I needed a quick fix because the set I got last from a certain nail salon on Fruitvale barely lasted 2 weeks. Vinny is the man for the manis here. He's quick and does a pleasant job. He was a little rough and aggressive handling my hands and fingers but nothing painful. It seemed like he was the only doing nails in the shop so I felt like he was rushing. I liked the work he did on my fill. I get overlays on my real nails and he took care of them well with a solid foundation. I threw him a curveball by asking to give me chrome french tips which he said he's never done before. They turned out really well and super cute! read more

I have been client for them over 15 yrs venny and diem ( wife) have been so nice to me and make my nail and toe pretty . I didn't like location but I still came here . Now I have to move far a way from them I don't know when I will be back to CA but I sure miss both of them skill . They have long term clients come from all over places. They do detail and great job . I can't find better words explain how much appreciated their skill and always care about me with compassion and kind heart . Vinnie you are the best. We need more nail technician like you!!!. Vinnie is a perfectionist and takes pride in how he do nails. I don't need to go back almost every week (or week in a ahalf) when he do them because you can't tell when i need a fill unless you hold my damn hand in your face. I like that he is not lazy at following the tricks of th trade to ensure that all his customers will continue to return like junkies... I just let him do any design he wants, but always tell him to not give me what he gave anybody else. Give him a try. Just go in the morning or call and make an appointment. One name you need to remember when you go to this shop...VINNIE! this shop was suggested to me by my cousins who have been going for over 10 years. He is quick and to the point. I love that you can come in with an idea and he'll just go from there. I recently went in this past Friday to get my gel filled, im going to Jamaica in a few days and wanted something bright with sparkle, he asked me what colors I wanted and went from there. As im typing now I cant stop staring at my nails, they have just enough flash. The prices are pretty reasonable, I dont get tips, just gel over my real nails and that was 25, I believe a fill is around the 15.00 range and goes up depending on what else you want done. I have not been able to get a pedicure but Im sure I will get around to that soon. I live in the southbay and I travel all the way to east oakland because I dont trust anyone with else but vinnie with gel. When you stop by, tell him Veronica sent you ;-) OH! and make sure you bring cash, he doesnt accept credit or atm. Came here for my birthday to get my nails done because I saw the great reviews but was disappointed with how the nail tech treated my nails. She cut the skin around my nail(on almost every finger) and made my thumb bleed and painted over the blood. My cuticles look crusty as hell and they are in pain. She was very nice but didn't seem like she knew how to use her tools correctly because she ended up wounding me several times. It's the day after I got my nails and my fingers slightly burn whenever I wash my hands. Never coming back here again. read more

This place is not the fanciest for sure but they do a great job for a a pretty good price. I always come here and they always leave my nails looking so bomb, supper shiny and smooth. They last up to a month and they don't fall off like when I go to other places. The only thing I would say that I don't like that much is that gel is the only thing that I recommend getting because their polishes aren't the best. They have mostly like glitter and vivid polishes very poor color selection. However for gel they have it all from nudes to glitters to vivid colors. Besides that tiny inconvenience I totally recommend you go there. read more

Ok so I have been going to another shop a few blocks down the street but as usual they were busy and were also closing early. It was Saturday I checked yelp and came across this shop because it was in close proximity to where I currently was. I walked in I was greeted immediately. I needed a fill/pedi and a mani/pedi for my daughter. Kim ran my water perfectly did a wonderful job on my nails and TOOK HER TIME wasn't rushed. Now the nails Vinnie was quick efficient and truly knows customer service. And my eyebrows are great! Other customers that I was speaking with are loyal customers 10+years of him providing service to them says alot about the quality of work he gives.
