Visited here Sept. 4th. A bit of a late review but Luigi's Pizza is always my go to. Their pizza is always delicious and fair market priced. Shop is in a cozy location and they always cook my pizzas to perfection. Service is top tier and always greeted with a smile. Must try if you're in Modesto. read more

I originally LOVED the pizza from this place, but something has changed over the past six months Maybe it's because I have opted for thin crust, but the last few times I've gotten a thin crust pepperoni pizza, the crust had been overcooked (burned) and it's a lot like eating cardboard. I'm surprised they would even put it in a box and serve it. I really love this family-owned business and am reluctant to give up on it. Hoping this review gets someone's attention and the quality improves! read more

The customer service was excellent! I did not want to cook on this hot day, and the gal at the counter instantly greeted me with a smile, asked how my day was going, and made sure I had everything I needed. Even though it was pretty hot inside, she was still so cheerful, friendly, and ready to help. Great customer service definitely makes a difference. read more

I love trying out different pizza places. I found out about this spot in a coupon book with a $29.99 deal for a large three topping, bread balls, and 2 liter soda. Even with not being the biggest fan of olives, the pizza was delicious. Do not get me started with the garlic cheesy stuffed bread balls, they are a must! Both of these items pair lovely with their marinara and/or ranch. You should definetely get this on your next pizza night! read more

Ordered a pickup at Luigi's for lunch to eat with a few coworkers. It took about 35 minutes to get our food so keep that in mind for the lunch rush. They're primarily a take-out shop as the name implies. Got a large combination pizza and 10 big wings for 3 people... it was too much food, but it was good! Pizza is has good quality toppings and a decent amount of them. Crust had some chew to it - always a little hard to judge with takeout, but it held up. I came here a second time the following week since people liked the food. I ordered Big Wings both times and the first time was kind of like an original and the second was a Buffalo. Need to remember to request a certain flavor next time. Wings are tender and meaty. Thumbs up from our crew. read more

Out of all the pizza spots in Modesto I have come to grow fond of such a hidden gem. To the crust and the sauce I can taste the quality ingredients and savory flavors of their pizza. Very good and even better warmed up in my toaster oven the next day. This will forever remain as one of my favorites. Thank you for the hard work and commitment you guys present to serve quality food. read more

Not consistent! Last year, one weekend we decided to try Luigi's from yelps good reviews, I first ordered their pepperoni pizza, and it was really good and also the cheesy garlic balls was off the hook! After a week, on a weekday after work, I ordered online via yelp/ DoorDash, when I got there, they said my order wasn't received so I need to wait and they contacted the owner I guess, they are like 2 young teenagers. So I waited and waited after 15 mins then they said they finally received the order, they made it and it was burnt cheesy garlic balls and burnt pizza. I was sooo disappointed cuz I told them that I like gooey cheese . After that I never went back. read more

I have been driving by Luigi's Pizza for several months now and finally decided to give it a try. I called in my order and that was a very pleasant experience. The woman who took my order was very friendly and patient with me as it was the first time I had ever ordered from them. The pizza was hot and ready when I arrived. I couldn't wait to get home to eat it, a slice or two might have been eaten on the way home. I was very impressed with the quality of my pizza. Everything was fresh, and extremely delicious. I will definitely be ordering again from Luigi's! read more

Pizza is usually good, staff needs to work on customer service, also why is cheese and pepper a dollar when I ordered two large pizzas ? It should come with the pizza. Makes me regret voting for them read more

Updating my review because it's been a minute and they deserve all the praise! My family has been coming to this 3 generation family-ran pizza spot pretty much since they've opened. I'm prompted to update my review to remind them that their brick oven pizza and fresh ingredients hits every time and never disappoints. Even when we have to wait, it's always worth it. Truly grateful that you've served our community for nearly 3 decades. The fact that you're still here and thriving speaks volumes! Thanks for being my family go to spot! read more

1st time here and I have to say - The service is amazing, the staff provide a nice comfortable atmosphere! The kind lady at the front went out of her way to make me a coffee! I then ordered a Smackin Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza which lives up to its name! I had to stop myself from eating it all so I could bring food home! I'm not one to leave interviews but this place and lady deserved it! read more

Horrible! Was quoted 30 mins for one pizza. 35 minutes later we are told it will be 15 more minutes. The 15 mins has passed and we have now been there for just about 50-55 minutes and are just seeing our pizza go inside the oven. About 10 minutes later we receive our order. Was never told any sort of apology or reasoning for being extremely late. By the time we are leaving the establishment it has been about 65-70 mins when original time quote was 30. After all of this the food didn't make up for anything. Crust is extremely dry and cardboard like, cheese tastes like nothing, and pepperoni tastes like straight chemicals. On top of that the price was absolutely ridiculous considering the quality, or lack there of. The man that took our order was nice and friendly but rest of staff was not. Do not waste your time and money here! Mind you, this was not during busy hours. Only three other orders were being handled the entire time we were there. Our friend ordered an appetizer that also took around an hour/similar time frame to come out. I myself work in a pizza restaurant and this kind of service would not be tolerated and allowed. Time estimates should be based off of what employees think they are able to meet, not what they are aiming to meet. I understand mistakes happen, but at the very least the customer deserves an apology for the inconvenience. Customers also should not receive attitude and nasty looks from employees when asking about the status of their order after the time estimate has been passed. read more

Pizza looked so good in the pictures taken, I had to find out for myself. Last month on the 11th I placed a timed order for the he Large three toppings pizza with garlic cheese stuffed bread balls and 2lt soda. I also ordered the 8pc garlic knots. The pizza arrived on time but I only received one side order, I couldn't tell if they were the knots or the cheese stuffed bread but they were decent. The pizza looked nothing like the photos, but it was decent. read more

Second time coming here. Food is great! And cheesy. Service is also good. It's a small place and it feels like a sauna in there. Downfall is I don't like how they don't use gloves. And one of the girls had her nails done and was touching dough and all the toppings. (Without gloves) And she scratched her head ( did not wash her hands) and began to touch the dough. Wearing AirPods. It's disgusting. You can clearly see it. She's the face right when you walk it. read more

The service here is amazing. The pizza is always cooked to perfection. I recommend it to everyone I talk to.

Stopped by after running errands, got the small pepperoni with a Soda. place may be to to-go only, and if there is a wait time it's worth it. Family owned, Old School vibe. Nice People. Welp..... the food was good last time i went, but i went this time and the service sucked, didn't like how they talked to me. Asked for my 1 topping on their lunch special, because it was linguica it was ganna be an extra 4 dollars. Each extra topping is 2 dollars, and linguica would be 4. But they wanted to charge me 4 for the topping i wanted. Maybe meet me in the middle. Place looks ugly. Employees are jerks. Won't be long till they close down. You won't see me in there ever again. read more

Waited over 40 minutes for this burnt little calzone. Not my first time being here . Use to go all the time . The owners before were way better than dough was fluffier and was never burnt. I ordered this over 15 times the new male and female that run this place is going to burn it to the ground. Very disappointed . Over the phone they were rude in person were rude. Had me way over 15 minutes inside the store without talking to me. Let alone my order was already ready, but decided to pack everyone else order at the same time and deliver one by one. I get wanting to be efficiency but take one order one by one and maybe your pizza won't get burnt and maybe you won't have people waiting hours. Never coming back again . Wouldn't feed to my dogs read more

This is our go-to pizza spot! The crust is perfect, the toppings are always fresh, and the service makes you feel right at home. You can tell this place is run with pride and heart. So thankful for small businesses like this! read more

The most rude people ever. If you can't handle the business then shut down. We went there in the past and they gave our order to someone else. So we had to wait. We decided to give them another chance. They did it again. No apologies then told us to leave. The worst customer service ever. We do not recommend this place. We will never ever go back. Do not go here. Also They also started yelling at us like it was our fault. This place is a joke. I rather go to chucky cheese for pizza. read more

Pizza had a good sauce flavor and the garlic cheese bread where fantastic.
