We walked in specifically to order a pizza with beef pepperoni having seen that listed in another review. While we were disappointed to learn that is a special order that needs advance notice, we were totally taken in by the sheer exuberance of the host and his enthusiastic description of their offerings. After sitting for a short while waiting for our meal to cook, piping hot pizza was delivered directly to the table. We tried both tandoori chicken and tikka chicken and both really delivered with our table evenly split on which was better. The crust is crisp and barely sags as you pick up a slice, the toppings are plentiful without excess, the sauce ties everything together perfectly. I honestly never would have tried this place based on the "Indian Fusion Pizza" concept, but my whole family is thrilled to have found a new regular spot. read more

We went to the lunch buffet. It's a good deal. It's $10.99 without a drink and $11.99 with a drink. Buffet comes with a salad bar and Pizza bar. The day we arrived there were two small (10 inch pizzas out). One was pepperoni. This was disappointing since we went here to try tandoori pizza. We know what pepperoni pizza taste like. The salad bar was limited and the carrots were not fresh. You could tell that they were old because they were not orange. They were mostly white. You know, what they look like when you've had them in the refrigerator too long. The lady that helped us put in an order for an additional Pizza. It took about 20 minutes for that to be cooked and put into the pizza bar. Again, the reason you eat at a buffet is for convenience and speed (get in and out). One of the people in our party does not eat pizza. That person ordered two orders of chicken wings. They ate the first ones and they were tasty. When the person bite into the second order of wings, they were cold. They were cooked, but they were cold. Cold like in just out of the refrigerator cold. Very unappealing. 6 wings cost $11.95. We went and told the lady that the wings were cold. She asked what other flavor we would like and we gave her flavor. We waited about 15 to 20 minutes and she came out with one wing. They come in an order of six..we returned six. I'm not quite sure what she wanted us to do. Anyway, we ended up asking for our money back for the six wings because we were given one wing but turned back six cold wings. We not offered the other five. It was odd. So, with the lack of Pizza choices, the white carrots, and the cold wings we will not be back. There were some good moments. The lady working was very pleasant. She seemed to be doing it all because after we ordered, she disappeared into the kitchen. The restaurant was very clean. Even the windowsills were clean. They had several TVs with different things on (TV cartoons, below deck, and a car race). You paid an extra dollar for soda and it was unlimited soda. The tandoori pizza was delicious. This spot is pretty cool with a nice large seating area and plenty of booths and tables. There were a couple others when we came in on a Thursday evening, but plenty of people came and went for carry out. We got the desi cheese sticks, which is a small pizza cut into sticks instead of slices, a half and half butter chicken and tandoori chicken pizza, and mango lassis. The presentation was awesome with pizzas served on a board and mango lassis made in house and bottled. Everything tasted good, though this doesn't quite compete with my favorite Indian pizza spot, it's much closer and we will definitely be returning here. read more

Ordered a bbq tandoori pizza after a softball game at Stanislaus State. Pizza was ready ahh em they said it would be ready and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking as it sits in a strip mall area. Inside and bathrooms were clean. Pizza was good, I like the crust and the flavor of the chicken. Definitely something different to try than the usual pepperoni pizza. Have wanted to try this place for quite some time because of their huge Yelp ratings. Today my son and I went in for their lunch buffet special. This building brought back a lot of childhood memories (back when it was a Straw Hat Pizza). First impression, it was very clean and modern looking. No more huge projector screen TV or video games like the early 80s . Today's dining room offers a few flat screen TVs playing Indian-themed music videos. We looked over at the buffet heat lamp table and it was empty. Sadly, I thought maybe we struck out, but the hostess (who was super nice and helpful) said we could order any pizzas and bread sticks from the menu we wanted and those would be brought to the buffet station. (I think this was maybe because we were the first ones to arrive for the buffet?) Anyway, we ordered Tandoori Chicken and Curry Chicken pizzas and Garlic bread sticks. They brought our "order" in a timely manner and we indulged. While we were eating, more patrons came ordering the buffet, so more pizzas and bread sticks (different varieties than we chose) were constantly being added to the station. If you don't like onions, make sure to request a non-onion topped pizza, because they put quite a few onions on the varieties being offered in the buffet. The high ratings for this place are well deserved! VERY fresh ingredients are used and the taste is phenomenal. The "Indian" flavored pizza twist is very unique and recommended, but they also have "standard" pizza toppings for those not so adventurous. I noticed they sold wine, but I didn't see any beer offered, but I may have just missed it. They have a self-service soda fountain available (Coke products). I highly recommend trying this place. The price of the buffet is very cheap for the quality of food being offered. As stated above, the workers were very nice and made our visit that much more enjoyable. read more

When we went to pick it up we were met with a really nice man behind the counter who let us know they're open for the holidays. He gave us ranch, parm, plates, and napkins without us asking. I ordered through the Yelp app. When I ordered at 10:40 the estimated pickup was 11:30-1150. I arrived at 11:10 thinking there is no way it talked 50 minutes to make a pizza and "bread sticks". As you can see from the photos the building was empty. I said I had an order and was wondering if it was almost done. This could be a cultural thing but the look she gave was utter shock and she said they hadn't started on the order. The tone was not that of customer service. The order was still ready right at 1130. Which is also a little strange if you're not busy and you can crank out a delicious pizza in 20 min why not try to do that every time? The pizza and the curry sauce is spectacular. We loved the tandoori sticks as well. All is great with and without ranch. The curry has a little heat on it so you're warned. If you want the similar Indian flavor without the burn you may want the Butter Chicken Pizza. I'm nostalgic for the building. It was an old Pizza Hut that is still serving pizza. The inside is way more inviting and well lit. If you like sports there are plenty of TVs that are playing the various sports. UFC, baseball, basketball, football and even a White House press conference with Karine Jean-Pierre ( she was muted as to not ruin the ambiance or spoil your appetite.) The fusion pizzas are packed with flavor and never disappoint. They are however, a bit on the pricier side. But all pizza establishments seem to have gone up in price so what can you do. Insane... perfection... amazing... OK apparently yelp wants me to use more words than three above, so I'll digress into a story. There's a lot of restaurants I used to eat at, that I would look forward to. I thought some of these places had amazing food. After some years, I realized that food wasn't actually that good. After coming in to tandoori pizza, it was a flashback to the most amazing pizza I remember eating. The crust is perfect, the cheese was perfect, the sauce and spice was perfect. It was my first time here, but when I read the other reviews I knew I had to try it. The worker was polite, and recommend the chicken tikka which was perfection. They stop allowing you to eat there an hour before close or something like that, which is a bit annoying... The dining area was clean, but a bit dark (possibly since it was "closed".
