I picked Solar Vast because they offered Sun Power panels gave me the best deal for Maxeon panels with the option to redo my roof. Sun Power is of the highest quality solar panel companies with excellent warranties. Solar Vast is considered one of their "master" dealers. Ken Lau was my sales rep and he was initially responsive and informative about the process. It took 4-5 months from signing the contact to redo my roof and set up the solar panels. There were some hiccups along the way, but Cindy helped us sort out the issues. My solar system was turned on due to delays from SCE which lasted another 6-8 months. But I finally got my solar system set up last October (1 year after signing the contract) and it has been working well for us so far. read more

Willie and his team were great with communication and installation of my Sunpower solar panels in October 2023. I met Willie through a referral at the height of the NEM 2.0 applications. Solar Vast was swamped with orders and delivered the solar panels within the 6 month promise date. The permits and city approval went of smoothly. Now, 7 months after, I have not had any issues. By the way, Sunpower customer service was helpful when my phone app was not working. I thought the solar panels were not generating energy. It can be overwhelming to know which solar company to go with with so many options out there. Willie from SunPower assisted us 2 years ago with our solar purchase. He was helpful from the beginning and has continued to follow up each year for a system report to make sure our panels are running smoothly. I cannot recommend Solar Vast highly enough. They were in all respects completely courteous and professional, and they installed a state-of-the-art system which I am very happy with. They communicated everything in advance, so I knew what to expect. The sales person I worked with was Vincent. He was at all times knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. He answered all of my many questions. I honestly don't have even a single complaint about anything related to my solar installation. The first company we contacted was through a national discount shopping warehouse. That company produced a good offer, but we decided to shop around. I wanted Sun Power solar panels, if possible, because I believed they would probably last longer and be less likely to fail than panels by their competitors. I found Solar Vast, because they were listed as a Master Dealer on Sun Power's website. They had a lot of positive reviews online, and after dealing with them I can understand why that is! Between the two vendors we were looking at, Solar Vast provided us with more information while we were making our decision. Their solution was technically superior to the other option, because it included micro-inverters on each solar panel vs. a single inverter. The price was comparable, but the competing vendor proposed to install solar panels by a different company (not Sun Power). All things being equal, I'd rather have Sun Power panels. So, we decided to go with Solar Vast. They pretty much handled everything in regard to getting permission from the power company to install the system and turn it on. It did take some time for those approvals, but I think that's to be expected. The installers were professional and courteous. Again, everything was communicated to me, so I knew what to expect. At the end, I received a packet with pictures of the installation and spec sheets of the various components. I couldn't be happier with the experience and the final installation. read more

Once it's signed, they requested the permit for us, and came over for installation. We had grounding issue which they also helped us to fix it. Really glad that I went with Solar Vast. I got quotes from different companies and Vincent was honest, thorough with his explanation and provided me with the best price. From start to finish, he was consistent with checking up on me to make sure I knew what was going on. My SCE bill was around $250 average, even higher during the summer months because of the unbearable SoCal heat. Now, I'm only paying about $120 total! I didn't realize Edison had extra fees on my electric bill, such as the "Public Purpose Programs." I don't know how the solar system works but I'm glad I don't have to worry about it since it is all monitored, insured, and maintained by SunPower. Overall, I highly recommend going solar because the amount that I'm saving is enough to cover my other housing utilities and it's environmental friendly. Double plus!! P.S. To whom it may concern: Im writing to express my frustrations with sunpower. We have been having problems with the solar and till now no one has reached to us. Its been over 2 months and nothing is happening. The problem has not been fixed despite me following up several times as if Im not busy and just sitting at home. I called today again for like the 6th or 7th time and finally someone was able to give me the number to make an appointment. Everytime I called I was instructed that they have sent the request and just wait for the call from technician. After over 2 mos of waiting and being charged by edison for 2 months bill I finally get the phone number to call for appointment. It seems that there is a communication lapse because the number I called to make appointment never received any request from customer hotline that I need service. And after calling to make the appointment the earliest time they can come is Dec. 22. So after waiting for 2 months I have to wait anothe 1 1/2 month meaning I will be billed again by Edison. We average around 200$ a month so that means I have lost 400$ so far plus another 300 for 1 1/2 month. Plus the 86$ a month sunpower has been charging each month for services that was not actually rendered. I AM VERY UPSET FOR THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY INEFFICIENT SYSTEM. read more

I have SunPower solar panels, I bought them from Solar Vast. I already wrote a great review because Solar Vast was perfect during the selling and installation period. Another company was recently polishing my concrete floor and when they attached their machines to my electrical panel (they had to open it and remove the front cover) the power went off and solar panels were also disconnected. That concrete polishing company messed up something in my electrical panel so I could not connect again the solar panels. I had to call Solar Vast, and in few minutes a technician was there and fixed everything. He also checked my panels because it seemed to me like one panel was not parallel and well aligned with the others. But instead everything was good. I did not have to pay anything, Solar Vast was very responsive and effective, and fixed everything very quickly. I am very happy with them, I would have not trusted another electrician (the concrete polishing company had also an electrician), because solar panels are important and delicate, I don't want to mess up things in the electrical panel. It was - clearly - during the covid-19 period and the Solar Vast technician was very careful in wearing masks, gloves, keeping distance etc. Thank you Solar Vast!
