I open the bag. The nachos have chicken on them, guac, pico and all this other stuff my grandson would not eat and we would asked for it without (although we asked for no chicken and still got chicken so doubt they would have listened anyways) I will note that el polo loco corporate website explicitly states that you can substitute or remove toppings. No straw for our drink but put SIX forks in the bag which was just offensive at that point. So now I'm $15 out with a meal my grandson wouldn't eat with some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Then I went and spent another $15 for a dinner he would eat somewhere else. So really I'm out $30 based simply on incompetent employees from this place. I literally had never been to el polo loco before and certainly will never return.

So we let them know in about 10 minutes later a young man put ice in the top. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food and still not getting it. I went up to the counter and asked if our food was getting close. Meanwhile, the place was still dirty tables unattended to and the salad bar looked exactly the same. All this why I saw two workers sitting at the bar, maybe on a break? But the timing of this seemed off to be honest the young man said that our food had just came out and they were cutting it up. About five minutes later, our food was delivered to the table. However, my wife's pizza was wrong. We checked the ticket and the ticket didn't match what she ordered. She told the guy to not remake it that she was hungry cause we've been sitting there for so long, so she just ate what was presented to us. It was at that time that I Voice, my displeasure for seeing workers sitting at a bar and the place in shambles and then our food comes and it's wrong. He just listened to my complaint and had nothing to say. He then asked for my wife's name and said that the next time we came back, she would get a free pizza. And I thought to myself, next time? Why not go ahead and take the pizza that you got wrong off of the bill? Next time, doesn't mean lost profits. If we don't return, then there's nothing lost. At this point we just really wanted out of here. I don't trust the fact that her name is on some sort of a list that's ongoing for screwed up orders. When you look at the reviews online about this business, really focus on the last 12 months. So many reviews are about customer service, rudeness, and overall performance. From now on, as much as I don't want to, we will go to Mountain Mikes.
