Today we ordered a large pepperoni and a large veggie. Both pizzas were very, very delicious, but especially our veggie. It was loaded with veggies, and that's how my hubby and I like it. I called Mountain Mike's on Palendale to ask who made our pizza because I want to make sure that the next time we order, Destiny makes our pizzas. They were 10 out of 10 delicious. We came for lunch buffet on a Friday at 12:15pm and I asked if there was any of the Himalayan pizza and they said they can make it. As the pizza refills came out, I asked what pizzas there were, and one of the employees said they take requests too! We had salad, pizzas, and desserts all for $26 + tip! TERRIBLE location!! If you have your hours listed as open til 10pm, that means you stay open til 10pm! What a joke of a business. We placed an online order for the MOUNTAIN pizza and a Large pizza for a big group. The order was processed and confirmed (via email) at 9:16pm. Estimated time for pick up was 9:36pm but when we got there at 9:35pm it was pitch black, closed, no one there, no one answered phone call. If you're closed at 9pm or 9:30pm please update your time or maybe don't allow for people to place orders for pick up til 10pm. Wasted our time driving there, will be disputing my bank for the money back since you guys don't want to pick up your phones to discuss this properly for a simple refund. read more

Go here about twice a month and have never had a bad pizza. Service is always fast and friendly. Usually go in the early afternoon so there's not really much of a crowd, but they do get busy at times. Plenty of tvs on the walls so there's really not a bad place to sit. Only wish they would have green olives on the pizza, but I haven't found any places in California that do. read more

First off, this was our 6th or 7th time eating here in the past month or so which should speak for itself. Every time we come in the owner/co owner Sandeep is always friendly and smiling! As you know, smiles are contagious so it's always a good thing to spread happiness! The atmosphere is calm, inviting and well decorated with a modern rustic feel. That's just the ambiance, now on to the service. I've never been treated so well at a pizza parlor than I have here at this location. I mean first class service all the way! You can request what pizza you'd like when ordering the lunch buffet, eat from a well stocked and well kept salad bar, and have plenty of choices as to what pizza you'd want to try as they make 4 plus pizzas at a time with breadsticks! That's not including our requested Memphis. When the Memphis came out, the manager Denika went as far as tossing it and remaking a fresh one because the cabbage was looking too old! I mean she was ready to go buy more cabbage at the store if we wanted! Of course we weren't going to make her do that but man, that's superb customer service and dedication if you ask me. Now on to the quality. The soda is properly mixed and not watered down and the pizzas are always fresh and made how they oughta be! No skimping on ingredients and cooked to perfection! If you ask me, Denika and Sandeep make a powerhouse business partnership providing top notch customer service which leads to customer satisfaction! If I had stock in this particular location I'd double down as they definitely know how to run and manage a business. We came here for the Modesto Mavericks meet and greet. I'm sure this is the most busy they've been on a Saturday afternoon probably ever! The manager Danica sure did an awesome job! Had my daughters birthday party here last Sunday. Employees were super helpful & friendly!! We were able to book the party room for no cost. The area was perfect for our party. There was lots of tables and plenty of space. Even had TVs in there. The employees put my daughters birthday cake in their fridge until we wanted it. We ordered wings and pizza. Ordered takeout from Mountain Mike's. One medium pizza and one salad to go. $39 When I walked over to the salad bar to make my to go salad the lettuce was brown, slimy and decomposing. When I asked the employee to please bring out some fresh lettuce she looked at me like I was crazy and said new lettuce had already been added. I told her either bring fresh lettuce or give me my money back. She gave me the stink eye and brought out a new bag of lettuce and dumped it on top of the brown, slimy lettuce!!! . I guess they figure if they leave the rotten lettuce there some sucker will actually eat it. This is so disappointing. My Husband ordered on line a small Pepperoni Pizza and it said it would be ready in 45 mins. W live not 2 mins away and by the time he arrived home the pizza was COLD and it was made with no crust at all!!!!! I called and spoke to Aaron and was he said he had no idea as he had stepped outside, and put me on hold while he spoke someone else, I asked them to take this pizza back and to make another one and was told that there is no way that it would of been cold!! Tonight my family and I came in and ordered a cheese pizza "for here" and had a seat. There was one other group of people in the restaurant. My children asked to exchange $2 bills for quarters & they were told no. 45 minutes later we still hadn't gotten our pizza. Someone approached our table and asked to "clear our trash" (our cups) and I said Trash! We have not even gotten our pizza yet and we have been sitting here for almost an hour! And he just looked at me and said "uuhhhhhh". Turns out it was in a to-go box waiting for us to "pick it up"! They brought it to our table, in the to-go box with no plates and the pizza was cold! Sorry...delayed review.....I ordered an extra large pizza and an order of wings for delivery from here. I get pizza a couple times a month from different locations, but before COVID-19, I would usually pick it up because the family doesn't like to wait. Now with COVID-19, I'd rather not go out. So, I get the order delivered, roughly an hour later (which is understandable, as I am sure they are busy with COVID-19), and I ask the girl who is delivering if she has cheese and peppers. She said, "Oh no, I don't have any...you have to ask for cheese and peppers". What?!! I've been getting pizza delivered for decades...and I just spent $61 on a pizza and some wings, and gave a tip....and they can't give me $0.30 worth of complimentary cheese and peppers?? It was my first time going to the Pelandale location. I ordered a half and half. One side with pepperoni and some other stuff and on the other side, completely different toppings with sausage as the meat instead of pepperoni. The pepperoni I got was not the curly crispy pepperoni that mountain mikes is famous for. It's like they used a totally different pepperoni, which I was pretty disappointed about. Plus they put pepperoni instead of sausage on the half that was supposed to be half sausage, which sucked because my girlfriend doesn't like pepperoni, which was the whole reason we got a half and half. I've always been happy with the Standiford location. I'll keep going there. read more

We live in Salida and for some reason I get HORRIBLE cell service at my house. I called this location for a pizza delivery and not only did I have horrible service, but my toddler was crying at my feet very loudly...I asked the woman on the phone (don't know her name) "what?" Like 100 times. I felt horrible...but this woman stuck with me. I know how to generally order a pizza for delivery over the phone. So in the end-I gave my address, phone number, and my order, and my card info and just told the girl "I hope you're getting all of this and I'm so sorry I can't hear anything you're saying". I've been told people can hear me fine, I just can't hear them. I hung up the phone and told my hubs "Well, I guess we will see if we get pizza tonight" lol sure enough-someone showed up at our door and the wait was not long at all. We tipped him and then opened the pizza box and somehow-they got our order correct. They gave us plenty of cheese and pepper and as usual-the pizza was so good. This location deserves to be recognized. We are somewhat new to the area and previously went to Round Table. The service there was so bad we decided to try Mountain Mikes and we are so pleased. The pizza is great, but more importantly the service is EXCELLENT. Today it was about 113 degrees outside, they were slammed and the woman that helped me was so kind even though she was overwhelmed with orders. The gentleman cooking the pizzas was also friendly and I wanted to take the time to say thank you. This location had a great start, then struggled as the year progressed. They are definitely a relief from the Standiford location. Orders have been accurate and timely the last few months. Recently "Anana" took our order over the phone and did an excellent job. What separated her from the other employees was the efficient manner in which she took our order. Some might view this as petty, but a clear and concise conversation while reverse commuting after a ten hour shift is a huge relief when picking up a pizza to bring home. The icing on the cake was the kitchens performance on the pizza... Exactly as ordered, timely and piping hot. Perfect. Quick questions, phone number and order verification, and an ETA in under 60 seconds and no mistakes. Anana.. If your boss isn't treating you well or your underpaid, consider a career in Emergency Dispatch. The folks scrambling in the back. Good work, your starting to mesh. Keep up the great work. The salad bar looked like it had not been refreshed since dinner time last night. We brought this up to the manager and the salad bar was hastily put together with the same left over produce. Yuck! The pizza for the buffet was already stiff, greasy and cold by 11:20. The restrooms smelled so strongly of urine, it's obviously not cleaned often. The kitchen was a huge mess, I took a picture of the disastrous pizza making station. Just unclean all around. I was so excited as a salida resident to be getting a new mountain mike's off Pelandale ave. I've eaten in the restaurant and had pizza delivered. The restaurant had very filthy floors and salad bar was a mess, but I figured they're new and maybe the staff is new as well. The last 2 times I had pizza delivered I ordered both pizzas well done. I like the crust, meat and veggies done. Both times they were not well done and the dough wasn't even cooked. It's like fresh dough. not only that I ordered my pizzas this evening at 6:20 they didn't arrive till 8pm. An hour and 40 minutes it took for delivery when I was told it was an hour to hour and 15 mins. It really sucks this place doesn't have their stuff together like all the other stores.
