I started apply 8/29, and they come to install in 10/10, all finish in last week. The agent is Very kind. She answered all my questions and responded quickly.

Installers did a great job of aligning the rails & panels to the roof shingles to maintain a pleasant aesthetic.

Overall: 5/5 Can't say enough good things about Troy and my SunPower install. Had a 6 kW system put in place on my roof using the Maxeon microinverter panels earlier this year. If any of your panels are expected to experience prolonged partial shade, I'd personally opt for a microinverter setup instead of string as the affected panel will not impact the overall efficiency of the other panels. Sales Pitch: 5/5 The sales pitch was not forced nor rushed. I was given thorough information and recommendations based on my individual needs. We reviewed my existing usage, expected future usage, and the roof layout together. After assessing the requirements, Troy went through several proposals with me on the pros and cons of different designs, brands, and financing that were offered. This part may seem overwhelming at first, but he's very thorough with highlighting the key info and metrics to look at when comparing between the options. Luckily for me, he was able to provide a proposal for my system that would meet 100% of my expected usage at a price that worked for me. Value: 5/5 The price at face value is definitely not the cheapest when compared to a few competitors out there. However, I found the value to be well worth it as the warranty is longer overall and the customer service was much more responsive. More importantly, there was no initial down payment requirements and the entire process, from beginning to end, was handled by Troy and the project manager. The value of not needing to do anything other than electronically sign some documents and select the install date that worked around my schedule was excellent. I went with the in-house SunPower financing deal and pay a predictable monthly amount for my panels that is 33% cheaper than my average electric bill. Since my panels generate more than I use on average, I get the cherry on top of a consistently negative bill from the utility company every month. Paperwork: 5/5 All documents were sent electronically and easy to navigate. Signing each document was simply a click of the button and the important information is very clearly summarized. Permits, planning, inspections, install, site visits, and submissions to the utility company were all handled for me. The most difficult task I had was selecting the day where I could afford to be without power for 1 hour (more like 15 minutes on my install) while they connected the wiring to my electrical panel. Installation: 5/5 The 6 installers that came out were very professional in my interactions with them. All wore SunPower uniforms and had proper hard hats and safety gear. They cordoned off the work areas with safety tape and went through a briefing with me about the work to be done and what I could expect. They were timely on their arrival and cleaned up the work area thoroughly when the job was complete. Timeline: 5/5 The timeline was well within the estimate provided to me by Troy. It took 1 day to get assigned a Project Manager after signing the proposal documents. The site survey was completed 1 week later. Permits were submitted the next business day after. It took 5 weeks for the city to approve the permits. Once approved, I received a call on a Tuesday from the PM and scheduled the install that very same week on Friday. The installers began at 8:30am and were fully cleaned up by 2:30pm. The city inspector came the week after and permits were signed off. The PM submitted the Permission To Operate to the utility company. 10 days later, the PTO was approved and my panels were online. From initial signing to PTO, the process took about 10 weeks overall with no stress to me. I was kept in constant communication about where in the process I was. The largest uncontrollable factors are the time it takes for permits to get approved, city inspections for permit signoff, and PTO from the utility company. Everything else was handled extremely quickly and the response times from Troy and SunPower were excellent.

365 Solar moving fast. It only took three weeks from the first quote to the completion. Troy proved a great help and excellent service to us and didn't give me any chance to pick bones from egg. He tailored the right size for us and explained everything to me from how the solar works to all the permits and warranties. Basically I learnt everything that I need for my solar. Speaking of the constructor, Jesus and Tony, they are good as well, complete all 23 panels in 2 days with only two of them. Passed the inspection from county at the first time which is hard for most of the company. Awesome job. I would recommend this company and Troy to all my friends, they know what they are doing and they really know how the moves make them stand out. Great job!!!

We are very grateful to Thomas for his service and follow-up from beginning to end, which made our installation very smooth. The engineering team is very professional, taking every step carefully and successfully completing it within the estimated time. Now I can use my mobile phone to accurately see how much electricity is produced every day, how much electricity is used in the house, and how much electricity is left. It is very convenient and reassuring.

365 Solar supported me by taking care of all the necessary paperwork and permits during the SunPower solar installation, special thanks to Yen Hsu for making the process entirely hassle-free for me. They demonstrated their commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction by keeping me informed throughout every step of the process, sometimes even better than the project coordinator offered by SunPower, providing updates on the installation's progress and the expected energy savings I could anticipate. They are worthy of the name as an elite dealer.

We have shopped several solar companies that were recommended by Yelp and were impressed by 365 Solar's service. We have scheduled appointment with them in late August, after done meeting with 4 solar companies (Including Sunpower) and discussion with family we have decided to go with 365 Solar for their high wattage Korean panel and very competitive pricing they offered us. Troy kept us in the loop and walked me over the whole process step by step, and we have our solar panels installed within one month! The whole installation was smooth and they have installed the new electrical panel for us, although we had 5-6 hours out of power. I have already referred them my friend who lives in Diamond Bar. And wouldn't hesitate to refer more business to them at all.

Troy at 365 Solar was an absolute dream to work with. The entire process was easy and painless. Troy provided excellent services and answered all of the questions I've thrown at him (and trust me, I had a lot of questions). Troy was there every step of the way and unlike some vendors who'd just provide excellent service before they close the deal and neglects you post sale..Troy continues to provide timely response and services after my system installation because you know, you just got a new system and would definitely still have questions ! The installer Jesus that came to install our system was wonderful, through and diligent. He worked hard and worked as long as he needed to ensure project stays on track. He's tidy and cleans up after himself everyday ! All in all, if you're looking to get Solar, definitely reach out to 365 Solar!

We have been doing some renovations to our newly purchase house and solar is one of our projects. I was referred to 365 Solar because my close friend chose them for his house in Hacienda Heights. Troy was very humble guy and very patient and knowledgeable to explain my power consumption and explain the pros and cons on the solar purchase options vs solar lease options. At the first we were leaning forwards leasing due to budget and concerns on cost of buying system. But after talking to Troy we have decided to finance the system and we actually save more with our finance payment over lease payment. No brainer right? The total processing time with installation took about 6 weeks even though they said the approximate time is 2-3 months. The workers are very friendly and did not mind me watching them doing job and asking questions. Overall experience with this company is stress free, good communication with pre and post service. An honest company to work with. Would recommend to my friends!

Because of that experience, we were very cautious when we decided to add more panels and reached out to several different companies. From the very beginning, HPM Solar stood out. They were easy to work with, communicated clearly, and consistently kept me informed about every step of the process. There were no surprises and no guessing about what was happening next. We were also extremely fortunate that an earlier installation slot opened up, allowing HPM to fit us in just in time to take advantage of the expiring tax credit -- something we truly appreciated. The installation crew was excellent: professional, efficient, and respectful of our property. They did great work and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left, which really showed their attention to detail and pride in their work. Overall, the entire solar process with HPM Solar was very smooth and stress-free, a complete contrast to our previous experience. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering solar.

I observed the installation process asking questions and am satisfied that I won't have any issues.

We had new construction and solar was required. I contacted Infinity Solar and they walked us through each step of the process, and they were very patient and understanding through our numerous construction delays. I was connected with Nick who was great! Most solar companies only wanted to consult over the phone but Nick was more than happy to come meet with us. He looked at our construction and walked us through the next steps, explained who would handle what portion of the installation. Nick coming out and answering our questions made us feel more comfortable about the process. Sara was also great! She checked in on us periodically to see where we were in the construction process. She understood our delays and never made us feel pressured or rushed. They handled the permit process, kept us apprised of when it was approved and when our equipment was received. Infinity does their own installation which was a huge plus. I heard many stories of solar companies contracting out and not having the work pass inspection and the nightmare to get it corrected through the solar company because they did not do the install. Absolutely First-Rate from Start to Finish When the fires…read morehit Southern California and we lost power for two weeks, something changed for me. I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

For the quick summary, there was a mistake in my installation, it was not handled well and the system works well but only have a long struggle. They price match but hard to say if I felt good about the price in the end either. Overall, it is very mediocre. After talking to 4 companies, I decided to go with OC after they honored a price match from a competitor. It was a fairly large system, 15 panels and a Tesla power wall 3 and needed to be added to existing system as my current one was underpowered and required due to new builds in California. Total was about 33k, out the door. It may not have been the cheapest offering but shopping for solar is not my favorite experience and I went with what I felt was at least fair for what I got. I primarily worked with Don from sales and Brooklynn and initially seemed fine and for all intents and purposes, it should have been. I chose to get HOA approval and pay for it myself so it did stall the project through no fault of OC. I dropped the first major deposit of 10k and the installation was scheduled around July 2025. The next part is where the struggle began. The day of installation, the installers tell me the panels cannot fit in the design that they were given. They asked if I wanted to pivot to another part of roof and just install it then and there. I call OC and they admit the design cannot possibly fit my panels on this small area of my roof and I cancel the project and have them redo the plans and for me to go through HOA again. This leads to a very frustrating back and forth with Don and later Brookylnn's superiors as I no longer heard from her. I had about 10 calls or more trying to clarify what to do next and was met with a lot of resistance about what happened. It turns out the plan was actually the original estimate from Don (sales) and for some reason just pushed through their architectural team without consideration of the size. Don's superior Chandler even spoke with me about this and though I can't recall their explanation for this mistake, they spoke as if this was my issue with wanted to go through HOA and that they had no power to stop the project. If I had written this review after this call, I'd recommend no one work with these people. It felt frustrating and at times demeaning, given that they do this all day and I don't know what I'm talking about. After I got my second approval, OC refunded my fee to the HOA approval, but only after I explicitly asked for it. We eventually moved forward with the project and inspection when fine. My guess is had we not had this irresponsible prelimary design provided by Don go through their "architectural" team it would've been fine and none the wiser. As of this writing, the panels are working as intended and I had such a sour experience, I just moved on. But now Don and company requested a review for their internal systems, so here is it and a Yelp one that they did not ask for. In the end, like most of these experiences, it's not the mistake that upsets me, it's the handling of it. Communication started fading when things got more difficult and the lack of empathy or consideration for some dropping this much money on something they will do maybe 2-3 times in their life is disappointing. Much of the time I asked them and myself, how should I know this plan wouldn't work? Sure the HOA can't legally stop me, but I have to live with them, not OC. Whoever may have gotten this far, thank you for hearing my rant. Odds are you will have a fair experience but the truth is, most of these companies are interchangeable. They are all middle men and their strength and differences lie in the customer service and coordination. I didn't expect but solar buying is probably more similar to going to a car dealership. Do your research, advocate for yourself and don't get your hopes too high and it will probably be fine. As for OC, I think in the end they are just mediocre. They're like anyone else you may talk to. The processes are probably similar and I'm glad the system has worked well, which helps my scoring of this review. Maybe they just got lucky with me at the time, as I was getting fed up talking from one salesperson to the next and they price matched. I'm sure others will and can do the same so whoever you go with, as long as you are on top of it, it will go fine.

Our first conversation with NetZero was with Donny, and while it was helpful, we decided to pause and keep learning. After doing more homework and later reconnecting with Nilda and Bobby, the experience felt very different. They took the time to answer questions in plain language, walked through realistic expectations, and never tried to rush us into a decision. After we decided to move forward, the process was handled professionally from start to finish. Nick helped dial in the system design and made sure everything made sense for our home, and Mark oversaw the install side and kept things moving smoothly. The crew showed up when they said they would, treated our home with care, and cleaned up at the end of each day, which we really appreciated. Permitting and inspections were handled by the team and communicated the steps along the way. There were no surprises. Kelly was especially helpful keeping us in the loop and responding quickly whenever we had questions, which made the whole process feel far less stressful than we expected going in. Overall, NetZero Energy felt like a company that values doing things the right way and standing behind their work. We are happy with the install, the communication, and the end result, and would feel comfortable recommending them to friends or family who are considering solar.

Bobby jumped in, explained everything clearly, and got my system back online quickly by replacing several microinverters. The work was clean, efficient, and done right the first time. It's rare to find someone this dependable and knowledgeable. If your solar system needs repairs -- especially if you've been left hanging by another company -- call Forme Solar Electric. Five stars all the way.

First company arrives in a Tesla and then uses my ladder to climb into the attic and reports we have to have a moisture test with various monitors for possible mold and then we will have our lab provide a 16-page report.... $970. Question how much to repair the leak? We will not give a quote until you pay the $975. Thanks, and bye. Number 2, another Tesla and this fellow walks around the lawn and says we will replace the cap around the chimney box. $3500, Thanks, and bye. Number 3, Walks the roof, inspects the attic for leak and reports we must remove 4 solar panels, replace 500 square feet of plywood and replace the shingles, the damage was caused by the solar installation and with a senior discount, $8,750. Keep in mind the roof has not leaked after the solar was installed, 11 years ago. Mr. Joe installed our solar and no one will move our system but he and his crew. We call Mr. Joe, his crew arrive in a work truck with ladders, inspects the attic and finds no excessive water damage to the plywood, removes the chimney box lid, climbs inside to inspect and reports, replace the cap and you are good to go or use some sealant and flex seal first and review the results. THAT IS HONESTY, INTEGRITY AND SKILL!!! We have known Joe for 11 years and we are grateful we located he and his company and you will be too!
