After meeting with Adam and several other contractors, I decided to go with Patio Guy not only because of his five-star rating, but several other factors that were important to me (and probably you as well): 1) He could deliver and install my new cover within a week vs. the other guys taking months; 2) I wasn't limited to just the AlumaWood product (which wasn't modern enough for me), and (3) his price to install with an upgraded cover (insulated) was far below his competitors constrained by higher overhead and slower delivery times. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. Just had new patio completed from Patio Guy and could not be happier. From start to finish Adam, Brody and team were tremendous! Online quote was simple and easy to follow. Adam came down next day for a detailed quote and Brody and team build new patio up in less than two days a couple weeks later. Would have been one day but they had to remove my old leaking patio otherwise it would have been one day job. 40 ft × 11 ft are dimensions for new patio which adds significant amount of usable patio space for us. Extremely happy with our new patio cover and 100% recommend Patio Guy! I got 5 quotes to replace a nearly 50 year old pergola with a patio cover. I was looking at an aluminum product to avoid needing to deal with wood maintenance and to get a fully covered patio. Adam from Patio Guy came and gave me an excellent no pressure estimate. 2 of the other contractors tried to use high pressure sales tactics (a major turn off to me using them) and the other 2 were nearly 3 times the price for an equivalent product. After booking with Patio Guy, the process could not have been more seamless. I got regular text message updates about the status of products, technicians and install dates. Sydney at Patio Guy did a great job fielding questions I had whenever they came up, whether about payments, adjusting the items on the estimate (I ended up doing some demo and electrical myself since I know how already so got those removed), or setting dates for appointments. Once materials were ready, the install was quick and efficient. Brody from Patio Guy came to install the patio. His communication and professionalism was top notch, and the team that came with him were amazing! My new patio cover was installed in less than a day and looked great, has provided an excellent amount of uncover, and came out exactly as I envisioned. Additionally, we identified a way that the drainage on our patio cover could be improved after the patio had already been installed. Patio Guy came back out and modified the drainage setup as we requested quickly and efficiently (and free of charge). I don't often write reviews, but that kind of post-install service follow-up is increasingly a rarity with any contractor nowadays (especially after payment is completed) and really pushed me to write this review. Alright, first things first - the owner, Adam, should teach a course on customer service. He went above and beyond simply by communicating. A novel concept in the construction world. I just replaced my rotting wood patio cover with an Alumawood one. I got four estimates before deciding on Patio Guy. The owner, Adam, was very knowledgeable and the pricing was competitive. My husband and I recently had our solid patio cover installed (just last week) which we already love after only having it for 1 week. Adam (the owner) was very easy to work with and knowledgeable with fair prices. I appreciate that he brought to our attention the benefit of having gutters installed prior to installation of the cover and was able to provide us with a contact which we went through which is much appreciated. The price included purchase and installation of the cover and lights, assembly of the fan and the county permit. All we had to do was purchase the outdoor fan which Adams coworkers assembled day of installation. The installation process took 1 day from approximately 8am - 2pm which included 3 guys (Brent, Charles and Cory) who were all very respectful, professional and easy to work with. They double checked with me regarding any questions I had prior to starting and confirmed multiple choices ahead of starting the installation which was much appreciated. They accessed the power from one of our upstairs rooms to allow for us to use the fan without having all the ceiling lights on. They also showed me how to use the fan and went over all maintenance of the cover prior to leaving. Lastly, I appreciated that they cleaned up their mess before leaving. Two days after installation the county inspector signed off on the electrical and few days later the lights/electrical was completed by one of Adam's co-workers (which was required to not be completely assembled for the inspection). Altogether the project was finalized within 1 week. All the lights and fan were fully functional even while waiting for inspection/final completion. Even with the pandemic and some back ordering from the manufacturing company we were able to complete this process within 8 weeks. This was my second aluminum patio installed by patio guy. My first cover was done in 2017 and I have had zero issues with it. For this new cover, I requested a quote, and they responded very quickly with a rough estimate. A few days later, i had Adam out to talk design and work out the details. They told me that they had everything in stock and could install the next morning! The next morning! Pretty amazing that you can have someone out for a quote for a patio cover, and be sitting under it less than 20 hours later. My only regret was waiting so long to do it. It's my new favorite space. When Adam showed up to talk design details, he noticed my other patio cover and recognized his team's work. I mentioned a minor design issue that I had with it. Not a flaw in workmanship, but just an issue with where water was running off that we hadn't thought of when it was built. To be honest, I expected him to forget about it, because i didn't really make a big deal over it.
