Let me just share a different perspective: I met Tom after I had gone with a solar installation from Solar City which is now Tesla. My installation from Solar City has been a complete nightmare. When it was first installed the installers drilled holes in my water main line in the garage interior wall. They fixed that and then a year later it started leaking in the wall behind the Solar City inverter. Everything had to be removed, plumbing fixed, drywall repaired and then the inverter be reinstalled. Please please please don't make the same mistake I did and get a Tesla installation. I had another company out to talk about solar today then I get a phone call from " Tom alexander" asking to speak to my husband. I ask if I can take a message and he says he lives around the corner and noticed the other company at my house, he wants to know if I signed a contract with them. I say I'm sorry I don't give this info out to strangers. He says he knows my husband. I tell him no thank you and hang up. I call my husband who says he doesn't know the guy. I look up his nonlocal number and it says he sells solar and cars in corona and has a corona address. I live in huntington beach. I txt and ask where he got my number. He writes back that his contractor saw the other company at my house so looked up our personal information online and asks if I'm buying or leasing. My God that's intrusive, creepy, and underhanded. I was interested in having solar panels installed for my home. However, I was not interested in roof installed panels. It was surprising to me that many companies I checked only install on the roof.
