If you do, study the contract! They sold my system based on the price of $218.88 per month on the 25 year plan. I learn that the fine print says it goes up to the real price after 12 months. So it is really $311.12 per month for the rest of 24 years. I had no other other problem. And I love it. read more

Fast and reliable. Shant was easy to work with. Price was also very reasonable compared to others

This is my second solar panel system with LA Solar Pros, having moved recently from where they first installed to my new home. From start to finish, from the quality of their installation staff and office staff, to the meticulous attention to their pipe work, they have been excellent in installing my panels and two tesla batteries. My electricity bill is 0. Highly recommended! read more

Scam, that's what the Los Angeles Solar Pros Representative, Arman says about leasing a solar system. See pic below. If he calls leasing a scam what term would he use for my purchase? I paid $44k for 27 panels that are discontinued and available online for for $66.00 each. Among other things I was told I wouldn't need batteries that the other companies said were necessary due to the SCE NEM 3.0 rule change. That turned out not to be true. They offered to remove seven panels and inverters in exchange for 2X15KW batteries to correct the issue but I ended up with 3-5KW batteries which solved nothing. See pics below. This whole experience has been an expensive nightmare for nothing. I am not saving money as I was told but have a debt and a lien on my property. To top it off there is no permit for the solar system which they said was included as part of the job. read more

I recently had a solar panel and battery installation with LA Solar. Shant was the one who handled the sale and project coordination. He did a great job of keeping me abreast of the project's progress. It took me a couple of years to get my finances prepared for the project, and Shant hung in there and did not give up. The electrician who managed and performed my installation was George. I have an extensive construction background, and George did not have a problem when I was watching his work. I must say, he did a great job. He was very understanding when I asked him to make a small adjustment. Now I am in the wait-and-see stage. I depend on LA Solar to help process the paperwork for my rebates and SCE finalization. I am optimistic this stage will proceed without problems. I will provide a follow-up review when all the paperwork has been processed. read more

Los Angeles Solar Pros did an amazing job. Shant and Greg were alway available to answer my questions. Months after my solar panels have been installed, I can say that it was the best decision/investment made. The whole process was smooth and I didn't have to be home when the panel were installed. Thank you, Shant and Greg for the amazing job. read more

I can't recommend Steve and the professionals at LA Solar Pros enough. They gave us clear pricing, helped us arrange financing, and most importantly helped us deal with permitting. The team also is helping us with our SGIP rebate process! This is truly a white glove service. Installation of both the solar panels and 2 PowerWalls was quick and painless, we're now able to run the A/C all day long and have a $0 energy bill. Additionally, they back their product & service. About a year after, we had an Tesla inverter fail (not their fault at all). Greg quickly diagnosed the problem after an on-site visit, ordered a replacement, and we're back online within 10 days. I couldn't be happier with this service. LA Solar Pros will be our go-to installers for all of our solar needs going forward. Most of our community have also retained their services and they continue to impress. read more

Everything was done Quickly and professionally by them. Shant even helped me during my re-roof by removing and reinstalling my existing solar system and then adding an additional 16 panels and 2 Tesla Powerwall to zero out my utility bill. Hi Yelpers... I'm contractor myself and I know from where to start when I'm dealing with home improvement. I called several companies for quite... one gave me price over the phone with 10K tolerance (so funny) the other two came and gave me a quote that was fare. Reason that I choose Los Angeles Solar Pros was not only Shant (project designer) answered all my questions but he could do it sooner and with affordable price. They came on time, did fantastic job and installers was very professional as well. I live in Montebello, CA and this is hardest city to get permit and pass inspection. We passed from first try... Awesome job Shant and Los Angeles Solar Pros team. Definitely recommend to use their service for your solar upgrade... read more

Due to Title 24 requirements, we needed to get solar panels for our newly-built ADU. The ADU is small so the permit only required 2kW of panels, but some of the companies we called weren't willing to do the install because the system is so small. One of them even said the minimum system they would install is 12kW with a battery backup, which is a $25,000 system. When I called Solar Pros, they gave a reasonable price and were willing to build exactly what the plans called for--5 panels, no battery backup. One thing I appreciated is that it's very easy to get a human on the phone and via email. I mostly worked with Shant and Angel, and they were both extremely nice and always answered my questions. We've never had a solar system before so this is all new to me, but so far it's been pretty smooth. They handled all the permitting with the County Bldg & Safety Dept and So Cal Edison, which was nice, because both of those are bureaucratic misery to work with. It all took place surprisingly fast, which was great because it didn't hold up the ADU completion at all. read more

If you're considering solar, give these guys a call. LA Solar Pros are the best. Steve, Haik, Billy, and their entire team are impressively knowledgeable professionals. I had solar panels with a Tesla Powerwall installed. Shant was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the whole process, even going out of his way to help me with a separate issue involving the upgraded electrical panel at my house that was never permitted by the previous owner. Overall, this was a very seamless process and I'm impressed on how quickly everything got installed. Highly recommend Solar Pros! read more

Awesome experience. Professional, fast, and reliable. Definitely a great company to work with.

We had a large system with two batteries installed. We have panels on the main house, detached garage, and an ADU. The Install went smooth. Hyke was great and did everything we asked. Install looks professional and clean with no Micky Mouse tricks. We are about three months into using the system and have had no issues. Shant always responds quickly and is honest about questions he can't answer. We did have an issue were 12 panels were not showing up in the Enphase app. We called Shant and he had a tech there the next day. The roof work was solid and we haven't had any leaks. Overall these guys do a good honest job and are a good choice. read more

We didn't get beyond the contracting stage with these folks. Be very very careful what you sign and get written copies of everything. They may do decent work, we don't know. But they tried to pressure us into something we didn't want to do. read more

LA Solar Pros are great! We got a number of bids for a residential solar system from both the large national companies and smaller local installers. Given our roof layout, the proposals we got were all a little different when it came to panel placement and overall capacity (and all over the place when it came to price). Shant's proposal made the most sense to us, and he and his team also provided the clearest explanation about what actually made sense and why. Solar proposals can be heavy on sales and obscure on details, but the proposal we got from LA Solar Pros was super straightforward, free of fluff, and competitive when it came to pricing and equipment. We really wanted to get our NEM application into Edison before the 2.0 deadline, and Shant made sure we did with time to spare. The installation went really quickly too, just over a day, and our project included some trenching. LA Solar Pros handled everything with SCE and with the county for permits, etc., and all has gone well so far. Everything looks good and is working great, and we're now just waiting for the final step of receiving permission to operate from SCE. Shant and his team have been on top of it and in good communication throughout the project, even as they must have been swamped in the run up to the NEM deadline. Overall our experience with LA Solar Pros has been great; I've already recommended them to a couple of friends and neighbors, and would do so again in a heartbeat to anyone in the market for solar. read more

Ultimate reliability, exceptional service, and outstanding professionalism! LA Solar Pros repaired our solar panel system very quickly and most cost effectively. Our system stopped working over a year ago. The company that had installed the panels had gone bankrupt. Many solar companies declined our request to inspect and repair the system, claiming it to be a liability. After a year of searching and being turned down by many, a friend recommended Los Angeles Solar Pros. Within a couple of days, they were at my property and had the system back up and running in less than two hours! We are truly grateful for the help we got from Stepan, Shant and the rest of the team at LA Solar Pros. We would highly recommend LA Solar Pros for any solar related installation or repair! read more

Before I chose LA Solar Pros, I received quotes from 4 other companies. The price was aligned with others, but what set this company apart for me is the feeling of family. Steve, the owner, was the first person that called me. I immediately felt at ease speaking with him. I didn't feel like he was mansplaining, nor did I feel like I was receiving a sales pitch. He was kind and patient with all of my questions. Shant provided me with a lot of information and gave recommendations on the type of system he thought would be best for my type of home. I never felt pressured and anyone I spoke with was always patient with my never ending questions. I proceeded with LA Solar Pros and began the process. They really did not need me to be home for the preparations they needed to design my system which was great since I have a long commute. They are pretty high tech and used drones to get to the top of my 3 story roof. Their team worked with my HOA and provided everything to have my design approved. When I attended my quarterly HOA meeting recently, the property manager told me that of all the designs she's seen (not just from my community), the designs she received from LA Solar Pros was the most detailed and complete she had seen; she said their engineers did an excellent job on my design. Once HOA approved, my city permit only took a day or two, and installation happened quickly afterwards. I didn't have to be home for that either. The whole process was seamless and easy. I felt comfortable working with everyone who I interacted with. Everyone was professional and most importantly, I felt great knowing I was supporting a family business. read more

LA Solar Pros deserves all the five star reviews they have received. They installed solar panels as well as a battery for my residence. While the installation process took much longer than anticipated (all the rain delays this year, as well as multiple reviews by the city and other issues), LA Solar Pros addressed and resolved everything in the end, which is why I am giving them five stars. Most importantly, Steve M. was a great communicator from beginning to end. I especially appreciate the effort he put into making sure everything was taken care of, especially when the problems were at their worst. He is one of the biggest reasons that I would recommend the company. read more

My wife & I did a great deal of research before determining which company to use, & unequivocally the best quality & price turned out to be LA Solar Pros. Steve spent a great deal of time with us detailing & explaining everything, seeing my generator he even voluntarily told us we didn't need any batteries. Hyke led the crew, & his 18 years of experience shown through from the 1st minute on the job, his 2 fellow workers contributed tremendously to Hyke's work, putting up 32 solar panels in a day & a 1/2. When I got to see the workmanship & the panels I was blown away, as there is no one who could have done a finer job for us. We cannot wait to get our final inspection to have the system turned on to furnish our home with all the Solar power this job will produce, as never seeing an electric bill again will be where the true brilliance of this fantastic job will come through for us forever! Got estimates with 2 other Solar vendors before I went with LA Solar Pros. The price and installation far exceeded my expectations. First off, you're working with a family business so you know that customer focus is going to be top priority. Business is run by Father-Son duo that exemplify customer service/satisfaction. Throughout the project I conversed with both Steve and Shant and couldn't have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable and humble team to work with from start to finish. Design: Steve mapped out where the panels should be placed for optimal performance and sunlight. It didn't occur to me where on the roof it should be placed. He strategically inserted the panels where he knew would get the most sunlight based on how the sun rises/sets. Installation: Their electricians came on time and installed everything in a single day! I didn't even think it was possible considering the scope of work and all the panels I had. Was very pleased with the quality of work they did and the clean up was just as good, which is equally as important. Price: They not only matched the competition, but they beat it and then some! Customer Service: Shant kept me updated on the progress with the LADWP inspection and even met with the inspector to make sure everything was flawless. He routinely checked up on me to see when they could install an EV outlet that I had also requested. His perseverance was endless which is something I appreciated. Shows that he truly cared about my needs. Inclusion, it was a pleasure working with LA Solar Pros! Would definitely recommend them for their services! read more

LA Solar Pros was recommended by a friend and am very pleased with their professionalism and efficiency from the time I received my estimate to the final installation. Steve and especially Shant responded to my questions quickly and was able to start the installation with a few weeks including the permits. Installation took 2 days because I also needed an electrical panel upgrade which they took care of. Solar pros also cleaned up the work area nicely and for whatever reason one of my electrical outlets stopped working. Shant arranged for their electrician to look at the outlet and determined it needed to be replaced, which was completed promptly after purchasing the part. The whole process was stress free for me and I would highly recommend Los Angeles Solar Pros. read more
