Tried two of their slices - perfect flavor profiles. Had the PRH and Ghost. Crispy thin crust and gooey cheese. Quick service. Will definitely try again.

The other day I went here and there was nothing inside until I came back and there was pizza signs saying pizza this way and it guided me to the spot where sacred slice pizza truck is it's like 45 minutes for the wait and I was annoyed getting bit by mosquitoes, but it was all worth it since the pizza was amazing and was practically New York style next time I'll order ahead can't wait to come back.

I love the fact the they sell slices!!! Definitely as close to a NY Slice as you're gonna get in Cali. Have tried multiple different slices and haven't been let down yet!!

I stopped by during my lunch to grab a couple of slices, and I loved every bite of the PRH slice. The hot honey and ricotta were an amazing combo, and the fresh Parmesan gave it the perfect finishing touch. The Dude slice was also really good. The next day I went back and picked up a whole pepperoni pie. When I got home and opened the box, my kid's reaction to the size of the pizza was priceless, and they absolutely crushed it. The pie was classic, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The customer service was great too. Friendly, quick, and welcoming. Worth every penny and I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know. Pizza is goals for life. Weight loss will come eventually... probably

    Already took a bite haha

Best pizza in the 209! So crispy and delicious. Got myself 2 Pepperoni NY Style slices (one normal/one hot honey). Great value for the size of one slice. Definitely recommend coming here! Definitely gonna be coming back here again!

They just gained a forever customer. Friendly people, pizza cooked so well. I love that awesome thin slice with the perfect crunch. Will be coming back VERY frequently.

I came back today with my cousin, my brother and my nephew. We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened. I got the PRH slice and got to try the Detroit for the first time. We tried, PRH, Vodka Roni and the Sacred slice. There was nothing left. This pizza is the kind that even when you are full you just want more. The crust on both pizzas is crunchy and there is no flop on the New York slice. I feel if Dave Portnoy came to try this Pizza it would be in the 7.8 range. This is based off of a 7.8 I tried in Phoenix. It is up there. Once again I would say this is the best pizza in not only Modesto but even the county. Thank you again for the epic Pizza!

This is some of the best pizza you can get in Modesto. Their crust, whether you're getting a slice of New York style, or Detroit Pizza, is incomparable to anything else in town. The ingredients are fresh, and the pizza is hot and delicious. This is a mom and pop run business, so it doesn't act like a chain. There is limited space and limited manpower. But I promise you with a little patience, this could be one of the best pizza experiences you have in Modesto.

First off I want to say, pizza is worth the price! Worth the hype! Came here a little skeptical since it is a truck, sometimes pizza trucks rush the order and you dont feel or taste the love. However, in this 4 wheel pizza shop, we definitely felt the love. We had almost the whole menu and shared it between my uncle and aunt, my wife, and myself. Place was quiet and relaxing. Awesome things if you want to enjoy your food. They shared the lot with a few other trucks as well. My favorite is pepperoni and thats how I judge a pizza spot. But for me, hands down, they were all a solid 8-9/10. Pepperoni and Ghost for me was forsure the best. With the jalapeno pepperoni a second. My wife's and uncle's favorite was margherita My aunt loved the Ghost Price - 8.5/10 (is a little pricy but worth it) Taste - 9.5/10 Service - 9/10 Portions (to price ratio)- 9/10 (each slice was huge) Customer friendly- 8/10 44/50 That is excellent. Overall a 8.8/10 How could it improve? Do .50-$1 cheaper per slice Whole pizza around 2-3$ cheaper would be nice Portions, if they made the slice bigger would be crazy, but itd be awesome to see. Not a biggy Taste was nearly perfect but we didnt get the slices fresh. Could easily be a 10/10 if I taste fresh. Customer friendly- maybe not charge for the ranch or charge $2per container instead of $3? Also the hours are a little crazy and days they sell. I know their ranch is home made and truthfully one of the best flavor ranch out there. If you keep price of pizza the same and not charge for ranch? Catch 22. For Modesto and all of pizza ive had around the world.. this spot is a gem for me. Glad I found it and was able to try it.

Ok...it was not aware this was a food truck so I was caught off guard and I had to dodge a few of the downtown local Modesto tweakers but...hands down some of best pizza we have found! I will be coming back! As an east coast transplant (moved here in 2013) this is damn close to east coast pizza! It also pasted the next morning cold pizza test! Also, the girl taking my order was super friendly, thanks for everything

The pictures don't do this pizza enough justice. Delicious food and quick service. I'd highly recommend anyone come to try out a slice of pizza and support this business. Pizza was crispy, nice fold, delicious sauce, and super tasty! Will be coming back!

But if you're like me, and just hella sensitive to spicy foods, you gotta exercise caution with this one. My partner and I got food to go, two loaded burritos (one pakora fish, the other chicken masala), a Naan Chalupa with paneer masala, and a chai horchata! It did take about 30 minutes for it all to come together; but I urge you to remember that 'food truck' means 'mobile' and not 'fast food.' Good things come to those who wait! The Chai Horchata is SO GOOD! Like drinking a gingerbread cookie made especially for you by your grandma. I would go back for that alone. In fact, I regret not getting two because I'd definitely have delighted in not having to share. Swing by for that alone. Now the food? My partner ordered everything mild; which has got to be a relative thing because both burritos and the chalupa had such heat that I couldn't take more than a few bites of any of them before my mouth felt like it was on fire! I wish that I had any sort of tolerance because everything was so flavorful; incredibly flavorful! Just too dang hot for my wimpy tastebuds! The loaded chicken burrito was the messier of the two--downright greasy so be prepared! Ask for extra napkins or have some on standby if you take it to go. I'm coming back for you, Sizlin' Masala! Maybe not right away, but I'm coming back! Your food is so good! I just have to build up my spicy-heat-tolerance first!

The husband and I ordered the Grilled Cheese Nashville Hot and Chicken Tenders. The Grilled Cheese was tasty with a nice balance of heat and tanginess from their slaw. The Chicken Tenders were appetizing, but it wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped for. It does come with sauce on the side, which helped. It is located off a newly renovated street where new high rise development were put in to increase dwelling density and foot traffic. It is not quite there yet, but I can see where this is going. It is held in this square near a business park so there is plenty of parking. There is a grassy square where families like to lounge with picnic blankets and lawn chairs. There's usually a dj dishing out tunes, a beer and wine tent, and about 8-10 food trucks lined up in an organized fashion. It goes every Friday in the warm months so from May to October. If a holiday pops up on a Friday like 4th of July they will skip it. Starts at 5pm and goes to about 9pm. Bulk of the crowd goes from 6:30 - 8. I go to about 2-4 per year since 2017, with the exception of 2020 cuz y'all know why. You can see the food truck line up each week on their website or socials. So I like to scan that and if it looks promising then I'll text some friends/family if anyone wants to meet up after work on Friday. If the weather is nice, it is just a just a festive and social way to start a summer's weekend. Now even tho I like these events I don't always like food truck food. Sure it is trendy and you do get to sample and /or get stuff brought to you in one area. But I often just find many of the food to be just average at best at prices that rival sit down dining. So to me I like scoping these out occasionally but I don't think they are worth going to on a frequent basis. I also feel that there aren't enough places to sit and eat once you get your food from a truck. There is a small area where they put out portable picnic benches, but those fill up with just 20 people or so. Otherwise you have to sit on the lawn and come prepared with blanket or lawn chair, or find a concrete planter box to sit on, or go back to your car to eat. Another reason why food trucks events often leave me hanging. But bring a warm typical Bay Area summer's evening where it doesn't get dark til almost 9pm and you want to be amongst your community and commerce, this event will do you more than fine.

There were about 8 food trucks to choose from, along with a few random vendor/service tents (like Bass Pro Shops). Decided on sliders and garlic fries from the Curveball food truck. The food was okay, good enough to satisfy my hunger (see my separate review on that). I snagged one of the few spots in the grass with shade on this hot evening, though they also have tables and seating here, partially shaded too. An actual restroom (not porta potties) on site, in the Fremont downtown event center building. Also, plenty of space available in the parking lot. I ordered four different tacos, and overall, they were pretty good. They weren't bad by any means, but they also didn't quite blow me away. The meat was cooked well, the tortillas were fresh, and the tacos had good flavor. The salsa was decent too, although I personally prefer something with a little more kick. Everyone has different tastes, so this is just my opinion. One thing I really appreciated was how clean and organized the restaurant was. I've eaten at a lot of taco places throughout the Bay Area, so I naturally compare every new place to some of my favorites. While El Halal Mexican Restaurant didn't make the top of my list, I still had a good experience and I'm glad I finally gave it a shot. Not every restaurant has to be your favorite to be worth visiting. I also like supporting family-owned businesses because I know how much hard work goes into running a local restaurant. They deserve credit for creating a clean, welcoming place and serving quality food. Will I come back? Maybe. If I do, I'd probably try something different on the menu instead of the tacos. Sometimes a restaurant's best dish isn't the first thing you order, and I'd be interested in seeing what else they have to offer. Overall, I'd give El Halal Mexican Restaurant a solid 4 out of 5 stars. It was a good experience, I'm happy I finally got to try it, and if you're in the Willow Glen area, it's worth stopping by and deciding for yourself.

We were in the neighborhood, hungry, and knew the area lacked abundant food offerings. We had seen…read morethe cute little Dojo Dog food truck (well, food trailer) before -- and this time gave it a try. Glad we did! Rebecca was running the truck with her husband, and they were warm, friendly, and hard-working. That same care reflected in the food. Comforting flavors, big portions, and just what we needed. ---- Food ---- The hot dogs here are big, delicious, and fantastic value for the price. Wushu Dog: Loved this one. Inventive and delicious. Great texture, topped with pork sung and crispy cabbage, plus katsu sauce and Japanese mayo. Savory, crunchy, and satisfying. Sumo Dog: Japanese curry beef chili with cheese and fresh scallions. Hearty, comforting, and perfect for that chilly evening. Fried Foods: We didn't try, any but they serve fries and potstickers too. The fries seemed to be a crowd favorite at Great Notion Brewery next door (which is partnered with Dojo Dog). Definitely getting them next time. Rebecca told me she enjoys experimenting with new dishes, and the creativity shows. Looking forward to trying more! ---- Drinks ---- We didn't but drinks as we were enjoying beer at Great Notion, but Dojo Dog also offer drinks like milk tea. ---- Bonus ---- As I mentioned, they partner with Great Notion, one of our FAVORITE bars in the Bay with the best smoothie beers and stouts. You can bring your Dojo Dog inside and pair it with their awesome beers. Inventive hot dogs + beer = awesome evening ---- Vibe ---- Cute little food truck, family-run charm, friendly service, and an endearing hole-in-the-wall feel. The whole setup feels local and community-driven. In fact, it was originally created by Berkeley students. Very cool. ---- Overall ---- Amazing hot dogs, great beer next door, friendly owners, inventive sides, and a fun, low-key vibe. It will hit the spot every time. Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu!

SPARK Social SF is one of those places we end up at again and again, usually without overplanning…read moreit. It just works. Open air, a mix of food trucks, people hanging out, dogs everywhere, and that easy San Francisco energy where you can show up however you are and it fits. It never feels like a production, just a good place to land. We have eaten our way through a decent chunk of the trucks at this point, and that is half the fun. One day it is something messy and indulgent, the next it is lighter, but it always hits. Grabbing a drink, finding a spot at the picnic tables, and slowly settling in as the place fills up is kind of the rhythm. It is social without being overwhelming, lively without being chaotic. What keeps us coming back is how consistent it feels in the best way. It is easy, flexible, and always a good time whether you stay for an hour or lose an entire afternoon there. It is the kind of spot that turns into a routine before you even realize it, and honestly, we are not mad about it.

Spark Social is a great place to host an event. Big ones (company-sponsored), small ones (a group…read moreof friends huddling at a table), really any of them, because they have a couple different set ups that are open for reservations, but they can also accommodate walk-ins with the abundance of seating. Beyond that, the food and drinks are all food truck based. They are all quite good, and there's a wide variety of items. This also means a good variety for folks with different dietary needs, because they are mostly picking their own food. I have always enjoyed my time here, whether it's on company dime or if I'm just hanging out with friends. I do wish that there are more heaters around for the colder days but that's just life in the bay! It can be kind of cold and foggy all seasons here, so if you have a solid group of folks I'd recommend reserving a spot with a fire pit. One more note: parking can be tough. You either have to circle around for street parking, or rideshare here.
