't even remember. All a bit of a bummer considering the delightful interior design! Had it not been for our group this place would have been dead. And it was a warm Saturday evening! If you want a place to go that isn't crowded, and you're not particular with your food, then try it out because it is cute. But I wouldn't go back a second time.

I had been to Good Bar a few times before Covid times and always enjoyed to atmosphere here, but had never tried any food, just drinks. Last night I went there with some friends now that it is reopened and finally tried the food - WOW! The menu is all new, now with a Mediterranean flair. We had Spiced Nuts, Beets, Labneh Mousse, Griddled Halloumi, and the Lamb and Beef Pita, all of which were fantastic! I stuck to beer, of which they have many on tap, but my friends tried some of their very unique cocktails and enjoyed them as well. They also have just enough TV's to be able to watch an important game, but would definitely not consider it a sports bar. Overall, Good Bar has a very comfortable atmosphere, along with great food, drinks, and a friendly staff. If you're in the Pioneer Square area, you should definitely pop in and give them a try!

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year.
