He was able to manufacture the gutters onsite with no seams and even painted inside the gutters to hide the original aluminum color. The price came in a bit cheaper than some other quotes I received but what really sold me was Sam! He called out all the potential issues well in advance and we tackled them together to come up with a solution that looks great and avoids and standing water! Three, the original (undiscounted) estimate was $43,000 for copper ( 130 linear feet plus 90 downspout) or $200 a linear ft. $7,800 for aluminum. $200 a ft for copper is 5 times what we paid another company. The service tech, very friendly, also kept me updated when he was running late, which I appreciated. That said, the overall experience was a little mixed. When he arrived, I was surprised to find him in my backyard rather than coming to the front door first. I was also told cleaning my 25-27 solar panels would take about 45 minutes, but the job ended up taking closer to 2-2.5 hours. Def messed up my Saturday evening plans. There was also a safety issue while he was on the roof. His ladder was slipping on my shingle roof, and he had to call a coworker to help him get down safely. I do appreciate that he took safety seriously, but it was still a bit concerning as a customer. For the inconvenience, he said he would charge me $200, which was only $1 less than the price I had been offered the day before by the door-to-door representative. Overall, the panels look really great and the cleaning itself was good, but the communication, timing, safety concern, and pricing left me feeling like this was a 3-star experience.

He made no mention at this time that he was booked through the end of June. Most companies would let you know this when first contacting them. In addition to this, we referred him to a real estate agent colleague who had him clean a client's house at the beginning of the year and Eddie went crazy when they paid him the day after the job rather than the day of. All other tradespeople are fine being paid the following day in this type of situation.

He had three appointments ahead of mine that ended up taking longer than expected, but he proactively let me know he was running behind. I really appreciated the communication. He still arrived within the updated time frame he promised. Jake cleaned our 16 solar panels in about 30 minutes, took before-and-after photos, and cleaned up the area when he was finished. The whole process took less than 45 minutes. The job was fast, but definitely not rushed--the panels looked great. The results were immediate. Our solar production increased from 2.6 kWh to 4.2 kWh, a 60%+ improvement just from having the panels cleaned. Before the cleaning, we were only producing around 3.5 kWh during peak hours, and the post-cleaning reading of 4.2 kWh was taken in the morning. I can't wait to see how much energy they'll produce this afternoon. Highly recommend Jake if you're looking for someone who's reliable, communicative, fairly priced, and delivers excellent results.

The two-man crew arrived on time, was friendly and professional, took great care while working inside the house, and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. The windows looked dramatically better afterward. What impressed me most was their honesty. A few of the older double-pane windows have failed seals, and they explained that no amount of cleaning could remove the cloudiness between the panes. They also found that several of the old window screens had deteriorated to the point where they couldn't be safely reinstalled and took the time to explain why. There was also a small misunderstanding about what I meant by the patio cover when we scheduled the job. Once they saw it, they actually offered to remove the extra charge because it wasn't what they had expected. Since they still took the time to clean it as best they could, I asked them to leave the charge on the invoice. From scheduling through completion, communication was excellent. I really appreciate businesses that do quality work, communicate honestly, and treat customers fairly. I'd definitely hire them again.
