The pizzas are always good! The service is great, staff is super friendly, and ready time is usually on the dot. My personal take is it's a little too cheesy for me read more

Very busy in the restaurant tonight! Our pizzas were still received in a decent amount of time and so delicious! I will definitely bring my family back here! read more

While asking around for good pizza places in Manteca, Gold Dust Pizza, in Ripon kept coming up. It's a time warp just going into historic Ripon, so the stage is set upon entering Gold Dust. Then you're greeted by an old gold cash register on the counter and paintings above the inviting over sized booths. It's a cozy place with a buzz that comes from the patrons enjoying their food and the proud staff knowing and appreciating it. The pizza was incredible. Crust: 10/10 The bottom of the pizza was crispy without being burnt. The entire crust was airy chewy to crisp perfection. The Cheese 9/10 Cheese was thick and creamy, I had to use my fingers after most every bite to get the cheese detached from my mouth. Sauce 8/10 It was good, flavorful, complimentary. The toppings 11/10 The toppings were excellent but heaping. It should come with a warning. Keys to success:: Eat it there and ask for light toppings. Bottom Line: I was wowed. It was one of the best pizzas in recent memorey. read more

My husband and sons are pizza lovers, me - not so much. However, this pizza is absolutely delicious and I could have it all the time if it was closer to us! This establishment is always busy so I recommend calling in a take-out order. We usually stop by when visiting my sister and her family in Ripon. I love the ambiance of family and local sporting teams always being present. The staff is so friendly. I appreciate that this establishment has not turned into one of those places that charge you for condiments & ranch (and they give you an amount proportionate to your order). Make sure you leave the staff a good tip, they work hard and deserve it. read more

I loved this pizza! I was so happy with the crispy crust and cheese, toppings everything! We got 1/2 pepperoni and pineapple, 1/2 sausage and onion. We loved the flavor!! They were so busy, yet put out a fantastic pizza! read more

By far this is still the best pizza spot ever!! Their service is great as well and their pizza never disappoints.

The service was quick and the restaurant has a unique ambiance to it. There is a free parking lot behind the restaurant and there is a backdoor that you can use to enter from the parking lot. The set up is nice as it has big booths and some can accommodate up to 8 people. The pizza was memorable! Cheesy and cooked perfectly to have a bit of a crunch. You can make your own pizza or select from the menu. I also tried the wings and they were delicious. They offer a variety of self-serve fountain soda and also tap beer. read more

First timers. Someone mentioned this place in passing. Super tasty. We had wings, peperoni and the meat pizza. It was a crazy busy day. Took about an hour to get our food. Seems like people really love this place. The staff were nice and as helpful as they could be. But I would rate a 4.5 based on the lack of attentiveness. There were lots of staff could maybe look at the way the kitchen is organized. Even though we were told they were short staffed. Overall great spot and we will be back. Too hungry to take pictures lol. read more

Great tasting pizza in small town Ripon. Place was full when we went and took awhile to get our food. Service could have been better I noticed they are kinder and more attentive to some customers more than others. Would try again at there other locations in Oakdale and Sutter Creek. read more

I think this is definitely some of the best pizza in the 209. It can be super busy and crowded which I don't care for but the pizza is so good and worth the weight and it's close to this really great ice cream place. I definitely recommend recommended highly if you like pizza. read more

To me the one in riverbank is the best but this time around I tried the ripon location. Got rhe combination pizza and I gotta say the bread was super soft almost like focaccia and as usual it was fully loaded with toppings. If you know you know, classic thick style slices, something to get on occasion. Top tier read more

The last time I visited this place was many years ago. It was called Pizza Plus. Inside it looks the same but now it is part of the Gold Dust Pizza family. It stays really busy for sure. We ordered a "small salad" to share. In actuality the salad was packed there and it was a nice to be shared. We had the Walnut & Feta Salad. It was fresh with plenty of toppings. We ordered a small thick crust veggie pizza. It was really well made with plenty of toppings and the crust was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly also - a nice plus. read more

Mom and pop local pizza spot. This by far is the best pizza in the valley. This ain't no franchise pizza either with mountain of toppings and cheese that stretches larger then my appetite Plenty of seating for any type of party. They have booths and actual tables for bigger party. Drink stations that you can satisfy your thirst. They also have alcohol for those who prefer pizza with adult drinks. The crust is crunchy and buttery and it's a must to have there cheesy breadsticks. They have a full staff in hand to make sure you don't wait long for your pizza. There pizza sauce is just the right balance to compliment the crust and the toppings. Give me LIKE if you feel the same way about this place, I know you will. Foodie Approve!! read more

The management is rude, the staff doesn't seem to know what they're doing. Have ordered twice and they got both orders wrong. One of which they would not credit me for the difference in cost. They ARE NOT PRO CUSTOMER!! read more

Hands down, best pizza ever!!! Loaded with toppings like you wouldn't believe! Beautiful outdoor seating with cute views.

Been here several times with family and friends. Place is always packed and can be loud. Pizza is great, the crust is delicious! Toppings are seriously piled on. You order your food at the counter and find an empty table before someone else grabs it. There's only one Soda fountain which is usually a long line but goes pretty fast. Little arcade area that doesn't have any games working and gumball/toy machines were all empty. We ordered the Habanero chicken wings for first time and will be the last. Chicken was really dry and over cooked. The pizza was perfect though! read more

Wow. Do better Gold Dust! Sent the kids over to get pizza and they refused service because they are in high school. That's just dumb. They get out of school at noon on Wednesdays, they are 18 years old, they showed their student ID, their school is NOT in Ripon and they were still denied. Well Round Table didn't deny them. Guess that's where we will be going from now on. read more

I'm so glad we went here instead of the Cafe next to it or we would have missed out on one of the best pizzas we've had so far. Maybe even a little better than pizza from New York! LOL We ordered a small pizza and that was big enough for me and the hubby. The crust is perfect. The taste is perfect The staff is very friendly and that is always a plus. The restaurant is clean. We will definitely come back for more pizza! read more

We had a great combo pizza a the Gold Dust .. we have someone who always wants to celebrate their birthday there.

20 plus years of experience eating here you will find days that are off This early evening was horrible. Call in a pizza and ask how long. 20-25 minutes, 40 minutes later and still waiting. They decided if you call your pizza in you must stand in the order line to pick up your order. Staff commented "it's not fair that the people placing orders have to stand in line so all are standing". Next person to complain was told "short staff tonight so you will need to get in line and wait your turn". You call in and plan to pick up near when notified. Not stand in a line for another 25 minutes to pick up your order that is now cold. Dropped about $100 to be so disappointed that it will be a long time before they get another order from me. read more

Decent options with pizza. But with all the hype, maybe I set my bar high. The taste wasn't upto my expectations. The veggies on the pizza were too thick and hard. Maybe slicing them thinner or cooking then longer would help still this wasn't worth the effort traveling 15 miles read more

Ordered a pizza and wings it was so greasy the toppings literally fell off the pizza and my son cried. It was not visually appetizing seeing the box on the bottom. I'm not sure if it was a quality issue due to the high volume of orders, but I am very unhappy with this pizza. I will not be going back. read more

It was my first time eating here with my boyfriend. We ordered the motherlode meat pizza. I felt like I was in an old pizza place in an old Western movie. The ranch was so good and the pizza was amazing. Unfortunately, they do not give out cups for water. They only have water bottles and it was one dollar. I can't wait to order pizza from here again. I would recommend this restaurant to others. The employees were nice and helpful. It was loud in the restaurant. The pizza is expensive but it's worth it. read more

Wife, daughter and her husband went to the movies and decided on pizza before the show. We had been here a long time ago and I like the one in Oakdale so we gave it a shot. Order one of the specials that had the cheese bread and that was really good, the Parmesan flavor one was worth the trip. We ordered half pepperoni and combination and that was great. The crust is crispy and the marinara sauce is very good. Good service and only thing was the music, not sure if that is the theme for this place but it was not just 70's music, which I don't mind since I grew up in the 70s but this was really, really, really bad 70s music so that kind of killed the vibe but I guess your there for the pizza......still that music is pretty awful. Cheese bread was worth the torture of the music and we will definitely try this place again. read more

Gold Dust Pizza NEVER disappoints! It is the ultimate Go-To pizza place, no matter what city you live in. The place always seems to stay busy, which speaks for its value! We usually order the Miner's Special, which feeds a family of 6. The cheesy breadsticks are mouth watering, and we LOVE the White Chicken Delight, Miner Moe's BBQ Chicken, and The Yuppie toppings. In all honesty, you cannot go wrong with pizza from Gold Dust- no matter if you like pineapple on or off your pizza!! WE LOVE RIPON'S GOLD DUST PIZZA read more

It took 1 hour for one pizza and we were one of the only people there!!!!!! Like this is insane.

Amazing experience as always. And the manager was so nice that she even asked me how everything was, and if there was any feedback I wanted to share. That's called going above and beyond for your customers. Pizza was perfectly cooked and tasted great. Highly recommend this location of Gold Dust Pizza! read more

More HYPE than anything.!! The pizza was good, not great! From reading the reviews you'd think wow this place must be amazing!!!??? Right? Naa, it was good, the cheese is great but that was about it for us. We had a big party orderd 4 pizzas cheese bread and wings. Let's start with the good.. The cheese bread was good buttery n cheesy n greasy lol. The wings!?? Tasted good n crispy but the life was sucked out of them, they looked anemic . We had the mother load pizza, plain cheese, vegetarian, and pepperoni it was ok the crust was too much for me. It did have a lot of toppings that was nice for the price you pay. Peparoni was everyone's favorite . The bad?? I don't wana bash this place too hard. It's nice place great atmosphere but small cramped ther was a line for restroom the whole time we were there ,only 2 toilets and with kids that was not good. Tiny game area for the kids maybe 5 kids could fit at most. Pizza was ok. Not bad but definitely not great. We won't be going back anytime soon that's for sure . Service was average not great again but not horrible either. Average they kept messing up our order cause they took our number with the fist pizza they gave us. I don't blame the girl it was a simple mistake but she kept walking about looking for us to give us our other pizzas. We tried to explain to them but they didn't listen or understand and just kept walking away in a hurry. That was frustrating cause we were hungry. Definitely HYPE.!! read more
