I even ate a few slices while there and again, I was assured that it was okay. I ordered a medium 1/2 BBQ Chicken minus the bacon and 1/2 vegetarian with extra thick crust. When it came out to my table I was blown away with excitement. The pie was THICK and the tippings looked fresh and esthetically nice. I'm a huge pizza fanatic. I love love pizza and always on the hunt for the best pizza I can find. It was my first time here and they didn't disappoint. I got half veggie pizza and half cheese. The veggie was good but I really liked the cheese. I personally think you test how good a pizza place is by their cheese pizza and theirs was excellent. I tried the original wings which come out more crispy then the mango habanero wings with sauce in them. I like my wings crispy that's just me. But the flavor on the mango habanero was good, just next time I would ask them to try and make them crispier. The service was very polite and right away offered me recommendations. Nice clean inside seating, not a big dinning area but big enough for small gatherings. Definitely one of my new favorite pizzas in town. We like the Oakdale and Ripon location and was excited when I heard they opened a spot in Modesto. The pizza game in Modesto is severely lacking so this is great. Tried to get a deliver but they do t have their own process so ordered through Uber eats, that was ok next time I will just pick it up. Usually the phone eats first but I forgot to take that pic..... First, I've heard amazing things about this place before they opened up in Modesto. I believed they are located in Oakdale, Ripon, and one or two other places. I've had the one in Ripon before it was Gold Dust, previously named Pizza Plus. I'm a pizza addict, so I'm always looking to try a new pizza place especially when they sell slices. I personally love NY style slices and square slices (Golden Boy SF). Once I stepped inside, it was packed and the lady that took my order said it would be about 7 mins because they just put a pie in the oven. I took my slice outside where there are a couple table to enjoy your slice. First glance, it doesn't look very appealing, but I knew they use lots of cheese and are heavy on the toppings. Based off the smell, I knew that this was going to be a solid slice! Of course, it was amazing! The crust was crispy, the sauce is DELICIOUS, and the pepperoni was perfectly crisp. Hands down, great pizza! I only gave them 4 stars based on the price, $4.33 is a little bit pricy but I understand that the cost to operate a business isn't cheap. I just remember getting a slice at the Ripon location for $3 and some change. I'd definitely eat it again, probably the best slice you can get in Modesto! read more

I don't recommend this pizza joint. Ordered a pepperoni pizza & it was a mess. Looked & tasted like a cheese pizza with prosciutto layered over the top, but it tasted like it was uncooked prosciutto. They offer few discounts unless you're a senior or military (thx for your service guys). For $35 I have my choice to try a lot of other places & this is one place I will not go back to.
