Gluten Free pepperoni
Ellie M.

The best gluten free pizza I've ever had!! Hands down! I was doubtful that it was gluten free, tbh. My family and I have been going to this pizzeria for a while. However, for health reasons I try to follow a gluten free diet. It's really hard to pass up their regular pizza, the dough is delicious. Though, I'm glad I tasted the GF. It's the best! The prices are a little on the higher side but very well worth it. Service is quick and easy. The establishment is a little small in my opinion. I feel that it can be a little bit more open.

I was searching for a good place around the area of Manteca and this came up in Ripon which I don't mind driving it was not that far . Yelp did not disappoint. I'm a pizza lover and this really hit the spot . Walking in I was not sure what to expect I saw a lot of tables and I was not sure to find a seat or wait for a waiter, I was kinda confused. I quickly realize it's open seating and you order at the cash register. They have a lot of space and we had a big group so we chose to sit inside a room where they had a bigger tables. We ordered the breadsticks they were so delicious!! The breadsticks came in a shape of a pizza loaded of cheese goodness ! I highly recommend ordering the breadsticks so good ..We ordered a pepperoni pizza , barbecue chicken and the gold dust combo, which was my favorite! These pizzas have generous portions . They are loaded with cheese and all the goodies. They are definitely not shy on the toppings and I love that . I really enjoyed all the flavors we all did . We are glad we decided to come here. They had clean bathrooms next to the bathrooms there is a little game area for kids. It has two of the vintage games and some little quarter machines. The decor inside the restaurant had a Gold Rush theme . which it continued with the menu, some of the pizza names were of the Gold Rush theme which I like how they continued it. Overall, the pizza was very delicious. I didn't really interact with anybody because we ordered at the counter. Everyone seemed nice and attentive bringing the food out they asked if we needed anything else and brought out ranches and stuff we needed fairly quickly and they were very nice. The pizza was very delicious. I would definitely be coming back.

First time trying this pizza spot and it blew me away. Probably one of the better pizza places I've been recently. The restaurant was pretty spacious and had a nice vintage vibes to it inside, very rich in history. The pizza and cheese bread sticks they had are amazing! The food was served hot and fresh. The pizza was very flavorful to the crust. Their ranch was pretty good, really put everything together. One thing to note is the service. The service could have been better. Took me awhile to get extra ranch and my togo box for my leftovers. Nonetheless the experience was amazing and will definitely be back for the pizza and cheese breadsticks! Overall I give this restaurant a solid 4/5 star review. The pizza and cheese bread sticks blew me away. Super cheesy!

Gold Dust Pizza is seriously one of my favorite spots! We had the white sauce pizza with chicken and the BBQ chicken pizza -- both were insanely delicious! The flavors were bold, the crust was perfect, and the toppings were super fresh. We also tried the chicken wings, and they were full of flavor and cooked just right. I honestly wish there was a location closer to us... but maybe it's a good thing there isn't, because I'd probably eat here every day! Can't wait to come back for more -- and the fact that it's right by the Ice Cream Emporium makes it even better! Ambiance was such a cool area and service wasn't too bad, order and sit/ go.

Gold dust pizza absolutely rocks! The pizza here is a 10/10. You can tell they use high quality ingredients in everything they do here. You can taste the quality in everything bite. The crust is outstanding, the sauce is super flavorful, and the cheese is so gooey and delicious. We decided to stop by Gold dust because we were at Boomers in Modesto. Living in Stockton, Ripon is just a little too far to go just for pizza, but since we would be passing through Ripon on the way home it was a no brainer to stop by Gold dust for some of the best pizza that money can buy. On this visit my wife and I got salads and ordered a cheese pizza. The salads were super fresh and very tasty. A few minutes after we finished our salads our pizzas were brought out to us by a very friendly worker. I have found a key to eating cheese pizza from gold dust is to let it cool down for a bit or due to the amount of cheese on the pizza, it will slide off when you take a bite. So while eagerly awaiting to dive in I ordered an ice cold beer and took a few sips while I waited. The pizza was definitely worth the wait. I loved everything about it. This is a must have if you are anywhere around Ripon. You will not be disappointed.

I love pizza way too much and I love finding and trying out new pizzerias. My bf and I came across this place when we were scrolling Yelp for a new spot to try out and with the many good reviews, we had to go for it. We ordered takeout for our Friday night vibes so didn't get to experience the dine-in vibes but it was packed inside! There's plenty of seating and private party rooms as well. The service was quick and friendly and I appreciate how affordable their pizza is. We ordered a medium half veggie and half white chicken pizza. They definitely make some really good pizza and ranch too! If we're ever back in the area, we would definitely try Gold Dust again.

The Digger pizza (Cheese, Salami, Pepperoni, Mushroom, Black Olive, Sausage)

I stopped by for lunch while I was in the area for an event at the Mistlin sports park. It's a quick drive from there. The pizza: The pizza is filling like a Chicago deep dish with its thick crust and generous toppings, but it's not quite as heavy as one (the crust is definitely different than a Chicago deep dish; this pizza is closer to a typical American style pizza). Pizzas loaded with this many toppings tend to suffer from a soggy crust & possibly need a fork and knife to not be messy, but not this one. The bottom was nice and crispy (without being burnt). I was able to hold up the slice in my hand and eat it rather than fork and knifing it. I tried the Digger (Red Sauce, Cheese, Salami, Pepperoni, Mushroom, Olive, & Sausage), which was a great combination of toppings. The beer: They had 8-10 beers or so on tap ranging from swill (coors light) to stuff like Mind Haze and Lagunitas IPA to cali squeeze. Nothing from any tiny, local breweries except for maybe one beer I hadn't heard of before. The beer is relatively cheap. You can get pints or mega size glasses or pitchers. The inside: - the layout is kinda weird. There's 3 entrances and you have to walk up to the counter in the middle of the restaurant to place your order. It feels kinda squished and narrow, esp if you're there when it's busy. - the weird layout may be beneficial for larger parties since there are areas that can be sectioned off for your group. - the weird layout means you may need to squeeze by people waiting in line to get to the soda fountain and bathrooms. - there's several big screen TVs where they were showing football games on. - the bathroom was remarkably clean. There's a couple unisex full room bathrooms. - there's a very tiny "Arcade" in the back. There's one full size, standup video game machine which looked like it had multiple games to choose from. And what looked like quarter machines for little plastic junk toys. I just briefly spotted this on the way to the bathroom so my impression of it may not be entirely accurate. - the gold miner theme is kinda nice. I like me a themed restaurant. Although the place was quite busy when I went, the employees were still nice and friendly. I'd definitely go back here.

Love Gold Dust pizza!!! I will make a special trip here every time I am in the area. It never disappoints! The BBQ and white chicken are my favorites! The salad is packed full and has lots of toppings. The ranch is the BEST I have had! To top it off the staff is always so kind and helpful!!! This place is a must!

Always have a great time here. The pizza is delicious but those bread sticks are so good!! It's usually busy but I never have an issue finding a table. Food: 5/5 Ambiance:4/5 Service: 5/5

Bone in Wings buffalo flavor

Best wings with amazing flavor! They put a perfect amount of sauce and have a good texture. I didn't get a picture of our pizza but we ordered a medium with pepperoni, jalapeño and sausage. So good, baked to perfection with thin crust. The atmosphere was welcoming and the employees were very friendly! We'll definitely be back to try more wing flavors and pizza.

Wow! The ambiance is phenomenal. We went to celebrate my brother's bday and had a great time regardless of how packed it was. The food was amazing, plus we had never tried the mozzarella breadsticks and they were phenomenal?? We also tried the garlic but were too salty for my liking. Pizzas were great. Not too long of a wait + everyone was so nice!

We have been hearing from everyone in Manteca that the best pizza is in Ripon at Gold Dust Pizza! My man and I were feeling like a pizza so we took the short 9 mile drive to Ripon and got the speciality Motherlode pizza. We got the original crust which is a bit on the thicker side as we normally go for thin crust pizza. We wanted to try it in its original form, we can always ask for thin crust next time! They also offer a cauliflower crust for a few bucks more which may be another good option for us in the future. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered over the phone as we figured it would take a few minutes to cook. The restaurant quoted us 25-30 minutes and it was done in 25! The ambiance of the whole downtown Ripon including this restaurant is a small old town vibe. They have a gorgeous old cash register on the counter for display as they are using three newer modern registers instead. Still it was cool to see. There were several rooms within the restaurant and tables and booths all throughout the place. It was a tad cramped but understandably so as the entire place was packed when we visited at 6:45 pm on a Saturday night. So now let's talk about the actual taste of the pizza and if the drive was worth it. The pizza weighs quite a bit as they definitely don't skimp on toppings. The answer is absolutely! It is delicious! 10/10

I love the pizza around the Bay Area (especially San Francisco), but let me say: this is the best single slice pizza in the valley.

Why can you not add Italian sausage to the calzone?

I'm not an employee and haven't worked for a pizza place for over 20 years.. I would say it's because sausage and ground beef go on the pizza (where I worked) in raw form. It would fully cook in the oven exposed to the direct heat. Being in a… Read more
