We paid this company twice. 1st after the inspection was done, and another after they installed the new inverter for us. We paid what the technician told us was owed on the spot after they did their work. Over 6 months later, we get a call from them stating we did not pay the required installation cost. Do not work with this business! No customer service....Manny or Josh won't answer my calls or emails. Oh my goodness, where do I begin? I bought a new construction home that had solar panels installed and ready to operate by this company. When I called them at solar service professionals, they said all they have to do is to come out to the site, flip a switch, have me download an app and I'd be ready to use my solar panels. A technician came out, Luis, back in November 2025. The process only took an hour, they charged me around $300 for the work and I thought that's it. Then in January 2026 I received my electric bill and I noticed I haven't been getting any credit from the electricity I've been exporting to the grid by my solar panels. I reached back to solar service professionals and was put in touch with Josh to look into this. 3-4 weeks went by, now February 2026, he stated that I don't have PTO and that's why I haven't been getting any credit for my solar power. 2-3 weeks goes by, he said that's gonna cost me around $3000 to obtain the PTO. I reached back to the developer of my house, he reiterated that Manny H. was in charge of the project and all paperworks were done. I also talked to my neighbors who are on the same lot and bought their homes as part of the same project as mine, they said they didn't have to pay anything to get their solars up and running. I emailed Josh and told him this is what I've been told by the developer and my neighbors. He said he's gonna investigate this. That was back in early March, I still haven't heard back from him or anyone in this company with a solution. It has been months of waiting, and I still don't have an answer. I purchased a new home but didn't know how to activate my solar panels, so I contacted this company. They agreed to conduct an inspection and charged me $350. After the inspection, they informed me that a PTO application and minor part replacements were needed, instructing me to wait for a follow-up quote. Then they disappeared. I've contacted them multiple times since then. Except for the first time when they said they'd get back to me shortly, they've been unreachable. The initial inspection was on February 7th. It's now March 3rd, and there's been no follow-up whatsoever. read more

This is in response to your bill for installation of Solar Edge Inverter by Solar Service Professionals at my residence. And it relates to very unprofessional and unacceptable service provided by your installer whose name I believe is Victor Ola. Victor did the installation of replacement of the inverter and called me and reported that installation of the inverter was complete. But then I insisted that I need to review this installation and make sure that the new inverter was producing the electrical power. But as it turned out that he already had disconnected the new inverter. Initially he resisted to start the newly connected inverter. And as apparently a part of an electrical wire in solar subpanel unit was bare and without the insulation, he refused to re-start the newly installed inverter unit as he insisted that presented him a dangerous working condition and according to your company policies, he will not touch the solar sub panel and therefore he refused to re-start the inverter. I could understand his position but then how come he didn't follow your company policy before the start of his work when he found out condition that a part of the wire was bare and without the insulation in solar subpanel but went ahead anyway and did his installation work in this "dangerous condition". Thus, he wasn't ready to have me review whether the installation of the new inverter was proper and would work after he received his payment. This entire episode proves of the double standards employed by your employee and therefore by your company. And this type of service standard considered highly unethical, and I would assume that this type of service appears to be the trademark of your organization. read more

Socal Edison came unexpectedly this past friday afternoon to replace a meter that stopped communicating with the home office. After replacing the meter at my house, Edison said to wait about 5-10 minutes for the solar system to come back up and left. After about 30 mins, the system never came back up. Called Edison to report an outage after their tech left but couldn't get anyone to come out till the next morning. One of my inverters seemed to be in some sort of fault while the other one was dead. Sunrun was of no help and said they can send someone in 3-5 business days at the earliest. In the meantime, I would be without power. I sent a request for an estimate for a solar repair thru yelp and Manny responded. He said I can bypass the inverters and asked for pics of my system. He walked me thru putting the system on bypass over the phone so I can pull power directly from Edison till Sunrun can come out and check out the inverters. Manny was awesome and very helpful. I reached out for a quote and consultation for a solar tankless water heater that my dad had installed on the roof of our family's house years ago, which had begun to leak significantly. Solar Service Professionals wrote back very promptly and explained that this is not something they can service, and they recommended another local L.A. solar company (I'm assuming a competitor) that might be able to help me. It's been sort of hit and miss reaching out to many local repair companies for several maintenance issues on my family's house, so it was nice to have a moment of honest and helpful customer service like this. read more

For the record, I hardly ever take the time to post a review... We received a bill of over $3000. from SCE. When I called to investigate this huge error, we were told oursolor panels have not been working. We have had them for 6 yrs, been great. The company we used, of course no longer in business. The next prob was some companies I called would only work on their own panels. When I call SSP they were very helpful and scheduled an inspection appt for the following week. Luis came as scheduled, very polite. He spent time, not rushed, to look for the issue. Fortunately, the unit was not working due to poor installation of the Jbox. Not a very expensive fix. He took pictures to show us what the problem was and he fixed it. He spent more time with us answering questions we had and explained more about how to monitor the system. He was great. read more
