Pizza Good enough for Rico's Roughnecks! Man I really love this place. I judge my choices specifically on the food and the service. The way the place looks is always bonus. Let's get into this. First - the pizza is always fresh and baked perfectly. We have gotten so many different types and sizes of pizza. Everything from the personal up to the party size. The party size pizza is a little pricey but it feeds so many people! The ingredients are always fresh. I haven't gotten any veggies or proteins that taste like they say in a fridge for too long. I recommend an order of onion rings as well! Super good classic style rings. Not the crumb Sysco rings. Second - I truly can't remember the owner's name but she is the most friendly down to earth lady. She lives locally in the valley and is just a small business owner trying to make a living for her family. With that being said the service is always on point. They are happy to help and are great about requests on your pizza. Third - The inside isn't cutting edge pizza parlor. However there is plenty of room for larger parties of 20+. There is a billiard table to play with your friends. They have some old school arcade games, a pinball machine and some prize claw games. They have soda fountain machines and they serve beer as well. Overall this is a great pizza place. I know Hughson has pizza Factory and it is a great place too. I'm just saying don't count this place out. It's awesome and is our no. 1 pizza spot in Ceres and Hughson. read more

Been here and got pizza and beers, played pool and had a very nice time, the gentleman working was so kind as he even put the game on for us. Brought my kids here to get some pizza and the lady working the front was clearly overwhelmed! I tried ordering a couple micheladas and she gave a look like I was bothering her! When I asked if she was ok with making them, she said yeah I'm the only one here! I told her to forget it, she should not work customer service if she is unable to accommodate customers!! read more

Been going here for many many years and it's still our favorite pizza spot. The pizza is delicious and hot and customer service is 5/5. We love the huge party room to host our families and hubby enjoys the beers. Thr kids always love it. It's worth making the drive here. read more

Under new ownership!! Great place to have parties and for the kids to play games. Beer and wine for parents to unwind. Delivery and pickup is also an option. Toppings are fresh and most importantly pizza was delicious. We had a great experience and the new owners and staff are friendly with great customer service. Giving props to Rico's for the $30 party pizza I ordered for my basketball team. We had an away game in Hughson. Since the drive is at least an hour one way, we wouldn't have time to stop and eat. I yelped "pizza" in Hughson and came across Rico's. I needed the pizzas to be delivered by 9 pm at their high school. The game ran long, but the pizza was delivered on time! And the party pizza was huge! Enough to feed 12 hungry Varsity student-athletes and with some left overs for JV and freshman. Thanks Rico's! 5+ stars in my book! read more

I grew up on Rico's pizza! Where else can you get a party size pizza the size of a poker table...we ate at this establishment after my Son's football game against Hughson. It was fairly clean. We ordered a cheese and half Hawaiian pizza and bread sticks....I was a little turned off when I saw a full bearded employee making pizza's with nothing covering his beard....didn't care for that...it gave it 3 stars because we were the only customers in th restaurant and it took over and hour for them get our food to us. We frequent pizza joints weekly and average wait time is 30mins...even when they are busy....they had pool table, air hockey, a few video games and a TV..... read more

My nephew plays football here in hughson, and this last fall they did a fundraiser to raise money for the program. The fundraiser was selling coupon books that included local businesses. Today I called to redeem a coupon from Rico's pizza. I was informed that this place was under new ownership and they weren't familiar with the coupon. The owner was more than willing to honor the coupon with no hesitation. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and very assisting. So based off the customer service alone, it was a 5 Star!! Now to the pizza. The pizza was fresh and delicious and you could tell they actually put care into making these pizzas. The crust was perfect and there were plenty of toppings. From the start to the end was an extremely enjoyable experience for my family and I. Great job Rico's! You are in great hands! Will be returning when I'm back in town!! read more

We heard the buzz of new ownership at this place. So we came yesterday Friday 2/18 we ordered pizza and wings (fried). The wings were the bomb crispy and good size wings. The owners were very accommodating to us and other customers. It seems the place has been cleaned and sanitized. I definitely come back to eat here again. Did not honor daily specials. The business didn't have anyone at all inside yet would not honor the signs they had that said "Monday and Tuesday 2 topping for $9.99. They had one hand written sign that said "Two topping $9.99 carry out only" but the other signs (that were printed professionally) did not say anything about carry out. So they have a empty restaurant and turned us away. We went to Mt. Mikes and will never be back to Ricos. Too bad as they have decent pizza. read more

Sorry I had to give this place one star. I used to buy my party size pizza in Empire, but my main man retired. I ordered a Rico's Party Supreme for over $41, and that pizza in Empire was stacked full of meats and veggies, but I feel ripped off in Hughson, the meats mind you were placed around the edges, which you could barely see, and the middle was filled with cheese, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, no meats at all in center of pizza to outer edges. I felt totally ripped off from this place and cheated. Glad some can give 5 stars, but I have been getting pizza from Rico's since the 90's, and this is a big RIP OFF!!!!! I was not impress with this location. I rather drive out to Turlock or Ceres and get better tasting pizza (that's if I even want ricos) We ordered their biggest meat lover pizza along with a pepperoni one and had to almost twist their arm for cheese and pepper. They charged me for ranch, come on not even one free after paying $50ish for pizza. I didn't even use your facility, took it home. Oh and no plates either. First and last time here. If in Hughson just go to Pizza Factory, the best! My top choice for pizza. read more

Ordered a pizza. They said it would be done in 15 min. When I got there, they had to redo it because they made a mistake. Meanwhile my kids were getting fussy. The delay was only about 10 minutes. Stopped here on a whim with a couple of friends for dinner. Very happy we did! We were welcomed by Pardeep and his family at the door. The selection of different pizzas was not overwhelming. This restaurant is one of my favorites! My boyfriend and I just moved to Hughson a few months ago and on our first night, he looked at close places that deliver. We were so surprised that Rico's delivered and the manager is so friendly! He delivers all the food and always goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I love the fact that they remember who we are and remember what we order! There has been a time where they did not have a Pepsi or avocados, so the manager went and bought some just to make us happy! The food here is absolutely great! We have had most of the food, ranging from wings, the avocado burger, chicken burger, and the cheese fries with bacon along with more! We have had no complaints at all about the food, the time of delivery, or the customer service! We always order from Rico's any chance we get. This is definitely a restaurant that we recommend for any occasion, whether it's dining in or getting your food delivered. They make you feel like family in this close Hughson community.
