To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. Last Saturday night my wife and I went to dinner because she's been craving pizza. We live in Riverbank and always want to support small businesses. On this visit, it was very loud and somewhat busy with the annex room full with a birthday party and then an additional party in the main room. All that was fine except for the volume. It was incredibly loud. But what I noticed most was that this place was very dirty. Tables hadn't been attended to of people that had already eaten and left. The salad bar had food thrown all over. But still, we decided to stay and eat. We ordered food and drinks. I ordered a calzone and my wife ordered a small pizza. I had to wipe down my table and clean it because it was dirty and not attended to. When we went up to get drinks. They were all out of ice. So we let them know in about 10 minutes later a young man put ice in the top. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food and still not getting it. I went up to the counter and asked if our food was getting close. Meanwhile, the place was still dirty tables unattended to and the salad bar looked exactly the same. All this why I saw two workers sitting at the bar, maybe on a break? But the timing of this seemed off to be honest the young man said that our food had just came out and they were cutting it up. About five minutes later, our food was delivered to the table. However, my wife's pizza was wrong. We checked the ticket and the ticket didn't match what she ordered. She told the guy to not remake it that she was hungry cause we've been sitting there for so long, so she just ate what was presented to us. It was at that time that I Voice, my displeasure for seeing workers sitting at a bar and the place in shambles and then our food comes and it's wrong. He just listened to my complaint and had nothing to say. He then asked for my wife's name and said that the next time we came back, she would get a free pizza. And I thought to myself, next time? Why not go ahead and take the pizza that you got wrong off of the bill? Next time, doesn't mean lost profits. If we don't return, then there's nothing lost. At this point we just really wanted out of here. I don't trust the fact that her name is on some sort of a list that's ongoing for screwed up orders. When you look at the reviews online about this business, really focus on the last 12 months. So many reviews are about customer service, rudeness, and overall performance. I've been coming here for 10+ years, and it has always been a favorite! Everything is fantastic, but my personal go-to is pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple.. SO good. The ranch? Absolute perfection. I visit this place a few times a year. They have some pretty interesting pizza and wings flavor. My favorite wings are the fire flavor. The salad bar is usually fully stocked and the drink area is also very neat. I've never been charged extra for requesting additional dips or sauces. This place is a local favorite on the Riverbank area offering a large space for parties and private events. I like the pizza but I wish that the prices were less. read more

I have to say that the cheese pull on this pizza is amazing. Fresh ingredients baked to perfection. I ordered the personal pizza with ham, black olives and pineapple. The best part next to thebcheese pull is the ham..they shred it into things little slices that cook evenly and are easy to eat. The service is good but expect to wait as this place is always packed. Unfortunately, the hospitality no longer matches the kitchen. On our latest visit, a pitcher of beer and two pizzas took roughly 90 minutes to arrive, which is a tough wait even on a busy night. The salad bar was unkept, more "picked over" than refreshed. Interactions with the staff were also disappointing: questions went unanswered and the demeanor read as dismissive--eye rolls included. It's a shame, because the food deserves better support. With tighter pacing, a tidier salad station, and more attentive service, this place could return to the neighborhood favorite we've long recommended. I usually do not have a problem with this place but there are a few things that need to be considered. 1. is that when you just have a bunch of high schoolers working in the back making pizzas you are going to have a lot more mistakes. 2. in this case, a mistake was made that bothered me a lot. I do not understand why there are jalapeños on a chicken barbecue pizza. That there was not requested for.
