My wife and I had been here several times before, over the years since they opened, and always had a good meal. Here are our thoughts on our most recent visit on 4-15-2025. The ambiance is solidly western, comfortable and inviting. The seating was prompt, the server came to take our drink order in a reasonable time, but the way the staff was buzzing around, we chose to combine our drinks and meal order. The food was brought out promptly, beginning with the Portuguese beans, a signature item along with bread. Both we as good as we remembered, though the beans did not come with a spoon to serve them from the small cast iron bowl, and so had to use our forks. The steaks and baked potatoes followed in a few mins, I noticed that my potato was cold, so much so that the butter wasn't melting. Hmmm, never seen that before. The toppings were generous though, and overall, had it been warmer would have scored high in my book. The steak was cooked as we like them, and the value was good. I am trying to get us both to down order a bit so we stop taking food home to sit in the fridge. It rarely tastes as good on day two. We finished up our meal, noted that we were never asked for a second drink, but came away sated. I am sure we will be back. Overall, good but not stellar.

Amazing menu and service at the bar with Isabelle. The food selection is vast including all kinds of steak, seafood and chicken. County atmosphere is fun. I had prime rib awesome! Soft and tender so delicious. So much food so bring a big appetite!!! This was my first time here but not my last. Next time I'm fasting for a day before

The food is good. They provide excellent service. When I look at the menu. It was too pricey. Free appetizer or dessert if you have a ticket from the movie theatre request the same day as the same date.

Omg, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Everything was perfect and exactly what I expected a quality steak to taste like. Honestly outback and Texas Roadhouse steak could never ever compare! The only thing that prevented a 5 star was service, waitress wasn't as attentive or friendly, she seemed to rush. Price is higher than other steak houses, however the taste was worth it.

Called before hand to ask about a reservation. Was told I did not need to make one, as they are pretty open on a Saturday night. Once me and my uncle showed up we had to wait to be seated. Once we were seated we ordered drinks. They weren't the greatest drinks but decent. When we ordered our food I asked if my soup or salad can be substituted with a second side which I wasn't able to. So I opted for a salad then ordered a Cesar salad which was an over $5 up charge. I thought that was not acceptable as it's a very common salad choice but just agreed to it even though at that point I might as well have asked for a regular salad and add the side I wanted for the charge. Once our food arrived on the skillet it was not hot but lukewarm. My uncle had a baked potato with the butter on it not melting at all. In regard to our stakes they were pretty plain. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked really good but still plain and dry. Our server was not the greatest very slow and once we were given our bill she took awhile to return to pick it back up. In regard to the ambience it was alright. Nothing exciting or lack luster, the age of the restaurant did show itself with the vibe as my uncle said it's been there for a really long time. Personally won't be returning back as there are better options around.

Was craving steak and shrimp so went to our go to steakhouse conveniently located by our house . Steak was cooked perfectly nice and tender and juicy . Shrimp wasn't your simple shrimp scampi it was loaded with delicious mushrooms as well . My asparagus spears were delicious too !!! We hadn't made any dinner plans this evening so tonight was the night! Gervasoni's is a great little hole in the wall. The decor is a bit mismatched so the vibe is kind of all over the place but it's still a good time. The staff are all really nice, the service is prompt. It's clean and tidy inside. The food was kind of lackluster though, which is why I can't give it a higher rating. A special appetizer, they had crabcakes this evening. It's important to note that I'm a Marylander, born and bred so I have incredibly strong feelings about crabcakes. I pretty much know to be very cautious about anything offered outside of my home state. The proper ones should be all crab with just enough 'filler' to hold them together. These were the complete opposite. I split the order with my partner and still gave up halfway through an individual cake. They just weren't for me. I had intended to get the frog legs to try them for the very first time in my life but they were all out! My partner got the fish and chip special. We were both surprised to see that the fish weren't beer battered, but it does look like they make them fresh in house instead of frozen and that is very cool! He loved the coleslaw and said it was really good! He also got the limelight cocktail and it was delicious. Strong too, so worth every reasonable penny! I ordered the filet mignon and while cooked to perfect medium rare, it was not a good representation of the the cut itself. It was very fatty, segmented, and was rather tough in spots to cut. I also wish that when our server had asked if vegetables were okay, they had specified that the vegetables were just zucchini. They were large pieces, cooked to be quite mushy, and were greasy. Killer mash and gravy though. Here's the thing: I will be back! I wanna try out the sandwich/salad side of the menu and get a cocktail for myself! And try the desserts! I still have a really good feeling about this place! Just need to find the right entree for me.

Everyone is seated with their own individual hot pot plate to build their own individual hot pot. (Don't worry it does not burn). You choose your basic soup broth, choose the meat you would like, and then start grabbing things off the conveyor belts! It not only is a fun concept, you can get quite creative with how you build your hot pot and choose just the things to your liking. I was amazed that they had very authentic Chinese ingredients to choose from - wood ear, enoki mushrooms, bok choy, different kinds of noodles, fish balls, Napa cabbage, octopus, and lots of different varieties of selfish, plus much much more! I chose the traditional broth and they even had Chinese red dates in it plus wolfberries (sometimes known as Goji berries) in the broth just like what I grew up with The service was just ok, since it was our first time there we had to ask a lady to show us what we were supposed to do. She was helpful, but the servers don't come around very often. That said, the plates and dishes clutter up really fast and they don't come around very often to clear the dishes, for which I would have taken a star off. But my experience there with conveyor belt hot pot was so nice that I'm leaving it at five stars. What I liked best besides the authentic ingredients, is that you can become quite creative to build your own hot pot to your own liking.

It's quieter and less busy. You can tell the staff take pride in cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. The pasta is definitely fresh/ homemade. I disagree STRONGLY with the other review that suggested it's pasta-roni style sauce. The ingredients are fresh and food was good. We've tried the Rigatoni, Gnocchi, Lasagna, Fettuccine, Lobster Ravioli, Mango Panna Cotta, and Torta Al Cioccolato and their fresh hot bread; all were enjoyable. When we've come the staff took some time to tell us a bit about the family history- passed along traditions and it's clear the recipes as well. This is a family-oriented legacy for these folks. And there's honor in that. If you're into just food, vibes, and low prices- this is NOT your venue. This is a place to celebrate a family (the owners) sharing a bit of themselves with you and yours. Note- people who complain typically mention price without thinking it's not just the food cost, but the lease, utilities, the insurance, staff wages. You're not going to get out to dinner here less than $60 for 2 (with a nominal tip and no booze). But THATS THE POINT- I'm thankful for the care, time, and heart that is put into each dish. We will be back and share this oddly-located, pretty tasty place with our friends and family.
