Got a gel maicure. It was just ok. The girl seemed very confused when I asked if she could do a small polka dot on each nail. When she finally did it, it was not centered, so she had to put 2 additional dots on each nail to even out the look I guess. The mani only lasted about 1 1/2 weeks before it started chipping and lifting in the cuticle area. I'm used to almost 3 weeks between appointments from my last place on California. Ok if you get the right technicians. They make a mistake (in my opinion) when they file tips 'after' polish has been applied. I walked out twice with snags on my tips. Not practical. Here's the deal I wanted to love this place, I fact I did love this place, until today's visit. I went in for a mani/pedi, and got a hack job mani/pedi. My pedicure lasted only 15 minutes with the application of gel polish. My toes are not shaped, they are ruff around the edges, and there is gel all around my cuticles. My manicure was a joke, my nails soaked in water for less than 30 before she stared nipping my cuticles. She clipped and filed my nails to nothing. When I asked her to shape them she got all irritated and filed them even more in even. After the gel application she only put lotion on my fingers and slightly rubbed my hands. $71 later I have a botch nail job that has gel all on my cuticles and under my nails. read more

I got a pedicure here on Saturday and now I am on antibiotics. My toe started hurting the next morning and only got worse. After a trip to the urgent care, I was told the infection was from my cuticle being cut too deep and is grounds for bacteria. I had a fairly new person (he was being told what to do as he was doing it) but I never felt him cut my cuticle and there was no blood so I'm not sure if their equipment wasn't sterile or not but be careful!! read more

I moved to the Eugene area about 2 years ago from Portland. I tried a few different places around town but by far this is my favorite place to go. The place is clean and the people are all friendly. I always forget to make an appointment but they are always willing to fit me in. I hate being that customer that comes in near closing time but there have been a few occasions that they have stayed past 7PM to get my mani/ pedi done. I always feel welcomed in there and they don't even mind me bring in my pup when it's not busy. They are great. I would recommend this place to others. read more

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR Had an older gentlemen do my nails, took over an hour for a pink fill, they were left uneven and wavy and thick after he drilled them. He argued with me when i asked for a clear gel coat he wanted to just buff them out. Now I know why, had to go home and fix them myself so they looked half way decent. Will not be back. Not a good experience at all. First, I had an appointment for 6, didn't get started until 620. Then, the man who did my toes was very slow and did VERY sloppy work. I'm leaving on vacation and considering redoing my toes myself. Then they charged me 29 for a very basic pedicure. PLUS, I had made the appointment for a fill in, too, but they seemed utterly confused when I asked them about it. They were now closing so I am off on vacation with home done nails. The nail tech did not give me anywhere close to her full attention, answering phones (personal and work), talking to other clients, talking to all the other staff way more then me. Didn't ask if the nail was ok (it was not). I had her make them shorter (she never asked how I wanted them) she said she would try a design. She did not do it well and was upset when I wanted something else. Im not paying 35 dollars to wear a crap design for a few weeks. This was the biggest mistake ever to go here. I visited this location twice in a 3 weeks and after the second time my nails were RUINED. Both times I was in Eugene for work and I wanted to get my nails done as a treat to myself. I had taken my acrylic off a few weeks prior. The younger guy did my nails and don't know his name because he was too busy arguing with one of the women to talk to me. He was really rough, he cut my cuticles really, really low. He scraped the old gel polish off my already sensitive nails to the point I pulled my hand away a couple times. I explained to him multiple times that I had only had my acrylic off for about 6 weeks. He pretty much didn't care. They say gel polish can last up to 2 weeks. Mine was cracking after 4 days. By this point I was already back home over 2 hours away. I was annoyed because I wasted my money for a gel manicure that didn't last. I then proceed to take the polish off when I was finished I could see how he totally butchered my nails with his "manicure" I have two nails that are split below the quick that bled. My nails are so thin even more so than after taking my acrylic off. And because he cut my cuticles so low a different nail cracks and bleed almost every day. And because the nail is split I can't go to a reputable salon back home until it's healed. Save yourself from the frustration of crappy nails and don't go to this place. read more

I got a gel pedicure & manicure on Sunday evening (5pm). I have had a few prior salon experiences in other states and was very clear that this was my first visit to a nail place in the state of Oregon. The pedicure was ok - I was told about the state law requiring a "nail kit" and how if I didn't have my own it would be an extra $2. Not a huge deal. The pedicure included warm towel, lotion, and a massage for $25. Aside from the cut made by the cuticle trimmer on my left toe it was not a bad job. The gel manicure consisted of soaking my hands in warm water, my cuticles trimmed, a file shaping, then a buffing. I was told to wash with water only. My polish was then applied. One cost of base color followed by the French tips. I was then asked if I wanted a little line of silver. I said sure - I've never had this before - and the lady put it on. Then the top coat. After that I was done. No lotion - no massage - just pay now. I was a little thrown off - I've had maybe 10 manicures total in my life & it has been about 3 years since my last - but each one has a massage. On top of that I was told that the $35 gel "manicure" (which was a paint job & a nail file) had EXTRA charges. French tips +$5 that silver line +$3 They told me about the $2 nail kit add-on but did not say anything about these fees until after it was all over. So I pay & tip & leave. Then I look at my nails - up close in the car. The white is not even. The polish is covering parts of my cuticle on my pinkies. There is a odd black fleck of something on my right thumbnail. The ends of my nails have no cover. For $78 total - not the best quality. I will not be back. read more

I went here a few times and I had the same guy do my nails except for the last time. I loved my nails all the other times, but the last time I went an old man made 4 of my nails bleed. I had scabs on my cuticles for weeks. The paint job was terrible and he missed several parts of my nail. I will not go back. They are unprofessional. read more

I just recently moved here and searched for a new salon. I trusted the previous reviews and decided to go in for a backfill and an eyebrow wax. My nails came out terrible. The nails are not shaped correctly, are uneven in length, and one nail has begun growing fungus under it. My eyebrows were barely cleaned up but not shaped. Horribly disappointed in the experience and will not return. Gave them a 2 star because they were pleasant. read more

We were a party of 4 made reservations and waited 45 mins. Every single one of us had at least 1 issue with our nails. They even ran out of one of the nail polish colors (sparkly white) and substituted it for an ORANGE without saying anything. Needless to say, we won't be back...ever. read more

Only criticism is that they couldn't do my friend's mani at the pedi station and made her walk on her freshly groomed feet to the mani station across the store. And I've never been a fan of the "please pay before I put polish on you"..I know they think they're doing you a favor because you don't risk your nails rummaging in your wallet for money. They used to clean the traps in the foot basins - not any more; just squirt a couple pumps of hand soap and use a brush that is reused on the next one. Now they are using electricity over the foot basins -- using the nail blue light dryer plugged in while perched on top of the foot area, over the basin of water. D A N G E R O U S!!! Never help you on with your flip flops and expect you to walk across the dirty floor to the nail area in bare feet. Always late. And last, but not least, they are the rudest!!! The mother and father are friendly, although the father has cut me when doing my toes and neither speak much English. The daughter doesn't even try to converse with you and speaks Vietnamese with the other workers the entire time. She NEVER, EVER says thank you or goodbye. Took 2 hours for a pedicure and gel manicure, because the woman doing my nails used regular polish, which looked AWFUL, then realized she hadn't used gel, got paint paint ALL over my hands, then left with a pretty awful final product. She showed my a price list when I first sat down and then when I got to the counter to pay, showed me a different, higher price list and insisted I pay the higher price. After reading positive reviews on yelp decided to try them. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, service and price. Very friendly folks, great attention to detail and very reasonable prices. Upon entering I thought it would be the usual "factory" setting, lots of pedi stations, etc. but it was quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. The staff obviously cares about their customers; I didn't feel the least bit rushed and the pedi was awesome. I will most definitely go back, this will be my regular place from now on. read more

First time there my nails lifted and chipped with in 7 days will not return. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and they looked good when I left but wasn't happy with the lack of quality. I can normally go 2-3 weeks before any lifting :( and to top it off it was like 90 outside and they had no ac on and doors open it was just really uncomfortable. read more
