Freedom Forever put the panels on and let the finance company know to start charging me interest back around 2/2/26 but the project is nowhere near being ready to have the system turned on. They have blamed SCE and the city for the delays only to find out that it really has been them dragging their feet and not following up on paying the city for the permits and reaching out to SCE timely to get things done. I am being charged for something that I am not receiving any benefit for. If you have a choice, do no choose them. If there was a way to get out of my contract and choose someone else, I definitely would.

They're true professionals, their work is excellent, and their customer service is outstanding. Jonny has been our sales rep and he answered all of my initial questions, walked us through a few options to choose the best system for our house, and gave me plenty of space to make the best decision for our home. Ultimately we went with an Enphase system (which he recommended) because it offers the best products, the longest warranties, options to expand our system later, and the best service if we run into issues in the years to come. The install team at Pacific Sun Tech is full of excellent guys who made our install a breeze, they finished the work right on schedule and with the utmost respect for our property. Devin handled the admin work for PST in a lightning fast manner, coordinating with our utility company and for city permits, she's a great communicator. PST even helped us arrange our financing with a significant 30% rebate upfront and helped us lock in a great rate for our loan as well. Our system is now running like a dream, just in time for peak summer electricity prices, and we couldn't be happier. My only regret is that I didn't hire them years ago to get begin saving this much money earlier, but I have only myself to blame. At least we're in great hands now. Review Update: After…read moremy initial review, Eric (the sales rep) and Matt (the owner) of Sunline personally reached out to me and was apologetic about the situation. They sent Travis out promptly, who is their electrician where he found that the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty 40-amp breaker that was intermittently providing the necessary voltage, even though measurements initially appear correct. While the breaker issue caused real inconvenience and unexpected costs on my end, the owner was responsive and showed willingness to smooth things over to work toward a resolution. I also want to highlight that the panel upgrade and solar/battery installation itself was clean and well done. The workmanship that Eddie, Manny, Christian and Jamie performed had overall met my expectations, and once the issue was identified, Sunline did step in to correct it. No project is perfect, but how a company responds when problems arise matters a lot. In this case, Sunline's owner and Eric was engaged, responsive, and made a sincere effort to make things right. As an engineer, and after witnessing the symptoms and corrective actions firsthand, I believe the breaker issue was likely a manufacturing defect, and it was unfortunate that it occurred during the holidays. That said, based on how Sunline handled the situation, the overall quality of their work, and the value they offer, I would recommend them and plan to continue using them for future needs.

Look around neighborhood and see that we're the only ones…read more I check the breaker box and see that our main 100 amp breakers had tripped but as I was going to reset them I could feel heat radiating. I called So Cal Edison and the lady was not helpful at all, basically said not our problem call an electrician. I have two kids (1 & 3) in the bath and bedtime to follow so I googled emergency electrician and AC Electric popped up. I called the number and about 5 minutes after leaving a voicemail, Jeremy, the owner, calls me back and says he can be there within the hour. Shows up, checks to make sure everything was good and gets us up and running. Best thing, he didn't charge as it was more of a safety check than anything. I thought anyone I called after hours might take forever to arrive and charge a ridiculous amount but not in this case. If I have any other electrical needs I'll make sure to call AC Electric, when you treat your customers with this level of service, loyalty is sure to follow.
