The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. Reached out and added 5 more panels and an addition enphase 5P battery which was completed end of 2025 for the incentives. I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar. I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. I began my solar journey in July 2025 this year after the change in deadline for the Tax Credits. I was not looking to put solar on, but my hand was forced. After reviewing multiple solar offers, I landed on Infinity Solar. They were not the least expensive, but the quality of the sales experience gave me the confidence that they were the installer to choose. Sales I walked into my solar journey knowing exactly what I wanted: Enphase ecosystem with REC panels, micro inverters, 6C combiner and 10C batteries. Walter did a great job of answering my questions, putting together a proposal and being patient while I made my decision. The proposal was detailed and concise with all the information I needed. Design Once the decision was made in early August, a final design was made. Tim and his crew came out and we discussed options for panel setup, battery placement and connections to the combiner and the new main panel. A detailed design plan was created and sent for my approval. After a couple of changes, we were ready for City Permitting in early September. This is where things are out of everyone's hands, so please be warned that permitting can take a lot of time, in my case, 2 months. The team kept on top of project and delt with any questions from the city. Install In mid November (that's 2 months for people keeping track at home), install began. The team arrived on time that morning and began work. I walked through with the team the placement of all the equipment, the conduit runs in the attic and other miscellaneous items. All the guys were professional, courteous and efficient. The solar and battery equipment was all installed in one day. The following week, technicians came out and performed my main panel upgrade. The job they did was excellent. All the wiring in the panel was clean and neat. The stucco repair was great; paint matching where you can't tell the difference. The City came out and performed their inspection and passed it as a final. The inspected noted how clean the install was. Commissioning and PTO The Meter Collar and PTO was applied for, and Edison came out withing the week (surprise) to install the collar. Went smooth and the Edison tech was also commenting on how well the team prepared the site. In the last couple of days, an Infinity Tech came out and commissioned the system. After a few hiccups, we got it all going. Final remarks One thing that I would say in the slight negative is the design process. Any changes, whether they be mistakes or owner changes, took a long time, adding delay to get to permitting. Now his might be related to the rush of solar installs before the end of 2025, but it was something that added to the anxiety of getting the job done. Now that all being said, I want to thank everyone at Infinity Solar for all their efforts in getting my system installed before the end of the year. We had Infinity Solar install our solar panel system last year right before the federal tax credit changed, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Tim, the owner, was incredibly helpful walking us through the whole design process and figuring out the perfect system capacity for our home. He's genuinely passionate about solar and it shows in everything he does. We went with REC solar panels and two Tesla Powerwall batteries, and the fact that Infinity Solar is a Tesla Certified Installer gave us total confidence. We had just finished redoing our roof, and once that was done their solar installation crew coordinated seamlessly with the roofer and knocked out the entire install in one day. super impressive! Their project coordinator kept us updated every step of the way, handled all the permit approvals, and managed the back-and-forth with Edison for the utility. The only hiccup was scheduling the final utility inspection at the very end, but that had zero to do with Infinity Solar. Everyone was scrambling to beat the tax credit deadline, so the utility company was completely backlogged. Even then, our project coordinator Sara went way above and beyond -- she literally met with a utility rep in person and got the inspector out way sooner than expected. That kind of service is unforgettable. We're thrilled with the whole system and already recommended Infinity Solar to our neighbor. She shopped around and compared a bunch of solar companies, but what won her over was how long they've been in business and how on top of the latest products and technology they stay. I'm not someone who rushes big decisions--especially ones involving technology, reliability, and long-term integration. After our original solar installer went out of business, I started researching companies to retrofit our system and add battery storage. I took my time, got quotes from several companies, and dug deep into equipment specs, warranties, and business stability. Contractor Selection Infinity Solar rose to the top quickly. They're a local, family-owned company, and both Tim (owner) and Sara (project manager) were knowledgeable, patient, and accessible throughout the process. I never felt pressured or rushed. They were upfront about everything--from newer technologies to logistical complications with retrofitting--and even walked me through tariff-related cost changes so we could come to a fair agreement. There was only one other solar company that was competitive from a price standpoint. Hardware and System Design We installed REC panels with Franklin aPower2 and Enphase microinverters. Design-wise, our roof is complicated--multiple angles, plus an existing solar pool heating system. Infinity's team worked around all of that, color-matched the conduit to the house, and met every detail of our strict HOA requirements. The final layout is clean, efficient, and aesthetically solid. After retiring the original gas furnace and installing a heat pump we wanted to upgrade our 60 year old house with solar to pay the electric bill. Using Yelp reviews to narrow down our search we were between a local company and a San Diego company that did two houses for a friend and came highly recommended. After asking a few questions to the local guy, I felt like I was bothering him and even though the S.D. company assured me that the distance was, "No problem", I didn't feel quite right about them either. Then I called Infinity and spoke with Kay, admittedly by then I was pretty sure knew want I wanted, but after talking with her for 10 minutes, I told my family that I had found the right place. Our electrician had hidden all the needed conduit inside the walls when he did our panel upgrade and made it really easy to run the wiring for the solar panels. The local guy said, "$600 if we have to go in the attic"; Kay said, "We can do that". The estimate was similar to the other two but we were getting a larger system with higher rated REC panels and a 25 year warranty on the system. After signing up, Blake took care of our plans, Claudia took care of our money and then Sara took great care of our job and keeping us informed of each step along the way. After all the plans were approved and signed off work started 60 days after speaking with Kay and this was included the Christmas holidays. Their head technician Ben arrived at 8 AM with 3 installers and you immediately knew that he was the man and this was the crew you wanted doing your job. Infinity Solar was recommended to me and I have not been disappointed. We started the process a couple of years ago to ensure we fell into the NEMS 2.0 and our experience with Infinity from start to finish has been exceptional. From our initial consultation with Kyle, through installation, including the addition of a TESLA battery this year, we have had nothing but a positive experience. My system consists of 23 Enphase panels, each paired with a iQ8 micro-inverter, upgraded my main electrical panel and added a subpanel to my garage. We also added a TESLA battery this year. After receiving our initial PTO from SCE, I noticed an issue with one of the panels. I sent an email explaining what I was seeing on the Enphase App, Sara immediately started investigating and was able to find that a couple of the panels serial numbers had been reversed. Boom. Problem solved. In fact, anytime I have had any questions, once I reach out, I have never had to wait more than a day for an answer. After the final city inspection for our newly installed TESLA Powerwall 3, Christian located what appeared to be faulty breaker in the main panel. He brought it to my attention and proceeded to diagnose what the breaker was impacting in the house and was able to switch a spare breaker with the faulty one which resolved the issue and promised to return with a new breaker to replace the bad one. He went well beyond expectations and provided the very best service that isn't so common these days. Before he left for the day, he made sure to explain how the battery worked, provided several videos on the various aspects and made sure that I had no questions. To sum it up, we have received excellent, professional service from the entire team over at Infinity. They provided the best price for our installation, provided comprehensive service that went above and beyond expectations. I wanted to at least give 2 stars, but now that everything is wrapped up, I feel like the experience overall was frustrating enough to warrant 1 star. The good: our system has been installed, and a month after installation, is finally working correctly. However, to get to this point required an excessive amount of overhead from my partner and I following up, asking questions, taking pictures, and trying to get answers about things we relied on Infinity Solar being experts in. We got bids from several local solar companies - Infinity Solar was not the lowest price, but we decided to go with them because of the great experience we had with our Sales Representative, Kay (Kay gets 5 stars). She was knowledgeable, super responsive, and made us feel that this company would be the best choice in terms of quality installation and customer service. As soon as we stopped working with Kay things went downhill. - The initial inspector didn't find the solar conduit in our attic, so their initial drafted plans ran conduit on the outside of our home and had to be updated to accommodate our HOA's needs. - We regularly had to send multiple emails/texts to our project coordinator to get answers to questions or confirm scheduling details. - Our installation date was scheduled, canceled, tentatively rescheduled, canceled, and rescheduled - all requiring multiple inquiries from us to confirm what was actually going on. After our blueprint plans were approved by the city, we waited over a week to hear back from Infinity Solar. After we reached out to them, we were told at 1PM the install would be happening the next day, and by 4PM that plan was canceled. We waited another week to reach out to ask about getting things rescheduled and had to follow up with our project coordinator and sales representative to confirm an actual install date. - We were told our install would be completed in 1 day - it ended up being 2 full days + an additional ~4 hours on the day of the city inspection to get everything ready (and it STILL required extra work to get everything set up properly). - On the day of the install, the installation team told us they wouldn't be able to execute what was drawn up in the approved plans, and we had to frantically contact our HOA, day of, to confirm the new plans (this was a ton of overhead put on us last minute). - When the installers didn't finish Day 1, they said they would be storing their lift in our community. We told them keeping oversized vehicles on the property was against the HOA rules and we couldn't guarantee the safety of their vehicle, but they parked there anyway. - On the day of the city inspection, the team did not contact us at all, but entered our property to work on the battery and with the inspector anyway (we found out afterwards when we saw them on our side yard camera). - The initial installation of the battery wall was crooked. We mentioned this multiple times and were told it would be fixed when things were finished. On the day the team came to turn the power on, we mentioned it again, and the technicians agreed the install was not correct, which meant ADDITIONAL work getting the battery braced on our wall correctly (see pictures for before and after), so ~3 total days of work to get these installed right. Infinity Solar does use sub-contractors for installation, so depending on who you get it seems like the quality can fluctuate. - In multiple instances, we were told we would get follow up information (scheduling info, names of who would be coming to our place, etc.) that were simply never sent to us. - When submitting the NEM3 contract to SCE, Infinity Solar input the wrong model information about the battery they installed, delaying our Permission to Operate. - After receiving our Permission to Operate, we were not actually sending excess energy to the grid, which we only noticed by monitoring the EverVolt app ourselves. Our initial email to Infinity Solar asking for help got no response, so we had to bump the email again a few days later (this was normal for pretty much all communication) and when customer service replied, they said it was our fault for not following instructions for allowing energy sell-back...except instructions were NEVER SENT TO US. We had been told during install that we didn't need to do anything. They told us to access a part of the app that was password protected, we had no password. They told us to enable a setting, we were never told this setting existed. Finally, 11 days after our actual PTO was approved, our system was sending back to the grid correctly. The whole process (sans interacting with Kay) was extremely frustrating, and while I'm glad the system is working now, I'm dreading anything going wrong and having to follow-up with Infinity Solar to troubleshoot the issue. If you have free time to manage your solar project yourself, maybe this is fine for you, but for two full-time working adults, this was ~3 months of having a part time job. read more

I'm not sure if this is a concern yet, but I've been having trouble contacting the company for the past few days. The project involves adding several batteries to my existing solar system and was officially signed on April 1, 2025. I reached the 2nd major milestone on April 16th, the 3rd milestone on July 25th, and have been waiting for a final inspection since then. I set out to add two Powerwall 3's and two expansion packs with the thought that in the future I would add more solar to my system. I had been looking around for a Tesla installer and Infinity Solar happened to be local to me. After trying another installer I called Infinity Solar and spoke with Sara and told her what I wanted to do. She listened and got me connected with Kay Syeda to discuss the system I wanted, and the options that I had. Kay did the layout and quote versions as we worked to the final project of two Powerwall 3's and two expansion packs. I working with her decided to add thirteen more solar panels to my system. Kay got the packages together as we went from eleven to thirteen solar panels. Kay and I went over the system all the details with Kay answering my quesions. We then did a docusign to get started. The next step Jordan the electrician came by and we walked thu the location of the Powerwall 3's, expansion packs, solar panels and where the gateway was going to go. This was all to my satifaction and Jordan was great. Things moved pretty fast after that and within a week the documents were ready to go over to the city. After about two weeks plans were approved and not to long after a install date was setup. The install took two days for my configuration. The fire and city inspection went off without a hitch and I am operating now. I want to give two big shoutouts,one to the elecrician Ivan and team, and also to Kay who worked with me, answered my quesitons and got what I needed. Talking about Ivan and team I will start this out by saying that I am a retired aerospace enginner and programmer that is a type a personality and I am very picky on how work is done. The install was well organized, Ivan and I talked before the install started to make sure we were on the same page. I became very comfortable as I watched the team work. There was division of labor as Ivan focused on the electrical items like the service panel along with mounting of the Powerwall 3's and expansions. The others were on the roof adding the solar panels. At times Ivan would answer quesions on tasks others were doing and people would go back and forth assisting when needed. I initially wanted to get just a back up battery for my home due to the sporadic "brown outs" here in Southern California during the summer. After much research, I decided on an REC Solar Panel system with a FranklinWH battery back up. I contacted over a dozen solar companies, many of which either tried to sell me a PPA(Lease) or were a middle man who subcontracted all their work. After extensive research and calling both REC and FranklinWH, I found Infinity Solar and I couldn't be happier with the process. Nick in sales walked me through the process and a rough design of my system with optimal production in mind. He answered all my questions, provided a complete install package and let me be. No pushy sales tactics. I decided to purchase the system outright to take advantage of the soon to be ending 30% tax credit. Ultimately this was the deciding factor to no longer hold off on the system. Blake in plans and permitting made the process seamless with the City. Salvador, Ivan and his crew showed up on time on the install date and walked me through all the features and installation process. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure the conduits and installed equipment was aesthetically pleasing as possible by running conduit in the crawl space and minimizing the conduit exposure on the walls. They event painted over any conduit that was exposed to match the stucco. Overall the crew was very friendly and had my system up and running before COB, with minimal electricity down time. We initially got a solar quote from Tesla, then read about many unhappy customers and bad/slow customer service. Then we started reading reviews of local installers and reached out to Infinity Solar. They responded immediately and had someone out to give me a quote quickly. Their quote was better than Tesla's and communication great too. So we decided to go with them. She was great to deal with and answered all my questions. The project manager Sara then took over and was quick to respond on questions and kept me informed of everything throughout the steps. The actual install by Chava, Adrian, Arni, Jose and Erick was smooth and the guys did an exceptional job. I just had an electrician install an EV charger and he praised the work saying it was one of the best solar installs he's ever seen. While I do feel like it was a long process, the main reason it took a long time was Edison taking so long to approve everything. Infinity Solar is a saving grace in the solar industry. My installer no longer was in business and I noticed my SCE bill was thru the roof. Come to find out, some of my optimizers from solar edge were no working. I contacted infinity Solar through a close friend who used them to install panels and had a great experience. Ashley helped me Through the whole experience and it was smooth. They sent out technicians to fix installation issues that my previous installer did incorrectly and rewired five of my panels. The previous installer did not map my panels correctly so Solar Edge could not diagnose my issues correctly. My optimizers are all functioning now. The experience was great and they were very transparent through the whole process. They had the best prices around. They have a customer in me and I'll be recommending them to everyone I know.
