The food has always been well crafted, the people behind the counter friendly and engaging and they have ALWAYS had everything I asked for. For a sandwich shop, the ambiance is enjoyable, with seating outside and in, and a mood that makes us want to return. To Jersey Mike's Subs in Modesto,Ca. What a hassle trying to get a coupon for a free sub after your…read moreemployee screwed up my order! We placed a takeout order for 2 sub sandwiches and picked them up approximately 10 minutes later. After getting home and unwrapping the sandwiches I noticed that my sandwich had not been made correctly. I had ordered a Club Sub which is supposed to have bacon and mayo on it and it had neither. I was not happy so, I called Jersey Mike's and complained to the assistant manager who stated I only had to get on their website and fill out their form and I would get a coupon emailed to me for a remake probably within 24 hours. The Jersey Mike's corporate office in New Jersey emailed me 2 days later making a point to say each Jersey Mike's is individually owned so, they really can't do anything other than send the info to the owner. Corporate asked me for the ticket # which of course I no longer had because the assistant manager did not tell me it was needed which I explained when I responded. I then received another email asking for the date of the order, method of purchase, last 4 digits of my credit card and the total amount of the purchase which I then gave them. Today I received another email thanking me for the info and they would forward it to the owner. Geez, Jersey Mikes......is this how it goes for your customers when your employee screws up an order? As well as being given misinformation from the assistant manager on the remake coupon process? A total of 5 emails and still no coupon and it's now a week later. I think we will order from Togos from now on to avoid the hassle. Their sandwiches are better anyway.

We ordered three of their Blue Collar burgers (no complaints, juicy and all things a burger should be. My son and I split the order of sliders which also were substantial for sliders and delicious. We ordered sides if fries which came out hot and crispy and fresh out the fryer. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries that came with a side of marshmallow fluff. Lastly, we ordered a side of zuchinni fries which were garnished with garlic and shredded parmesan cheese. Bathrooms were clean. There is a bar and plenty of TV's to choose from if you want to enjoy a game while you eat. Prices were decent. Can't even complain that they didn't have meal deals because although we ordered burgers and the french fries and drinks on the side I believe we paid what we would have had we gone to McDonald's or even In N Out.
