This is hands down one of the best pizza spots in existence. I have family that lives over here and they are sick of everyone asking to go here when visiting, but it's just THAT GOOD. Please see the photos I've attached to get what I mean. They DO NOT SKIMP on toppings at all and the crust is fantastic. I do not state this lightly, their cheese bread (which they call mozzarella sticks) is the GOAT of all cheese bread. I just can't even describe the gooey, greasy, cheesy goodness that bread has. It is a must order every time. The inside is spacious and has plenty of booths to sit at plus some arcade games in the back for the kiddos. Also has good private rooms for bigger parties and celebrations. Service has always been solid, and wait time is never something you're hung up on. It's been years since we've eaten here. During the pandemic, we picked up a pizza and when we got home (15 minutes away), the crust was too soggy. All of the toppings rolled off onto my plate and didn't make it to my mouth. I was like a baby bird with my beak open waiting for my food. I put the toppings back on, folded it like a taco, and didn't enjoy the soggy mess. The toppings were good though. Today we had the Motherlode Meat Pizza and added mushrooms and olives. This time the crust was perfectly crispy, tasty, and golden brown. The meat was chunky, delicious, and abundant. No complaints about their garden salad with ranch dressing and bone-in wings with buffalo sauce either. There's plenty of seating and separate rooms. Called in an order for pizza and breadsticks at 4:00 on a Monday and asked if it could be ready at 5:00. I got a text at 4:49 that it was ready. I got to Gold Dust at 5:00 and paid. They said it wasn't ready and they forgot to put it in the oven. It's 5:30. Still no pizza and they didn't do anything to try to make it right. It is 5:45 and I got my pizza and breadsticks. When I asked about it, they said they forgot to put in the breadsticks but had made the pizza. When I got my order, I asked if since they made the breadsticks, did they also remake the pizza? They said no and the pizza that they gave me had been sitting for an hour, but I got new breadsticks. Seriously disappointing. I understand that people make mistakes, but they should try to make it right to their customers. read more

Fast service and a very helpful young lady. Food was excellent(lemon pepper wings were ) Now ...the issues, since I was driving from Tracy i tried to call and order so it would be ready since it was approaching evening commute (if you know you know) I was l told it i would be on a brief hold. 10 MINUTES LATER! after hanging up and calling back ( LOL I was almost there) and no empathy from the lady who answered and despite her attitude toward me I ordered and pulled up......TO THE WRONG LOCATION. I ordered in Lodi, was quite helpful explained to Lodi the situation and took a new order from me and was empathetic and understanding. Noisy but great pizza There is street parking on Main st. The pizza here is thick with a soft crust. Sauce is delicious and the toppings are a lot. Not skimpy like some other places. Also it is not greasy I had the veggie pizza and my husband had pepperoni and sausage. One of the best pizzas within a 30 minute radius for me. My girlfriend would always come here with her family whenever they were craving pizza. I never understood why until i tried it . They're Legit! I love how spacious the dining area is . It might be packed at times but it's well worth. Service is always very friendly as well. I think my favorite part has to be their spicy ranch. If flavor alone could carry a restaurant, this place would be Michelin-starred. Now for the bad news: apparently, I stumbled into the annual Fly Family Reunion. I don't know what's going on in that dining room, but I've never seen so many flies outside of a barnyard. There were several in the window desperately trying to escape, and I don't blame them-- even the flies want out. Nothing says "dining experience" like waving your hands around like a maniac while trying to guard your slice from airborne intruders. I ended up putting the box on top of my pizza just to keep it safe, which kind of defeats the point of, you know, eating it there. After five minutes of playing "whack-a-fly" with my napkin and losing, I surrendered. Got my pizza to go and finished it in the safety of my car, where the only buzzing sound was my own frustration. Would I come back? Maybe... if they fumigate the dining room or open a drive-thru. Until then, it's a five-star pizza trapped in a two-star fly circus. read more

Not bad pizza, but definitely not "the best pizza ever" as anyone who lives in the area has heard several times. We got the Gold Combo and it's fine and tastes fine but falls short. It was overloaded with toppings which is bad because then half of them fall off while you're trying to eat, there's so much water in the veggies that they don't cook correctly, and the pepperoni end up being greasy, floppy, nuisances. You also need to take into consideration how packed the place is and how long it will take to get your food. There's plenty of other pizza places around that are also not bad. Tried calling several times tonight, but couldn't get through. I finally drove there to place a takeout order. They said the phones were down. Waited around for a 30 or 40 mins for my pizza, just to take it home. Funny, but I tried to order over the phone about a month ago. Same thing. Phones didn't work. Ordered and waited around for 30 or 40 mins for the pizza to get made. So, tonight I got frustrated. I decided to send a note to the company through their website. Oops...doesn't work. Try again later it said after i hit send. They don't seem to take phone orders even though their website invites you to call an order in. I'd just modify your website to say no longer accepting phone orders so you don't waste customers time. I think it's a bad business model for a pizza place not to take phone orders, but it's your business I guess. Just let people know. I'd think it was just a coincidence, but it was 2 random days a month apart. Great pizza....one of my family's favorites in the area. There was 3 of us, and we barely dented this pizza. Half Digger Half Motherlode Meat Pizza - Both sides had cheese, salami, pepperoni, and sausage. Digger has mushrooms and black olives. Motherlode has ham, linguica, and bacon. The toppings are piled on and falling everywhere, as you try to pick up a slice. It's nuts. We were hungry, and we all left stuffed and glazed over. I made it through a slice and a half before I tapped out. The men with me had 2.5 to 3 pieces before giving up. You'll need a drink. There's a local root beer on tap, get that one, it's fantastic. Service seemed good. They were nice. Pizza took maybe 20 minutes to cook. We came around 2:30pm, and the crowd wasn't too bad. Then you're greeted by an old gold cash register on the counter and paintings above the inviting over sized booths. It's a cozy place with a buzz that comes from the patrons enjoying their food and the proud staff knowing and appreciating it. The pizza was incredible. Crust: 10/10 The bottom of the pizza was crispy without being burnt. The entire crust was airy chewy to crisp perfection. The Cheese 9/10 Cheese was thick and creamy, I had to use my fingers after most every bite to get the cheese detached from my mouth. Sauce 8/10 It was good, flavorful, complimentary. The toppings 11/10 The toppings were excellent but heaping. It should come with a warning. Keys to success:: Eat it there and ask for light toppings. Bottom Line: I was wowed. First timers. Someone mentioned this place in passing. Super tasty. We had wings, peperoni and the meat pizza. It was a crazy busy day. Took about an hour to get our food. Seems like people really love this place. The staff were nice and as helpful as they could be. But I would rate a 4.5 based on the lack of attentiveness. There were lots of staff could maybe look at the way the kitchen is organized. Even though we were told they were short staffed. Overall great spot and we will be back. The service was quick and the restaurant has a unique ambiance to it. There is a free parking lot behind the restaurant and there is a backdoor that you can use to enter from the parking lot. The set up is nice as it has big booths and some can accommodate up to 8 people. The pizza was memorable! Cheesy and cooked perfectly to have a bit of a crunch. My husband and sons are pizza lovers, me - not so much. However, this pizza is absolutely delicious and I could have it all the time if it was closer to us! This establishment is always busy so I recommend calling in a take-out order. We usually stop by when visiting my sister and her family in Ripon. I love the ambiance of family and local sporting teams always being present. The staff is so friendly. I appreciate that this establishment has not turned into one of those places that charge you for condiments & ranch (and they give you an amount proportionate to your order). Its been several months since we first had gold dust. This experience was a bit better but not perfect. To start off, we ordered Buffalo wings with sauce on the side. Wings were fantastic however they forgot our sauce. 3.8/5 but im sure if the sauce was there it would be a 5/5. We then had the cheesy bread sticks. I did not know how large this order was. It was the size of a medium pizza. Very good with tons of cheese. Key note, eat while its fresh dont let it go cold. 4/5 for the sticks. Finally the gold dust pizza had really fresh ingredients with decent portion of meat. Sauce was exceptional. Tangy bite to it. 4/5. Overall it was still better than our first experience. On a Saturday night, this was where everybody wanted to be! If you're following a crowd, to be able to find a good place, this is it! The place was packed! And I can understand why, I told my friend I was craving pizza and this is where she took me. The line to order was probably 10 people, but there are plenty of workers, so it goes by quickly. The order was taken quickly and it was a wait, but let me tell you, it's worth it! Make sure you get your receipt and they write down your name and last initial. Since it's so busy, you have no idea when your order will be ready. When we finally got our order, we brought it back home with us to enjoy and it was the centerpiece for our slumber party. The ingredients were all fresh: basil, pineapple, mushrooms and all! The pizza crust was warm. The cheese just right. We couldn't help, but eat more than one slice!
