First off I want to say the service is awesome. From phone to in store they are very attentive, kind, and friendly. The food is good. We found them on yelp and decided to give them a try. Pizza is my favorite. The pizza ingredients were fresh. They were properly wrapped and introductions were even provided. The dough is tasty and fresh. The desserts and yummy. Brownie was good. The set up of the Ninja Turtles and the Masters of the Universe toys blew my mind! I grew up in the 80's-had most of those toys and wish that I still did! Holy cow! My husband picked this pizza up tonight and OMG it is the BEST pizza we have had in A long time. We got half pepperoni and half pepperoni and jalapeños. The big advantages of Donatello's: You can stick it in the fridge and have it ready when you want. No waiting on delivery and then reheating because it's cold. It will be hot out of the oven. You are supporting local people, not a big pizza chain. The crust is pretty good. Since you are talking to them you can get exactly the right amount of pineapple on your pie. The only other option is to make my own which is pretty good but just too much work. We really wanted pizza tonight and so we tried the ol' Yelp to see if anything new had opened up. We saw the high ratings and even though take out pizza is not something we like, we had to try it. Well, we don't have to go all the way to Oakdale anymore and this does not taste like any of the other take and bake places, this pizza was actually good. Very thin crust which we love, sauce was nice, and ingredients where fresh. This would be a four star normally but I gave it a full other star because of the service. The family that owns the place is absolutely adorable and am rooting they they do well. Good to see small family ran business; the teen age daughter which the place is named for was folding boxes, Dad made the pizza and mom took the order. My family really enjoys take and bake. When I saw Donatello's sign, I knew we had to try it. So I called and placed my order. We had a group of kids coming over for games, so who better to taste test the new place in town!!! I called and was created by an extremely friendly young lady. She was very thankful we were trying them out. The pizza special was buy a 16" get a 8" personal free. So we were able to try 6 different pizzas! We ordered the Islander, Madd Meat, Popeye in 16" and got the 8" Shredder, Cordon Blue, and Pesto Chicken free! When you buy for kids free is always good!!! We loved them all. The thin crust was so good. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. The kids favorite was the Islander it was all gone really fast. I really enjoyed everything. The Cordon Blue is really good the creamy white sauce is great. The Madd Meat has some really great sausage. We will be back. Thank you for a great experience and pizza.
