Haven't been here for awhile and noticed some changes when I first got one. 1) they got a pad near the entry to order your food and pay by credit card. First time using it and was easy to look at the menu and order. You can still order with a real person on the counter but this helps in case there was people in the front which there was when I came. Only difference when ordering on the pad, you don't get your drink to fill like you would with an employee in the front 2) they remodeled the place. Lot lighter color. New tables and chairs. There use to be tables on both walls but they took the ones out on the fountain drink side. The food- got me the prawns and fish. Still delish, the fries were fresh. When I got my order, they only give you the tartar sauce. If you want the malt vinegar, you have to ask so they give you in a small cup. We were over at Stanton Optical Next door . It was lunchtime and we were hungry . Went in and ordered right away . Service was quick and cordial. We ordered Combos . Fish and Prawns. Very Good ! Nice juice and tender w/ a nice crunchy batter . The Fries were pretty good . Son had a combo too . I can't remember which one but, it had prawns, Scallops, fish , and calamari. I tried his chowder . Ordered the Fish and Prawns (comes with 4 prawns) for $12.99. All orders come with chips. My order also came with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. Any additional sauces are $0.75 each, so I got the malt vinegar and Louisiana hot sauce. Total was $14.49 for everything The fish here is GOOD! Very tender on the inside and the batter is crispy and slightly airy. The fish didn't have any "fishy" smell or taste either which was great. The tartar sauce is DIVINE, they definitely have this down to a tee. It's creamy, heavy on the pickle/vinegar, and very remiscent to mayonaise in the best way. Coming back just for the tartar sauce honestly! The chips are good, slightly crispy on the outside but more potatoey on the inside. Salted well. They offer ketchup packets. The prawns were okay, I wouldn't get them again. They were overcooked and you could tell they've been fried multiple times based on how hard both the interior and exterior was. Pass. Decided to give this restaurant a try during lent on a Friday and it was busy. The place is small but the vibe is comfortable. The food is made to order so all of our food came out freshly made which is very nice. We had some clams that were delicious. The calamari is okay, I prefer the ones with tentacles but that's just me. The fish was fantastic. Nice and crispy and they also have tasty tartar sauce and their cocktail sauce was also great. The hush puppies were also delicious you could tell they make them in house. Overall we enjoyed our Good Friday late lunch. Definitely a place worth visiting. read more

Clearly this place is under new ownership since I came here last , walked in and they're just on there phones & didn't wash their hands when I asked - the lady just ignored me and turned away. Continued to grab my food trays I told her I didn't want those ones. I hand to interrupt the other worker since she finally put gloves on ( still didn't wash her hands) to get me two new trays. Their hair is just blowing around with not being tied back minus a hair tie that doesn't do anything. All wearing air pods in their ears would hate for that to fall in the fryer. Price: $14 for two pieces of fish is quite steep in my opinion. Taste: Fish is cooked to order, juicy, lightly seasoned, not overcooked, not overly greasy. There is no unpleasant grease flavor, which is usually indicative of frying oil that hasn't been changed in awhile. There is no fishy taste with the cod and the catfish tastes like catfish. This is a small family owned and run business. It is a hole in the wall but it is well established and been around for years. The locals find this place to be a true gym when craving fish. I personally don't eat fried food often but the food was good. Hush puppies were excellent, a little smaller than I expected. The fish was delicious and good size portions cooked to perfection! The coleslaw was not good at all! It was bland and tasted like mayonnaise and cabbage. I was highly disappointed in the coleslaw so I suggest you pass on it, don't waste your money. There is no service as you place your order at the counter and then they call your number to retrieve your food when it's ready. Only thing I can say is they are friendly and patient while you peruse the menu searching for what you want to eat. I highly recommend you stop by and try this place out if ever in the area! I just as highly recommend you skip the coleslaw! Parking is limited and can be a challenge for anyone who may not want to or can't walk too far. We got lucky as we went at the opening of the restaurant so we got front row parking right in front of the door. It is located in a busy strip mall so that is where I foresee it could be challenging. This is the first time I try London fish and chips and it was delicious! We had the 9 piece, calamari basket, hush puppies and corn dogs for the kids ( it all came with fries), they were also pretty generous with the different sauces for the calamari and fish. We called in our order for pickup. Our order was ready pretty fast. The restaurant is small, they have tables and chairs, but it is a little snug. That's why we chose to do pickup instead. Very welcoming place. Second visit here and the first time it was meh but this time it was very good. Came just after they opened and everything was hot fresh and tasty. Not a lot of seasoning but enough to enjoy your fried fish and want more. The decor isn't much but when you get your food you are no longer interested in the decor. We love coming to this little hole in the wall place! The coating is a batter type, but was light and of medium thickness. They use cod and the pieces are relatively uniform with a golden fry. Their sampler plate had shrimp, oysters and scallops and all were moist and tender. Their clams and chips were nicely browned and mild in flavor.
