They weren't the cheapest, but they gave us a very competitive bid and we're very communicative on laying out various options, without any pressure. We got a solar battery installed, and working with Neosun was fantastic from start to finish! They were super patient with us when we were deciding how many kWh to get, and gave great advice about customizing everything to our setup. We didn't want to support Tesla, and they were flexible about providing multiple top tier brands (we went with Enphase). They were very upfront about the pricing for different options, and didn't pressure us at any point. They were able to work with our existing solar panels (some of the other solar battery installers that we contacted wouldn't do it unless we also hired them to install the panels), and we were even able to hire them to switch out micro-inverters for all of the existing panels to work with the new battery. We were on a tight timeline to qualify for the tax credit by the end of the year, and they were transparent and communicative about the dates and timeline. They finished within the timeline, and they took care of all the permits and final inspection in time too without us having to follow up. This was even over the holidays! For an additional reasonable fee, they're also available to apply for additional tax credits on your behalf (like the local Los Angeles ones). Update: even though DWP's meter installation mistake was nothing to do with Neosun they offered me a refund for billing period that I am having an issues with LADWP because of their faults. Unforeseen stuff like this happens and it's terrible but Neosun is with you every step of the way . After 3 months of solar installation we found out LADWP installed wrong meter. So up to this date I am being charged at regular rate of electric. This is nothing to do with Neosun and Nate is helping me to navigate this issue but this is ridiculous and I should not be spending my time for such thing to solve their mistake. It's such a headache I am not sure if I am want to do this procedure again or recommend to my friends and families. read more
