First time trying Gold Dust Pizza but people Ive spoken to says their pizza is good so had to find out for myself. I did a take out order and went for a small Triple Strike pizza which had diced, cupped and regular pepperoni on an original crust They added 2 Mikes Hot Honey sauces to my order. Verdict- pretty good pizza, the bread was thick and the tomato sauce was good that it wasn't overpowering. I liked the diced pepperoni since it was extra crispy and reminded me of those frozen pepperoni pizza growing up that just had diced pepperoni. There was plenty of meat for every bite. The hot honey was interesting to try and countered the saltiness of the pepperoni. I didn't do it for just a few bites since I didn't need the extra sugar in my system. I only could eat 2 slices so it was quite filling. Might have to try the thin crust next time. Great pizza and worth trying read more

I'm not even half way done eating, had to made a review! I've been a chef for 12 years, this is hands down THE BEST PIZZA I've had in a long time! Love how the crust is both crunchy and soft! The pizza is perfectly sauced and they are heavy handed with the toppings (which I loooove!) The wings are amazing and came out piping hot, just like the pizza! Ranch is delicious! The service was amazing and they are super friendly! Love how it's small enough for a cozy lunch, but roomy enough for multiple small parties. Upon entering the restaurant I didn't like the location much seemed really crammed and built more takeout rather than dine in for pizza. We were able to place an order and I was disappointed about they did not have fountain drinks to offer. I bought a couple soda bottles. Pizza took quite a while to come out. Staff was friendly just very busy. We finally got our pizza and garlic parmesan wings. Pizza was delicious and fully loaded. Wings were tender and flavorful. Definitely will return but going the to go takeout order option. May visit the restaurant in Oakdale to get the full experience. This location is more takeout friendly. read more

Definitely my favorite pizza in the area. Pricing and wait time could be better but it just shows a lot of other people also really like the pizza here. I've visited this location a fee times now and they are very consistent and generous with thier portions of pizza by the slice. They run a lunch special that is around $5 for a thick slice and a drink. The pizza is very well cooked and they give yiu a generous amount if cheese. Very satisfying and cooked fresh every time. The veggie was good but I really liked the cheese. I personally think you test how good a pizza place is by their cheese pizza and theirs was excellent. I tried the original wings which come out more crispy then the mango habanero wings with sauce in them. I like my wings crispy that's just me. But the flavor on the mango habanero was good, just next time I would ask them to try and make them crispier. The service was very polite and right away offered me recommendations. Nice clean inside seating, not a big dinning area but big enough for small gatherings. Definitely one of my new favorite pizzas in town. We like the Oakdale and Ripon location and was excited when I heard they opened a spot in Modesto. The pizza game in Modesto is severely lacking so this is great. Tried to get a deliver but they do t have their own process so ordered through Uber eats, that was ok next time I will just pick it up. Usually the phone eats first but I forgot to take that pic..... We ordered a specialty pizza, the yuppy, it's a veggie style and it was delicious! When it came out to my table I was blown away with excitement. The pie was THICK and the tippings looked fresh and esthetically nice. The wait is never long and the pizza is HUGE!, absolutely loaded with cheese and toppings. My kids go feral for the mozzarella breadsticks--basically a giant cheese pizza that is sauce-less.
