Probably some of the best customer service that I have had in a really long time. The lady that took my order was so sweet and helpful. The pizza , I order a build your own personal size and that thing was cooked to perfection. Dough was soft with a light crunch and the combo of toppings was perfect. I left feeling satisfied not only with the service but with my meal too. Gotta give them a try!

Thanks to a foodie friend, we gave Mavericks a try and really liked the pizza. Great female owned neighborhood pizza joint. There are some tables & chairs but this is more a to go place with a couple of unique spins. Ordered their Monday night football special which came with a large specialty pizza and appetizer sampler for $39. Sample included: - 4-wings: similar to Safeways - Mozzarella Sticks: Frozen variety - Smoked rib-tips: the Hubbs loved them, very tender and smokey Added a garlic cheesy bread that had loads of butter & cheese along with a side of marinara that was very flavorful. Pizza was loaded with lots of cheese & toppings. With all the toppings, you can't eat more than 2 slices. Will definitely be back!

I tried this place maybe four weeks ago I talk to two of the ladies there super nice people The pizza looked great and maybe they had a off day but the meat pizza had hardly any sauce and my wife said the veggie pizza was tastless

This is my go to pizza spot in town. I love that they offer a personal pizza at a responsible price. Their combination pizza and wings are top notch. I had their meat balls the other day and what a treat. Customer service is always awesome, they're super friendly when answering the phone and anytime I go to pick up. The inside is cute and I love the song they always have on. There's a couple tables for people who want to eat in.

Second try, Pizza is not very good at all. Won't be going back. It should've at least had a cheese pull

Popped in last night for the first time, based on Yelp reviews. Small place, mostly for takeout. Two young people were friendly, helpful, and speedy. We ordered the family deal for around $50 which included appetizer, big salad, large combo pizza, and a dessert 'pie'. The mozzarella sticks and salad were pretty basic, but fresh and good. The pizza was very good and crust great. Next time we will order it to be a little more done per our liking. The dessert was a nice little treat. Overall a great deal for the money and we will return.

I ordered mavericks yesterday to give it a try and was disappointed just like every other pizza place in Manteca. The pizza arrived cold, had almost no sauce, and was seriously lacking in flavor, pretty much a bland crust with some cheese. I think little Caesars even has more flavor. The Parmesan garlic wings were okay, with decent sauce, but they were also cold, which took away from the experience. To top it off, the 2-liter Coke was completely flat and warm, like it had been sitting out for hours. Wont be ordering again and will continue driving out to Ripon to Gold Dust pizza.

For the longest time, I couldn't stop ordering the turkey pesto sandwich because it was that good. Once I finally started trying other menu items, I realized it wasn't just one great sandwich. Given the multitude of licenses at stake in such enterprises, I wish to share my recent experience at this location. This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.

It's located in an industrial area and I'm so happy my family asked to have Italian for this dinner. Julia was our server and was awesome! I appreciated her patience, suggestions, her attention to detail and sense of humor. Service as a whole was top tier here. We got there just in time before their dinner rush. After we ordered the dining room, bar and patio filled up. I had a Cali Squeeze blood orange brew on tap. It was perfectly chilled and perfect on this hot day. We ordered a meatball sub as an appetizer. Oh my goodness, this a must if you are a meatball fan. It was perfect and marinara didn't give me instant heartburn. For entrées our kids ordered chicken alfredo, hubby ordered their Tuscan Siena special and I had to try their steak sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. My steak sandwich had a lot of meat in it, but it was a little dry for my liking. The bread was dry, no condiments, just some onions. We took the leftovers back to our hotel and I picked the steak out and had it with some mustard as a snack. That was more satisfying. We did help our kids eat their chicken alfredo and I enjoyed it with some extra pepper. Next time I'm in Manteca, I will be back for a meatball sub and their fries. I'm so sad I didn't come back for another one and a cold one before leaving, but we'llbe back. This cozy local gem is family friendly, serve great Italian food and their prices are fair. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning. Thank you Julia for your hospitality and great service.

I'll comment on the taste in a bit but I want to first highlight something I've never experienced. In all my work-from-home years I've never once had to-go experience where the dishes looked like they'd been plated for table service at the restaurant. Sure some stuff shifted in the Dasher's car but it honestly blew me away. Even the drink was carefully wrapped and put in a little box to ensure it wouldn't leak everywhere. As for the important bit, the taste, man... I have had so many amazing Thai meals at places in the bay area and honestly just assumed the most Modesto would get is some great Banh Mi spots. Obviously I haven't had the chance to try the whole menu but my go-to, Tom Kha, this is the best Thai coconut soup I've ever had! The Pad Thai is as good if not better than what I've had in San Francisco as well. I'm really looking forward to bringing friends and family here to check it out in person! Side note... yes, it's also very expensive ordering via Doordash with their added fees but it's 2026 and it's California. So far my multiple orders have been well worth the price and I expect the same experience in person! (just, you know, without the extra Doordash fee nonsense)

My older son enjoyed his grilled Salmon, but I tasted a bite and would again rate it similarly to the beef. Prepared well, but I've had better fish before. The cornbread was super sweet. Way too sugary, could barely taste the corn. Our waitress was friendly and nice. She didn't know the difference between real and creamy horseradish. I wanted a 4 inch sandwich but they only had 6 and 8 inch sizes of that certain sandwich. Those two and iced tea gave me a total just under $30. Gaaaahhhhh! It's 2025 and after the pandemic but I'm still adjusting. I went to sit and noticed a dirty table and a mess on the floor. I sat at the next table and hoped that they cleaned it. After a while, they brought the food to me. The clam chowder was good and there was plenty of meat. Usually, restaurants cheapen the mix with loads of potatoes and a hint of clam. The Caprese Sandwich was also very good. I don't realize that it was supposed to come with mozzarella, and I should not have asked for provolone. The Grilled Chicken Roll'd deserves more attention. The grilled chicken reminded me of a flavorful chicken satay, and the peanut sauce complemented every bite without overpowering the fresh ingredients.
