Gong Cha is a well-known boba franchise that makes delicious bobas! When I rate a boba place I normally look for 5 things, which makes rating on Yelp super convenient! 1. Taste 2. Customizability of sweetness and whether they delivered on it 3. Customizability of ice and whether they delivered on it 4. Price 5. Service In this case, everything was hit on the head! No complaints here. Make sure to check this place out to satisfy that boba itch!

    Take out classic milk tea

I love classic a bubble tea. Only went once, and had a positive experience overall. The person serving me was very friendly and the kitchen looked clean from the outside. I ordered a classic bubble tea and was pleased with the quality of the pearls - they were chewy and firm. Although I ordered my drink at 30% sugar, it was still a bit too sweet for my taste. Additionally, I detected a slight aftertaste of licorice, which I wasn't a fan of. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. You can only order take out. As for panda pearls, crystal pearls are not really round pearls.

When we came to order, the man was very nice. He answered our questions very nicely and have recommendations too. I was glad to hear that they also were able to make their milk teas dairy free by using almond milk. We ordered a mango slushie, earl grey milk froth and a royal milk tea, all with bubbles of course. They were delicious and there is a very helpful chart that explains how much ice or sugar you want.

    Royal Milk Tea with pearls

This Gong Cha was the smallest one I've been to and was very crowded when we came. Their menu was similar to other Gong Cha places. I ordered the Royal Milk Tea with pearls and waited a few minutes. There was only two people working here so they were busy making the drinks for everybody in front of us. My drink was made and the Royal Milk Tea with pearls tasted good to me. We didn't really stay long since there was no room and we were on our way back to the hotel. Overall, this Gong Cha location was okay to me for some milk tea.

I find Gong Cha a hit or a miss. Honestly, it isn't anywhere close to the top of my list of bubble tea chains in Vancouver. I got a text message notification of a promotion and when I went in store, I was told it wasn't redeemable at this location. Okay... I clicked on the text message notification afterwards and it clearly says the promotion is available at this location. Whatever. So I ended up ordering a matcha milk tea ($6.70!) and it was disgusting. It tasted watered down and had an artificial matcha taste. For almost $7, you would expect actual milk and not milk powder. Save your time and money. If you are looking for a bubble tea chain, opt for Chatime or Coco.

This may very well be the smallest bubble tea shop I have ever been! Don't expect to sit and drink your bubble tea here as the seats are limited to none. This location is best for on-the-go purchases, perhaps in between catching the bus or shopping on Granville Street. Whenever I order, drinks come up fast and that's always good. The staff have been kind and helpful, which is great. However the service is not always consistent. I guess since people are on the go, it's not as easy to engage with customers but nonetheless, I think there's some room for improvement here. I like using the Ritual app when going to Gong cha (for any location) as it helps me skip the line up. Because this place is small as mentioned, I prefer to just grab my drink and go. One thing I noticed though is I'm not entirely sure but I thought their prices are a bit different than the Gong Cha down Robson (closer to Stadium District).

    Strawberry green tea QQ

Every time I've been to gongcha I have been unimpressed. I always thing that it will be a decent option to satisfy my bbt cravings but it's never good. I ordered a strawberry green tea QQ with 50% sugar and I swear I think they added 50% more instead. It was so incredibly sweet hat the only reason I finished it is because I didn't want to waste my hard earned money. I don't recommend going to any gong cha.

The employee was very nice and the bubble tea was absolutely delectable. If you ever go to Vancouver you should should go here!

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

He rang us up, then ran behind curter to make our drinks. It didn't seem too busy here so maybe it was manageable for him. This is one of the better boba spots I have tried in Richmond where they have some creative drinks…read moresuch as the ones with panna cotta and mochi. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
