We order pizza about once a week from mountain mikes Pelandale. Tonight's pizza was the best. We always order a large half pepperoni half cheese thin crust. It was Cooked perfectly with crispy thin crust and crunchy pepperoni. And it was only a few minutes from ordering to delivery. The delivery driver has been here many times and seems to care that we get what we ordered. You guys knocked it out of the park tonight! read more

If I could leave 0 starts I would . My mom always orders from Mountain Mike's at this location. They must've gotten new owners because they're very rude. The girl over the phone couldn't even hear her correctly. I'm assuming she doesn't speak English.. and then when they brought the pizza, she asked for a large mountain Mike's large and they gave her a regular large pizza didn't give her plates or anything when she called to complain and talk to the manager he said rudely that she needs to ask if they need it so everyone do not order from here anymore they have new owners and obviously they are rude and not professional horrible customer service zero stars!!!! Thanks Brittney but whom ever is running the business inside currently made you loose a long time customer who purchased frequently due bad customer service and that rude man over the phone who spoke to my mother disrespectfully. And if he had done that in front of me I'd be at that store telling him to not disrespect my mom who is retired and treated badly . So no thanks we will find new pizza place for her . So you can thank that man who runs the store for this . And shared with my family members I n the area as well! read more

I ordered pizza for dinner and wings , this location on Pelendale is usually my favorite location. Not no more!!! So I had to go to Costco so I ordered here . I ordered a large pepperoni stuffed crust with garlic and cheese. And 12 buffalo wings. I had to wait a little bit for pizza which was fine because I called ahead and showed up early. When I paid I was arguing with the guy for ranch he said I get none that they are 50 cents each. But you are supposed to get some with your wings!! When I grabbed pizza from I guessing the owner he said the guy that rang me up was new and didn't know and he gave me 1 ranch for my 12 wings!!!! You are supposed to get 1 ranch per 6 wings! When I got home and opened the box I was shocked!!!!! Pizza was so small! And the crust looked deflated. Like there was no crust. I had break open to make sure it was stuffed. I'm telling you I think little ceasers is bigger definitely! When I gave to kids immediately after I got home. They were very disappointed with the size. And they all had to warm their pizza up in the microwave because even though the guy just gave it to me, it was cold. The wings were a joke. There was one decent sized wing, and all the rest were super tiny. Pizza did not have the normal Mountain Mike's taste. You know Mountain Mike's is more pricey but it's usually worth it. Pepperoni is epic. You can never go wrong with mountain Mike's pepperoni. It's like they're staple that they're known for . Until now .When I tried to buy the pizza, it tasted horrible.. I've definitely had better pizza at Little Caesars.. I will never return to this location again. I have went to this location for years and never had this problem.. I believe that they have changed owners because I've never seen the people there that I've seen before. I will continue going to the McHenry or the Standiford location.. they stay consistent. It's always good. Pizza is the right size and they don't have a problem giving me ranch.. read more

Came in to kill some time while waiting for my haircut with my 5 year old boy. The pac man machine STOLE $2.50 told the employee he said idk that's not us. Pointed at a sign posted 8ft high stating play at your own risk. I will never support mountain mikes again because of this. read more

Today we ordered a large pepperoni and a large veggie. Both pizzas were very, very delicious, but especially our veggie. It was loaded with veggies, and that's how my hubby and I like it. I called Mountain Mike's on Palendale to ask who made our pizza because I want to make sure that the next time we order, Destiny makes our pizzas. They were 10 out of 10 delicious. I have Destiny's schedule, so we will be coming back and ordering when Destiny is there, so she can make sure our pizzas are made 10 out of 10. read more

Employees extremely nice! There were some people here, but not extremely busy. We came for lunch buffet on a Friday at 12:15pm and I asked if there was any of the Himalayan pizza and they said they can make it. As the pizza refills came out, I asked what pizzas there were, and one of the employees said they take requests too! We had salad, pizzas, and desserts all for $26 + tip! What a great deal instead of ordering an xl pizza for delivery. read more

The staff were nice ! Very clean and organized the restaurant. pizza was done fast too

Used to good to go. 7 bucks and dude grabs 3 dry pieces of pizza from the buffet and hands it to me. Over 2 dollars a slice for old pizza. Not only that it had 2 pepperonis on each. Like man least you could do is put a loaded slice if you didn't want to give anything away. Also daily specials were removed from here and the inside seemed more dead and sad. Really disappointing that mountain mikes is like this now. Can't say I'll be back. read more

Came for lunch Buffet. Only one half pepperoni came out. Asked is there was gonna be more coming employee said no they only make one not worth the money at all save you time and money never coming back read more

We had 5 people in our group and we decided to go to this place for buffet . What buffet ? there was only half medium pizza seating on the counter for a good 30 minutes or so and no employee tried to make another pizza. they need to know that it is not a buffet. I guess there is a reason that no one was there except our group. NOT GOING BACK read more

I work for Uber Eats and on Labor Day yesterday I had an order to pick up from here. I got there roughly about 9:50 and I'm not sure how long ago the pizza was ordered on the customers end because I don't have access to that information. However when I arrived they were closed so I assumed the pizza was probably ready and I just need to pick it up. However there was a guy in there looked really frustrated and irritated as I banged on the window multiple times I noticed him kind of looking up at the corner of his eyes as he was counting the money in the till. Also tried calling on the phone and he felt it was too beneath him to answer it. Very dismissive rude and unprofessional. He could have at least had a decency to told me the status as if they were closed and wasn't able to make the order then no big deal I just canceled it and put restaurant is closed. That was not a good way to sweep the situation under the rug and also being a customer there for many years this was very disappointing. read more

Terrible service. Cash register guy said he would be making pepperoni for the buffet before I paid. To only make half of a pepperoni & then say that was all he was going to make and not make any more do not come here you will get your money scammed . read more

Really good service! The pizza was good and served quickly. The restaurant was clean and nice.

went in and ordered their buffet, this was around 12:30p.m. lunch hour on a Thursday. when I went to the salad bar they were out of lattice the guy working the counter said he'd get some, 10 min. later still no lattice, on the pizza bar they were putting out small pizza they must have been sliced into twelve slices they were so small and they put out only two small pizza at a time and sometimes for several minutes there would be no pizza on the bar at all there were several adults having the buffet so as soon as they put the pizza out it would be gone. It was crazy, I paid over $15.00 for that crappy Buffett, it's called being punchy after your customer and paid good money never again........ read more

TERRIBLE location!! If you have your hours listed as open til 10pm, that means you stay open til 10pm! What a joke of a business. We placed an online order for the MOUNTAIN pizza and a Large pizza for a big group. The order was processed and confirmed (via email) at 9:16pm. Estimated time for pick up was 9:36pm but when we got there at 9:35pm it was pitch black, closed, no one there, no one answered phone call. If you're closed at 9pm or 9:30pm please update your time or maybe don't allow for people to place orders for pick up til 10pm. Wasted our time driving there, will be disputing my bank for the money back since you guys don't want to pick up your phones to discuss this properly for a simple refund. read more

One person working at 5 pm on a Tuesday night making pizzas and taking orders and one person doing deliveries. How do you run a pizza place like this? Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and waited for an hour for one simple pepperoni pizza. also the people that ordered after us in line got 2 pizzas before we did. I get it might not be busy weekdays but one person at a corporate business is crazy to me. Will not come to this location again. Ever! I wish I could do no stars read more

Ever since new owners took over this place is going down hill. I will not be back. The lady that used to run the front is gone and it shows.

The young man managed the store all by himself. The pizza was great! The service was great! The young man handling the front, the back, and everything in between was impressive. Great experience. read more

Chemical smell inside, Service was not great, Pizza wait time was double what was told, Food seemed about an 8 out of 10, Overall (Long wait time, Service was bad, Had to warm up our food at home, Charged for a 2 liter Pepsi that was not available, ended up with a different soda, food was sitting while I was waiting for it to be done) *Won't be coming back* read more

Go here about twice a month and have never had a bad pizza. Service is always fast and friendly. Usually go in the early afternoon so there's not really much of a crowd, but they do get busy at times. Plenty of tvs on the walls so there's really not a bad place to sit. Only wish they would have green olives on the pizza, but I haven't found any places in California that do. read more

First off, this was our 6th or 7th time eating here in the past month or so which should speak for itself. Every time we come in the owner/co owner Sandeep is always friendly and smiling! As you know, smiles are contagious so it's always a good thing to spread happiness! The atmosphere is calm, inviting and well decorated with a modern rustic feel. That's just the ambiance, now on to the service. I've never been treated so well at a pizza parlor than I have here at this location. I mean first class service all the way! You can request what pizza you'd like when ordering the lunch buffet, eat from a well stocked and well kept salad bar, and have plenty of choices as to what pizza you'd want to try as they make 4 plus pizzas at a time with breadsticks! That's not including our requested Memphis. When the Memphis came out, the manager Denika went as far as tossing it and remaking a fresh one because the cabbage was looking too old! I mean she was ready to go buy more cabbage at the store if we wanted! Of course we weren't going to make her do that but man, that's superb customer service and dedication if you ask me. Now on to the quality. The soda is properly mixed and not watered down and the pizzas are always fresh and made how they oughta be! No skimping on ingredients and cooked to perfection! If you ask me, Denika and Sandeep make a powerhouse business partnership providing top notch customer service which leads to customer satisfaction! If I had stock in this particular location I'd double down as they definitely know how to run and manage a business. So if you own a business and would like some insight on how to attract and keep repeat customers, or if you just want a good pizza and would like to enjoy your experience, I highly highly recommend this location! read more

We came here for the Modesto Mavericks meet and greet. I'm sure this is the most busy they've been on a Saturday afternoon probably ever! The manager Danica sure did an awesome job! Finally gave them another try. What a wast of $16 for the buffet. The salad bar was a mess and lettuce was brown and wilted. Soda machine was down. They had two partial pizza that were old and never brought out another one in over thirty minutes before I had to leave. Seems to be more focused on smoking out back and making to go orders. read more

Ordered takeout from Mountain Mike's. One medium pizza and one salad to go. $39 When I walked over to the salad bar to make my to go salad the lettuce was brown, slimy and decomposing. When I asked the employee to please bring out some fresh lettuce she looked at me like I was crazy and said new lettuce had already been added. I told her either bring fresh lettuce or give me my money back. She gave me the stink eye and brought out a new bag of lettuce and dumped it on top of the brown, slimy lettuce!!! . I guess they figure if they leave the rotten lettuce there some sucker will actually eat it. This is so disappointing. Mountain Mike's can and should do better than trying to pass off rotten food on their customers. Especially at the prices they charge. read more

My Husband ordered on line a small Pepperoni Pizza and it said it would be ready in 45 mins. There customer service is bad, and it seems they have no problem insinuating you are not telling the truth!!! We WILL never order from this Mountain Mike's on Pelandale again! read more

Tonight my family and I came in and ordered a cheese pizza "for here" and had a seat. There was one other group of people in the restaurant. My children asked to exchange $2 bills for quarters & they were told no. 45 minutes later we still hadn't gotten our pizza. Someone approached our table and asked to "clear our trash" (our cups) and I said Trash! We have not even gotten our pizza yet and we have been sitting here for almost an hour! And he just looked at me and said "uuhhhhhh". Turns out it was in a to-go box waiting for us to "pick it up"! They brought it to our table, in the to-go box with no plates and the pizza was cold! There was nothing offered to make the situation right. Just a laugh while saying oops I'm sorry! Over 45 minutes later and we finally got our cold pizza in a box with no plates, peppers, or ranch! We will not be back! This isn't our first bad experience there... read more

Sorry...delayed review.....I ordered an extra large pizza and an order of wings for delivery from here. I get pizza a couple times a month from different locations, but before COVID-19, I would usually pick it up because the family doesn't like to wait. Now with COVID-19, I'd rather not go out. So, I get the order delivered, roughly an hour later (which is understandable, as I am sure they are busy with COVID-19), and I ask the girl who is delivering if she has cheese and peppers. She said, "Oh no, I don't have any...you have to ask for cheese and peppers". What?!! I've been getting pizza delivered for decades...and I just spent $61 on a pizza and some wings, and gave a tip....and they can't give me $0.30 worth of complimentary cheese and peppers?? Wow...OK, note to self.....do not to get pizzas from Mountain Mikes in the future!!! read more
