+ Shaded Tesla charging station. + Just a 2-3min walk away…read morefrom the Park Place food court, where you can dine or grab groceries. + Plenty of shaded non-charging spots to park at, given it's a parking structure, if you need to leave your car for a bit afterward. + Unlike other parking structures, the walls of this one doesn't disrupt cell service. TMo 4G worked fine for me while charging Tesla in the 2F. + The two free open-play pickleball courts are just a 5min walk away. - Tricky to navigate to. The parking structure has two entrances. A paid one on the side, and a 2hr-free one on the front. - Crowded.

Finally a Tesla Supercharger in Irvine! This is a bitter sweet addition because I literally ran out…read moreof free miles a week before, but the Tesla drivers in Irvine got a supercharger. Despite having the ability to charge at home, I went here and paid just to try it out. It was glorious. I avoid this plaza due to parking but who knows maybe I will be working here someday one of the high rise companies. If your a hiring manager hit me up for your marketing needs! Anyways, this location is not ideal due to parking however it's not bad for people commuting to Irvine. Dealing with parking is still worth the pain over driving to the other OC chargers for no reason. You live, work, or travel to Irvine for a reason why would you want to go anywhere else. Enjoy the bubble. Located on the second floor of the garage. Drive past LA fitness to the garage entrance and drive up the ramp as if you are trying to make it to the 3rd level. You will find the location on the 2/3 level right before the ramp. In other words keep going up. You won't see it otherwise because the superchargers are in a line so there are no visible Telsa logos. If you see a another Tesla follow it. Great job Tesla but we need more... I'm going to rant for a moment because Irvine is #5 on Tesla emissions saving chart with possibly the highest per cap concentration in a CA city hub. Irvine has a ton of commuter traffic, travelers both business and personal, multiple Universities and local residents and not too far from Disneyland. Cough! We need more superchargers. I will charge at home but think of all the Tesla fam that might live in an apartment or want to go electric. Irvine has one SC but there are 2 Tesla sales showrooms in the bordering cities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. Hmmm. Doesn't add up. Before you discount my comments. In NorCal if you travel to Dubin/San Ramon, there are literally 3 or 4 superchargers placed near freeway exits. I can't get on the freeway without passing one. That needs to be Irvine! Interested in purchasing a Tesla. You can use my referral code to get 1,000 free Supercharger miles on a new Tesla: ts.la/jason15916

The important thing to know is that if you come during the holidays or on a weekend, it will be busy. The good thing is, as long as you don't mind parking on the very upper levels and walking a bit, I've always been able to find parking. But if you don't like walking at all, this probably isn't the center for you, and there's a lot of walking if you want to explore everything! What I love about this center is that you have everything from Nordstrom to Target, literally! You can find some very unique restaurants, along with typical chains, so there's something for everyone. We'll occasionally see a movie here as well, but that's another review. What impresses me the most is how well-maintained and clean everything is. Even the elevators in the parking garages are graffiti-free, which is very unusual. Now, not all the locations have maintained their interiors as well, but that's on them and not the Irvine Spectrum. My favorite time to come is still in December. We've always found the night atmosphere to have a lot of great energy. And yes, there are a lot of teens who hang around and have loud fun; they're harmless and add to the energy.

A great walking mall...a gathering place for Central OC…read more... There are a lot that are new and changes. A new Apple Store, a Columbia store and a Nike store. On the weekend there are simply more people. The first mall in America with a Nordstrom and a Target. One of the first mall with a 20 plex movie theater. Now it is a Regal--no longer an Edward. The changes keeps happening, but it is always filled with shops--no empty, open space. I like to walk my nephew's dogs here. They like it here as well. Everyone is happy. Ray out!

    Rove Charging

This is what EV charging should look like…read more As a Tesla owner, I've charged at a lot of stations over the years, and Rove is by far one of the nicest charging facilities I've been to. The first thing that stood out was the size of the station. There are 40 DC fast chargers, including 27 Tesla chargers, so finding an available charger wasn't an issue. The entire facility feels modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with large solar canopies providing shade over the charging stalls. What really separates Rove from a typical charging stop is everything else they offer. There's a ReCharge by Gelson's market with snacks, drinks, and fresh food, a comfortable lounge with free Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, a car wash, complimentary vacuums, and even a water bottle filling station. It feels more like a premium travel stop than a charging station. I especially appreciated the little details. The property was spotless, there was security on site, and the complimentary vacuums were a nice touch. The facility feels safe, well-maintained, and welcoming whether you're stopping for 15 minutes or a longer charge. The location is also convenient right off the 5 Freeway, making it an easy stop while traveling through Orange County. As EV adoption continues to grow, this is exactly the type of charging experience I'd like to see more of. Plenty of chargers, great amenities, clean facilities, and a comfortable place to spend your charging time. If you're an EV owner and haven't checked out Rove yet, it's worth the stop.

Rove Charging has a great layout and a lot of potential. I would strongly encourage the company to…read moreopen additional locations near Stanton and Garden Grove, where there are many Tesla and other EV drivers. A location in this area would be much more convenient and could attract a large number of customers. The current location is far from many EV drivers and is surrounded by bumpy roads and potholes. The free Wi-Fi also displayed an unsecured network warning and appeared to have a certificate issue, which made me uncomfortable connecting. The coffee selection was very limited as well. Overall, the concept is good, and I hope Rove Charging expands to more convenient locations and improves these areas.
