Absolute nightmare. Please read my story and stay away…read more My solar panels were installed in February 2023 and I sit here today still waiting for them to be activated. The beginning of the story was not there fault. My original company, Harness, went under after the panels were installed. I was happy to hear that a new company had taken over within a few weeks of the announcement. Little did I know this nightmare was just beginning. When I started with Infinity I was given a name of someone who would be managing my project. During the 8 months I have worked with them she has responded 1 time. I have reached out over 50 times. Every time I call customer service I get a new person with a completely different story as to why we had no moved on anything. I asked for a manager every time, but was always told that it was not an option. After months of calling for updates, and hearing nothing, I was told finally that we would schedule a final inspection. Lets go through how those went: 1st inspection - They all showed up and realized my system was not connected (would have thought they'd look at that first). Was told they would reschedule 2nd inspection - nobody showed up -I had to call them to learn it was cancelled after I took the day off work because they said I had to be here all day 3rd inspection - nobody showed up -I had to call them to learn it was cancelled after I took the day off work because they said I had to be here all day 4th inspection - the utility company showed but nobody from Infinity! Had to reschedule (missed work again) 5th inspection- everyone showed up! They did not have original permits wo we had to schedule again 6th inspection- finally everyone showed and we passed! We are all done! Now I just need to wait for the call from Infinity that we are all connected! Wrong! I just found out that they have no way to monitor if this is actually on. SDG&E sent me an email that I was connected but never heard from Infinity. So I called and they said I am not connected and they cannot figure out how they would monitor this. I am still confused about why this is. I asked to talk to a manager, but of course its not possible. So we sit here, with the panels on the roof for 8+ months, connected with SDGE but STILL not active. If I could climb on the roof and pull the panels down myself I would. Trust me if you work with this company you will regret it. Horrible service, project management with 0 accountability.

Total cost $2900. During the installation process I was informed that my current box supported the system being installed and that an MPU upgrade was not necessary so I would be receiving a refund for monies paid for the MPU box upgrade. I have been going around and around with the general contractor, promised a refund, told "the check is in the mail" only to finally be informed that the company installed a Hawaiian Tie in lieu of an MPU box upgrade which coincidentally costs the exact same amount. Never once was I informed of this need. Never once did I give approval. Do not use this company unless you want to get scammed.

After months of delay due…read moreto permitting and weather (outside of SunPower's control), my 28 solar panel and 4x Tesla gen2 Powerwall setup was finally commissioned and online as of May 11th, 2023. Everything turned on and worked, I am beyond ecstatic! I now have plenty of solar panels and battery, with 11.5 KW of peak solar, and 4x Tesla gen2 Powerwalls at 54 KWH of energy storage to power my Tesla and everything in the house. The only miscommunication was when I checked the critical battery load list, they didn't put my mini-split AC / heater on it initially. When I complained about it the manager said they usually don't put air conditioning on backup uploads to protect the Tesla Powerwall batteries. I explained that before the solar project started I installed an energy efficient mini-split AC / Heater system that has slow soft start capability and is battery friendly, and confirmed with the engineer who installed the mini-split AC system, as well as SunPower's engineer. I have plenty of sun and battery power to operate this AC system, the math works out. SunPower by Precis then came back a month later to change the backup load, free of charge. Now everything is working perfectly and I can charge my Tesla with the power of the sun and power the entire house, including mini-split AC / heater, and be unaffected by extended power outages. If you install battery friend mini-split AC systems, and want it on the backup load, just make sure you communicate that clearly ahead of time with their engineers and ensure it gets added to the critical backup loads sheet with their managers/installers because putting AC on critical battery backup is non-standard, especially not the traditional HVACs that have a large spiky startup current that's really bad for batteries.

Hello, I originally contacted Jarco roofing about a re-roof on my house with Solar. in November of…read more23. I was told they were about 8 weeks out. I was ok with that. Well, it was a very wet winter and they did not make it out until the beginning of March 2024. The job was done. About 2 months later My solar breakers popped. I contacted Jaarco and notified them since I had never had previous problems That I would let them know if it happened again. It did. In 2025 I started getting ground fault errors. Don sent Chase from Haywire Electric out. Chase told me since there were no errors the day he came out there was nothing he could do. I had had an electric bill of over 1K previously due to the breakers popping about the time i had heart surgery in 2024 and was not staying on top of my solar at that time. I attempted to contact Chase again a short time later and he did not reply in a timely manner so I contacted another company and spent $1500 attempting to get the system fixed to no avail. I did finally get in touch with Chase and paid him I believe $1300 to fix the system. He told me if it didn't fix it we would work something out. It did not. I contacted Solar company paid $200 for an estimate. I was told the whole system was installed incorrectly and needed an entire rewire and he suggested I replace the inverter. Quote was 10K I again contacted Chase and Don to no avail. I asked to have Don come out and meet with me to examine the work his worked had done and assumed he declined since I never heard back from him. After the other company came out I spoke with Chase and he agreed the whole system needed to be rewired but did nothing to assist with Jarco to fix this. I spoke with Chase about him doing it since he felt the other companies quote was to high and the fact Don seemed to have washed his hands of me when he did not come out to meet. On November 24th 2025 chase told me he was out of town until 7th. On December 10th I text Chase once again. Chase replied that he had just returned from time off and was busy with work and the holidays He didn't know when he would be able to schedule me. On January 16th I again text him asking if he could do it or if I should look for someone else. I never heard back and have not stopped waiting. I have Photos of Broken Conduit and loose wires exposed to the sun running across my roof. I will be taking them to the Riverside County office with me tomorrow when I try to get a copy of the permit that I was told was supposed to have been pulled and to file a complaint against his contractors License.

We were sceptical at the beginning as the previous contractors that were assigned for similar jobs in the past were, let's just say, not the best. In Bear Creek instance we couldn't be happier. They contacted us in timely manner once the dispatch number was issued and kept us informed throughout the whole process. The contractor Barry was very professional, friendly, super knowledgeable and knew how to advise on any matter we asked about. He received the equipment he asked for and installed it cleanly and efficiently. He also double checked post the new equipment installation to ensure that everything was in order.
